The Westin Grand Frankfurt Francoforte

Ottimo hotel, posizione perfetta per girare francoforte specialmente nel periodo dei mercatini natalizi, purtroppo l'hotel non ha bus navetta da e per l'aeroporto, comodamente raggiungibile in taxi (40 euro circa) o in metropolitana, direttamente dalla stazione dell'aeroporto. Unici nei gli orari della pulizia della camera, alle 15 circa, ma il giorno […] dopo hanno bussato + volte anche dopo le 15 e 30. Occhio che a differenza di altri alberghi 5 stelle, non sono forniti spazzolini da denti e dentifricio, cuffia per la doccia e altre piccole cose. Nel complesso è un ottimo hotel. Continua a leggere

Overall good experience. Bed was very hard. Not up to 5" standard of a Westin considering they advertise a 'Heavenly Bed" I expect a very soft pillow topper, not a quite firm matt, then they specifically advertise Heavenly.

Very nice and pleasant hotel. I have reserved the grand deluxe room and it's very nice and spacious. I had a bad experience tho in the breakfast hall, first day, i had my suite's pants thorn up but a small metal piece coming out of the table bottom. The hotel manager made me fill up some insurance form, it's been a 6 days now and still didnt get the […] call from the insurance. Also i find the bed mattress very hard to my taste. Upon arriving at the hotel there was no porter to help us with our bags. He appeared after we entered the hotel. Hotel advertises free tea coffee facilities in the rooms. The fact is you only get 3 nesspreso pods, one which is decaf and 2 milks ( so not even enough for the 3 pods). When I requested a few extra nesspresso pods and milk was told I would […] be charged 5 euros. Apparently you only get the 3 coffee pods per day. Also after travelling through Europe for 4 weeks and Frankfurt being our last stop was very disappointed that in a developed country like Germany they don't offer free wifi in their rooms. Considering the standard of this hotel that is what a traveller needs most. Morning of our check out called for porter to come with a trolley and help us with our bags. Again no porter. Had to go downstairs to reception and ask again. This all added 30 extra minutes to our check out time. We booked this hotel as the reviews were good, but next time will deffinatly stay elsewhere . Disappointing that there were no English TV channels other than the news. Also surprised that the hotel does not offer free internet in the room. A good cable package as well as free internet in the room, should be a free service in a hotel of this standard and is the least one would expect as a guest. Overall I did not feel pampered.

The hotel was within walking distance of great shops, restaurants, and downtown. The rooms were clean with nice amenities and enough pillows. I was able to open my window which was a big plus, since I like having fresh air when I sleep. All in all, a great hotel and would happily return.

I always stay at this hotel whenever I am in Franfurt, it is a wonderful hotel, rooms are clean and spacious, very nice lobby and if you like chinese and Japanese food, this hotel has the best 2 restaurants in Frankfurt for Sushi and Chinese food. The staff is super amazing, very friendly and they go out of their way to make sure you are happy and comfortable. We stayed for about 10 days while on a business/pleasure trip to Germany. Great location, walk to Zeil and river front. Try Zeil Kebap (just around the corner) for a late meal as everything closes at 8 pm! The only negative I have about […] this hotel is the bed. For some reason, it is not the standard "Heavenly Bed" that we are used to with Westin. They are normally soft and fluffy.. these were hard and uncomfortable. They added some more sheets for us under the mattress cover, but it still was not the same. Also be wary if you upgrade to club, as the free wifi is only at the club at not in your room! If you do stay in club level, the rooms are exactly the same as the others, you just get wifi in the club lounge, free cont. breakfast and access to lounge until 10 pm. Rooms were great. Club lounge was the worst stocked and not worth the extra cost. At check in there was no help with maps or where on the map we were located. No tips what to see or do while in Frankfurt so would be ok if purely there on business. Sterile otherwise

it'd be a five, if only the receptionist wouldn't have been a bit cold. however, all the other people from the staff were absolutely kind and professional. the daily garage parking rate was way to high (23 €). the hotel position is great. the bar makes excellent cocktails. the spa is good.

This Hotel sits in a great part of Frankfurt near the Dom Cathedral and the Zeil shopping street which is all accessible by foot. The Westin name speaks for itself in terms of quality and luxury but it was the staff that made the difference. Very modern, well located, well appointed, with a very pleasant staff. Only glitch was with a WI-Fi plan called High-Speed Internet which was really very low speed. When I tried to call from my room to complain, I pressed a button on the phone called "Quick Service": no one answered!

This hotel was in a great location after a five minute walk your in the heart of the city. Sightseeing hop on hop off bus recommended and is a ten min walk from the hotel. we used this spot for a 2 day layover and it was perfect. Very comfortable - steps from great shopping and the subway. 20 minute train ride to the airport - but you might have to wait up to 20 minutes for the train to come like we did. The hotel staff were great - and the beds were wonderful - heavenly even! Thanks Westin!

5 star hotel with a motel 6 service. very slow internet connection (besides being charged 30 euro a day), beautiful lobby with ugly hotel room, very disappointed, great location is the only thing that could even remotely placed this hotel closer to 3 star. Very disappointed by the Westin chain. Had much better with Marriott Paris & Athens!!!!!

With the exception of the Head Concierge, Mr. Santos and perhaps the door man, the rest of the staff is extremely deficient. I regret staying at this hotel. I should have chosen the Frankfurter Hof.

This Hotel is well located near Zeil pedestrian street, a few yards from the S train, the staff is well trained, very helpful with directions. Breakfast is pricy but well appointed buffet.

I booked an Executive Club package for my fiance's birthday, and we had an amazing time. Totally worth the upgrade for Club access. The pool is much smaller than it looks online, but it's beautiful and the spa facilities on that floor do not disappoint. Fantastic service, fun antique cars in the lobby, fun design features in the room. Great hotel!
