"in posizione veramente comoda per visitare la cttà"
Recensito da un utente di Hotels.com in data 15 dic 2012l' hotel si trova molto vicino alla stazione ferroviaria principale ed è anche molto vicino al centro città, nelle vicinanze vi sono due snodi tranviari che rendono molto comodo l' utilizzo dei mezzi. Le camere sono di dimensioni discrete e curiosamente decorate con dei bei graffiti e con un buon servizio. La colazione è buona. L'unica pecca se vogliamo è la biancheria da bagno di dimensioni veramente piccole

L'albergo è pulito, ma ha decisamente bisogno di essere ristrutturato, specialmente il bagno che è piccolo, con una vasca-doccia scomoda (erogatore non regolabile in altezzo per esempio) e direi decisamente spartano. Hotel buono, camere confortevoli e spaziose, bel bagno, parcheggio sotterraneo a pagamento. Personale cortese e la ragazza della reception parlava anche italiano (forse perchè lo era). Il quartire non è niente di che, per arrivare in centro a Zurigo però basta prendere il treno, che dista circa 300mt dall'albergo, e scendere dopo una fermata alla stazione […] centrale. This is a nice hotel, the staff were helpful and the room was clean and very spacious. The food in the hotel was also quite good and value for money. There is also a tex-mex just down the road that was great. The neighbourhood isn't great and it's a good 30-45 min walk to the centre of the city. I booked one night with this hotel and I have regretted it. I cannot believe how this hotel has remained unchecked as a 4 star hotel. "Three Star"
The rooms and public areas were not of a four star standard but they were very clean and the bathroom was good. My room was small and poorly lit and the desk was very small to work at for several hours each day. The decor and atmosphere of the room and hotel was entirely functional, but clinical and somewhat sterile, not especially welcoming ; my non […] smoking room smelled of cigarette smoke throughout my stay, possibly from recycled air or from someone smoking on the balcony next door. The reception staff were polite and efficient but not particularly friendly or helpful. The price was good but the hotel does not compare with other 4 star hotels. In particular, owing to my working visit to Zurich, I would have preferred to stay somewhere with more room and a bigger workspace. The location is very good, 15 minutes from the city centre in a nice area undergoing transformation with new bars, restaurants, residential buildings and schools, all of which made for an interesting neighbourhood. The hotel is in a very good location next to the former industrial Escher-Wyss which is now called the Zuri-West district where the former factories and work shops have been converted into shops, restaurants; theaters. The hotel is also close to the shops in the Viadukt area which is built into the arches of train overpass. My only issues are with noise […] of the area since the hotel is next to an elevated roadway which has a large volume of traffic long into the night. You cannot sleep with the window open; if the window is closed, it gets very stuffy. Housekeeping was inconsistent about stocking the coffee maker with supplies, otherwise the room was very clean. I spent one night at this hotel and found my stay to be enjoyable. The hotel is very easy to find...just a short walk from Hardbrucke station. The in-house italian restaurant was very good. Our waiter was very accomodating and the food was delicious. If you fancy going out for a drink after dinner there are quite a few bars just outside the hotel. "very tired hotel needs serious attention"
This place needs a serious uplift especially for the costs! The rooms and hallways are very tired and it feels more like an old school than a professional hotel. I was very disappointed with the beds with a big wooden frame stick up so I could not sit on end of bed. Very poor. I will not stay there again. In terms of location, this hotel was convenient to the offices I had to visit, and is also not far from the Hauptbahnhof (Central Station) by tram, which stops about 100m away. For a hotel in Zurich, it was relatively cheap, and it was clean and comfortable enough. As others have reported, the area around the hotel is a little noisy, but certainly not […] enough to stop me from sleeping - even in a room at the front of the hotel with the windows open. Staff were very helpful - providing a power adaptor and iron / ironing board for free, and quickly (I've had to pay for both of these in Zurich before!). WiFi was also free, which is (in my experience) unusual in Switzerland. Only downside was really the age of the hotel - it's looking a little tired, but I guess that's part of the reason for the lower price! :) All in all, I'd recommend it for a lower-price business hotel! "Value alternative to city cenre hotels"
If you need a cheaper quality hotel in Zurich, then this is the place. Only a few 100m from Hardbrucke railway station it is only one stop from the main station, & saves you about £70 / night in equivalent city centre hotels. We walked into the city as well & it only took 15 minutes. Great for the new & exciting ZuriWest area of town as well (where […] the bars stay open later!).
