Best Western Hotel Los Condes Madrid

Hotel posizionato in zona centralissima Madrid ma con camere piccole ed in particolar modo il bagno molto piccolo e quasi nullo il necessario per la toilette. Colazione molto esigua e di scarsa qualità rispetto ad altri hotel pari categoria.

La posizione è centrale, vicino a Gran Via e metro Callao. La camera un pò impersonale, parquet a terra recente come il materasso. Pulita. Essendo in una laterale abbastanza silenziosa (schiamazzi occasionali).

Non potevamo fare scelta migliore: prezzi contenuti, qualità servizi e pulizia. A 50 metri dalla Gran Via, la strada principale di Madrid; a pochi passi da Plaza de Espana, Puerta del Sol, Palacio Real. Collegamento Wireless in camera, semplice e funzionale (ho potuto utilizzare il portatile, vecchiotto ma piccolo: stava giusto giusto nella cassaforte […] in camera). Con tre linee di metro (tutte collegate tra loro senza salire in superficie) si giunge, in mezz'ora, dall'aeroporto all'hotel. Per chi non mangia in hotel, consiglio per un pasto economico e fresco: al museo del jamon (tipo salumeria ma aperta anche la sera) paghi un euro per un panino e un euro per la birra... Colazione invece, buona ed economica, in plaza Puerta del Sol. PS: per il nostro caffè bisogna dire "ristretto", perché dicendo espresso ti arriva un caffe lungo.. Continua a leggere

Il Best Western Hotel Los Condes situato in calle de los libreros 7,è una soluzione ideali per i viaggiatori giovani che pur non volendo spendere tantissimo non vogliono rinunciare al confort. Camere dotate di aria condizionata aria e fredda,filodiffusione, tv satellitare e frigobar. Bagno ampio con asciugacapelli e vasca da bagno( cosa rara negli alberghi […] di categoria media). Le camere sono pulite,come il resto della struttura e il personale è molto disponibile per ogni spiegazione in + lingue. La posizione è ottima a 100 m dalla Gran Via,con nell'arco di neanche un km le fermate meteo di Callao,Santo Domingo, Sol e Gran Via, e sempre nelle vicinanze molte attrazioni raggiungibili a piedi( palacio real, plaza mayor) e i centri della Movida più sfrenata come il quartiere La Latina,inoltre accesso in zona a tutti i servizi elementari più importanti. Se proprio si volesse cercare dei punti negativi per essere pignoli, sono l'assenza della colazione compresa nel prezzo della prenotazione( cosa che si può comunque rimediare o sfruttando il servizio di colazione a pagamento, oppure andando in uno dei tantissimi cafè o pasticcerie della città), e il brusio notturno dovuto alla vicinanza dall'intensa vita notturna madrilena,ma nulla di insopportabile in finale. Pretty good hotel near the sites in Madrid and close to public transportation. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable. Very satisfied with the hotel for the price we paid.

The location couldn't have been better, 90mts off the mail shopping street, Gran Via and easily within walking distance of the Palace, Temple de Debod, Cable car and all major attractions. the hotel is basic but clean and the staff are top notch. I booked my return shuttle to the airport for the wrong day and they sorted it out and we make it to the […] airport with plenty of time. The breakfast buffet is fresh and filling plenty to set u up for the day ahead. right beside a KFC and McDonalds with two lovely local resturants across the road on Gran Via at reasonable price. I came by myself for a quick three day vacation in early March to Madrid from the US. I'm not really an experienced traveller and this was my first visit to Spain. The staff was friendly, spoke english, and helpful with questions. The room was very small, especially by US standards (maybe 8ft by 12 feet). Never felt closed in though. It was clean and […] had a good size bathroom considering the size of the room. The bed was hard, but it didn't bother me....but thought I'd mention it. The room had a TV with 30+ cable channels, only found one in english (BBC news), but that was fine, I wasn't there for the TV. The location was good right off of Gran Via. The hotel is located on a little side street off of Gran Via...slightly sketchy for that 1 minute walk off the main street, but nothing that would make me change my hotel. I probably wouldn't stay here again, but only because I'd want to explore other parts of the city and stay closer to those areas. Overall, this hotel was perfect for a first timer wanting to be near everything in central Madrid and for a very good price. Fine for our purpose of visiting Madrid for few days. Close to the metro, many restaurants within 10 minute walk. Heart of theatre land. Actual location of the hotel a little of putting at first but no bother. As avid walkers we went most of the sites on foot quite easily.

Stay for 4 days & near central point. Breakfast - Good & helpful staff that I request hot water everyday & kind, nice to provide, especial restaurant staff is very kind & gentle- remember what I need, cheerful everytime. By the way, improvement for map that find in hotels.com -place is easy to find but unclear director

There was construction going in the hotel in which I did not know that when booking room. The water was shut off in the hotel for nine hours. They said for six hours, but not true. No alarm clock.

This is a great place to base yourself for a weekend in Madrid. The hotel is comfortable, reasonably priced and in a very good situation just off the Gran Via. We booked room only and with the offer of free coffee/ tea served in your room 24 hours a day it was very good value. Breakfast was available at an extra cost of 9 euros each. We had this the […] first morning but after that took the free coffee/tea and ate breakfast elsewhere.There were 3 of us in the one room. We had 2 double beds,one single and a decent sized bathroom with a bath. We loved Madrid- so vibrant and interesting. and a good location and quiet

I stayed at this hotel September 11-14,2011. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was close to The Grand Via the main street for shopping, restaurants,bus stop and metro. This was my first time in Spain. I would stay there again and would recommend this hotel.

Exellent location half block from La Gran Via. Clean and very well kept. Walking distance from major attractions. Staff is very helpful. Small hotel with great comfort. Will definitely stay again.

Location is good, close enough to all the hot spot yet away from the crow. Its an old hotel, so don't expect high tech amenities. The safe cost $1 euro each use. I won't come back because the maid came into our room while we were sleeping and the hotel manager blame me for such mistakes since I didn't manually lock my door.

Though indicated in advance, there were no coffee-tea makers in the room. This is really something they should look. The staff were extremely helpful and the hotel is near to so many tourist spot.

Old but clean hotel in old-city of madrid. Perfect hotel for travellers want to discover madrid by walking. Optional you've got also several subways in surrounding. Prices in weekends was in my case doubled than during week. Free wifi is a plus.

Good service. Well positioned. Clean and well looked after. Room was just very small.

Good location, small room. You get what you pay for.

The hotel staff was not very friendly. We called a few days before to get directions from the metro and they did not send us the correct way. We were coming from the airport so it was very frustrating with all our bags. I would recommend taking a taxi. There are several best westerns in Madrid including one right around the corner. It can be confusing […] so be sure of the one your picking. The location was nice. A lot of good restaurants and shopping. The hotel is close to the metro, just not the one they told us to get off. There is no lift when you first enter the hotel so we had to bring all our down several stairs. The hotel also has wifi, but we got little to no signal in our room. Get an onside room, if there is Any event, the staff and others are loud in the front of the hotel and unresponsive to requests to be more quiet. Spanish people are very hospitable but don't interfere with a party

this was a lovely small clean hotel with very friendly staff and a lovely welcoming atmosphere. I would highly recommend it for its hospitality, cleanliness, location and overall efficiency

This is a two star hotel manifesting as a three star and charging four star prices. I will not be staying there again.

Well situated, easy access for the open top bus (stage 8 on historic route), two metro lines. Lots of choice of good bars for tapas or main meals very near by however the room was very small and with the window open very noisy especially at weekends, with window shut the room got very stuffy.

The hotel is just steps away from the Grand Via with its shopping, theater, and hubub. However, the hotel is on a very quiet street and is itself very quiet.

The room was a little smaller than I"m used to, but since I booked a single room, and it was cheap I was satisfied. It was clean, had good wireless internet, and was very centrally located. I would stay here again if it was this economical the next time I come.

A very good hotel in a very good location. Just off of Gran Via, it is one road away from Sol and didn't experience any trouble in the surrounding area. Had good nights sleep because it was on a side road. Was a little dissapointed with the breakfast because it cost more than you could get elsewhere. Great hotel, very centrally located. The desk staff was also quite friendly and spoke fluent English. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a budget option in Madrid. Only negatives were that the beds were too hard and maybe not the best quality and the tub in the bathroom was not very good since water would spray all over the […] bathroom once you turned on the shower. Noisy hotel. Can hear people in the other rooms.

Excellent location although car parking facility could have been better. Comfortable and the staff were very helpful, polite and friendly.

The room was clean and the location was great, my only complaints was that my room was incredibly small, enough for a bed and suitcase and it was very noisy. You could hear every shower, every toilet flush, all the surrounding alarm clocks and maybe the occasional person yelling down on the streets... and my room wasnt even facing the street. but it […] was very inexpensive, so i guess you get what you pay for. Los Condes is well-situated if you want to be near the Gran Via, but is a crappy, poorly maintained little hole in the wall (which our cab driver got lost trying to find). The room was itsy-bitsy, even by European standards, but most of all, the bathroom smelled like nothing I've ever experienced. Like maybe a combination of mildew and a hamster cage. […] It was like a punch in the face every time we walked into the room. Good hotel well maintened suitable for visit to Palace and surrounding tourist attractions. The price was very reasonable compared to hotels on Gran Via Will use this hotel again

1. The room is by no means a place you want to hang out - very spartan and good for those who just want a roof over your head. 2. Bed was a 10 inch cot at best, room was small - barely fit my one suitcase and laptop bag and I am 101 pounds. 3. Alley where the hotel is situated is undergoing construction, so be prepared for sand in your sneakers - […] at least at the moment of this submission and will likely go on another 4-6 months. But is safe - even though it looks sketchy. 4. Breakfast is not included unless specified at time of checkin. 5. Wifi is decent. 6. Room did not smell like smoke to me. 7. GREAT location and proximity to major sights - 15 mins from Prado by foot, 10 from Sol, 15 from Plaza Mayor. 8. If attempting public transit, know that linea 2 is temporarily closed (closest station is Santo Domingo) so you will have to route to Callou - from there it is a 7 minute walk. Continua a leggere

We absolutely loved everything about Madrid so i have nothing negative to say about the whole experience. The hotel was in a great convenient location, the room was spotless and overall great value for money.
