arrived very early in the AM. Lady at desk was marvellous. Breakfast was good. Hate the Duvets on the bed (too warm). Looks like an older hotel. Have stayed in other Hamptons that were much nicer.

Great hotel to stay the night before you go on a cruise. They offer free wifi, 24/7 free coffee/tea in the lobby and free breakfast buffet. Places for an easy and light dinner on doorstep, front office staff will help to find the right place to go. Also ask for shuttle service to Port Everglades, we paid $ 20 for two. We had a suite with lots of room. We arrived early, so people were eating breakfast and the common area was a mess, from the tables to the floor, but when we got to our room it was nice and clean. There is a Chipotle resteraunt across the street so that is a plus!

We were pleasantly surprised by the Hampton, as it was clean and well-maintained and had a decent breakfast near the front desk in the morning. We were a pleased that there was shopping nearby, but it was quite a taxi ride to get to the big mall, Sawgrass Mills, which is also where the hockey arena is. Still, the front desk was happy to arrange a taxi […] for us, and they arranged a shuttle to take us to the cruise terminal on a comfortable mini-bus. The room was clean and comfortable, and we were generally very happy with it. The only negative is that I did see a cockroach in the bathroom. If it hadn't been for that, I would definitely say, "stay here when in Fort Lauderdale." Because of this little guy, I can only suggest that you may want to think about it first. Continua a leggere

We had a 2 day stay after completing a Caribbean cruise. We found the hotel very good and comfortable. The breakfast was a real bonus even though basic. The staff were very helpful and accommodating and were a pleasure to deal with. Plenty of shops and restaraunts close by.

My husband and I with our child frequently use Hampton Hotels, it is our hotel of choice when we travel and have never had issues like we did at this particular location. It seemed from the minute we walked in the door there were issues, the clerk at the front desk appeared to be put out at having to help customers arriving. When we went to our room […] the TV did not work, we finally figured out that issue ourselves, our phone did not work and maintainance person was in our room for 1/2 hour trying to fix, once phone was fixed, the line had not been activated, so we had to have that dealt with, the fan in the washroom did not work, the air conditioning did not work, not enough towels, made arrangements for shuttle to cruise terminal, paid $80.00, when approached staff as to when we could expect the shuttle, they did not even have us on a list for pickup, when we spoke to them about the issues with the room we were advised that they would mention it to the appropriate people to have it addressed, and unfortunately because the hotel was booked solid they would not have been able to move us. They really seemed uninterested in dealing with the issues, I would not recommend this particular hotel based on our stay, however we will continue to stay at Hampton Inns but just not this one Continua a leggere

We wanted a non-smoking room but unfortunately you could not meet this request. Was it because Expedia does not have the priviledge to reserve a non-smoking room? When someone is sensitive to the smell of cigarette smoke, it is not a pleasant smell in which to spend a night or more. We will try and book at smoke free facilities in the future.

Hotel was very close to airport and has a free shuttle from airport to hotel. Rooms were clean and comfortable. We had a suite with 2 beds and queen sofa in living room. Slept 4 with plenty of room. I really liked the fact that there was a door to the bedroom and living room which made access to the bathroom more convenient. Staff was very friendly […] and accomadating. The airport pick up process was unacceptable. Would not send a vehicle until we had our luggage, once we called them it took them 45 minutes to pick us up in a unmarked poorly maintained van. The driver was dirty and at one point blew his nose with his bare hands.

We were greeted with a freindly and helpful staff. Our room wasn't quite ready but they gave us another room so we could relax and change to go to the pool. The hotel and room were very clean and large. Hotel was rated a 3 star but should be rated a 5 star, will most likely stay again if in the area.

We have stayed twice at this property in the last three years, both times for an overnight stay before sailing on a cruise. Both times we have had 6 people in our party and both times we have stayed in a suite. We booked three rooms for one night. Though I specifically booked nonsmoking rooms two of the rooms stank of cigarette smoke. When we complained to the front desk they said that is what happens when you book on hotels.com as the website just books any open room. We try to stay at Hamptons when we travel. This was our first visit to this particular Hampton Inn. The room was clean and comfortable. However, we were disappointed in the breakfast buffet. The hotel is cloes to the airport the shops are all in close proximity to the hotel. The complimentary breakfast is simply the best. The hotel and the rooms are very clean special effort goes into making your stay at Hampton a wonderful experience-

Hotel was excellent but the pick up and drop off service at the airport is rotten. When asked why after phoning and the desk said the shuttle would be right there, it took 55 minutes for the van to arrive the driver said "I work on my own schedule not yours"

The room was well laid out as a suite with anyone having access to the bathroom without disturbing others. Had two double beds and an adequate sofa bed. A mile walk or paid shuttle to movie theaters, resturants, shopping. Not close to any major attractions or beach but very adequate for the night before a cruise. We booked a non smoking suite, upon arrival they did not have a non smoking suite. They tried to put us (family of 5) in a regular room (2 double beds), this hotel does not have rollaway beds, so they said someone could sleep on the floor (REALLY)!!! Finally they were able to come up with a smoking suite. It was horriable not only did the room reak […] of smoke by the time we checked out the next morning so did all of us and our luggage. I had to wash everything in our suitcases and air out the suitcases. We also left a pair of glasses in the room and have called 3 times to see if they showed up and each time we call they act like they have never hear this request before and have never received a return phone call. We waited 1.5 hours for the shuttle from the airport to the hotel. When the driver picked us up he was extremely rude, talking on his cell phone the entire drive. The sheet on the pull out couch was covered in hair...absolutely filthy! The pool was so cold my 4 kids would not even swim in it and they usually never complain about the temperature of the […] water. I asked the night before our departure if the shuttle runs all the time and they assured me no problem. We planned on leaving for the airport around 6:15am. We arrived for breakfast at 6:00 as that is when it starts. We wanted our kids to get a meal in them before travelling for 12 hours. At 6:01 the shuttle driver came by and said he was leaving and would return at 7:00! So, another $30 for a cab ride to the airport! Staff was extremely friendly, hotel was in process of being remodeled which made the room for breakfast terribly small and crowded. i made the error online of getting a smoking room which unfortunately made for an uncomfortable night of sleep with the aroma in the room (my bad!)

CONS- didn't know about lobby construction and no signs to tell you where to go ....questionable actions going on near front of property in parking lot which we told the staff about - they became quite indignant and basically told us we were lying. the hotel was under construction so the check in desk was located on the side of the building in a small room. There was a problem with the key machine so we didn.t get a key card for our room. We had to have amintenance let us in every time we left the room. Kind of a pain. The room was very nice though.

We stayed one night at Hampton Suites since we were flying out of Ft. Lauderdale airport. The location was convenient. Shonell at the front desk was very friendly and efficient as was the rest of the staff. They are undergoing a renovation so it was a little inconvenient but still clean and comfortable for the one night.

A great place to relax. Clean and quiet pool area. No on site lounge but you can walk next door and bring a drink back. Breakfast was varied, fresh and clean.
