Posizione centrale, vicino a numerosi ristoranti multietnici per ogni esigenza culinaria e ai magnifici negozi e shopping malls di Michigan Avenue. A pochi minuti dal lungo-lago. Hotel che appare ristrutturato di recente, molto elegante, camera spaziosa in particolare il bagno. Connessione WiFi gratuita.Un ottimo soggiorno.

Ottima posizione (Magnificent Mile a 200m). Due ascensori insufficienti. Ottimo design, molta cura per la forma, poca per la sostanza. Richiesto al check-in di estendere il soggiorno una notte. Risposta del Manager intervistato dall'addetto davanti al cliente: è disponibile ma deve contattare telefonicamente l'hotel.

The only bad thing is that there is no free wi-fi in the whole hotel. 10$ a day for wi-fi or 6$ for 15 minutes at 2nd floor (they made me pay 2$ for each printed sheet!!). On the other hand, the receptionist are extremely helpfull and kind and the position is almost perfect. recommended.

l'albergo è ubicato in posizione centralissima sia per lo shopping che per i monumenti, a due passi da tutto sia a piedi che con i mezzi pubblici.si trova proprio accanto a Gino,una delle pizze più famose e buone di chicago,il che è una bella comodità.il personale del frontdesk e il concierge meritano un elogio per lo splendido lavoro e la gentilezza […] con cui lo svolgono.i fattorini sono gentili, sempre pronti ad aprire le porte,mai invadenti.il valet parking è caro ma in linea con i prezzi di downtown,comunque proprio di fronte all'albergo c'è un self-park per risparmiare un pò.bellissima la terrazza del bar all'ultimo piano, soprattutto la sera in estate per bere un drink. il problema maggiore è stata la cameriera che ogni mattina ci ha svegliato prima delle8 bussando ripetutamente alla porta ed anche aprendola.abbiamo cercato i biglietti "non disturbare" ma in camera non c'erano. forse per clienti d'affari è un orario normale, ma non per una famiglia in vacanza con un bambino di due anni!!!l il fatto più grave è che sia accaduta la stessa cosa anche il giorno del check out, in cui non c'era proprio motivo perchè tanto alle11 avremmo lasciato la camera. la camera era ampia, moderna, al 25piano con bella vista(non eccezionale).i vetri in parte apribili rendevano la stanza non perfettamente insonorizzata.Il bagno,abbastanza piccolo soprattutto per un4 stelle,aveva uno scarico rumorosissimo. i prodotti da bagno sono stati sostituiti ogni giorno.gli asciugamani erano duri e soprattutto non 100%cotone, ma 15% acrilico e lasciavano i capelli pieni di peli bianchi.minibar con ampia scelta.sveglia senza dock per ipod,bella tv con molti canali.scarsa la qualità delle lenzuola e anche l'uso delle coperte (in america anche i tre stelle hanno piumini).meravigliosi i cuscini.colazione a pagamento, anche più cara di altri4stelle di downtown; internet a pagamento; acqua a pagamento; chiamate locali a pagamento; parcheggio a pagamento. altro problema, non indifferente è la presenz Continua a leggere

Hotel in ottima posizione centrale e vicino ad una stazione della metropolitana ed a diverse linee di bus (mezzi assolutamente necessari per chi non voglia limitarsi ad una visita del centro). L'hotel presenta un difetto che ne sconsiglia la scelta nei periodi dell'anno in cui è attivo il riscaldamento. Ogni camera ha al suo interno un proprio impianto […] di riscaldamento ad aria che si attiva ogni venti minuti circa non appena la temperatura scende al di sotto del limite indicato sul termostato, con rumore fastidioso ed una brezza d'aria che esce dal bocchettone dell'impianto. Tra rumore di fondo e brezza l'insonnia è assicurata. In estate l'impianto di riscaldamento si trasforma in condizionatore. Abbiamo chiesto di cambiare la camera e il giorno dopo ci hanno dato una nuova stanza, pur spiegandoci che tutte le camere hanno lo stesso sistema di riscaldamento. L'impianto era meno rumoroso, ma per riuscire a dormire, abbiamo staccato il riscaldamento durante la notte, aggiungendo una coperta (la temperatura interna non scende al di sotto dei 20 C° nonostante fuori ci fossero -7 C°). Attenzione però: non aumentate la tempertaura del termostato al di sopra del 75-77 F°, altrimenti l'impianto di riscaldamento va in tilt ed emette solo aria fredda. Sono comunque venuti prontamente i tecnici a rimediare. Fortunatamente il personale è gentilissimo e disponibile per qualunque problema ed informazione. Costosa la colazione in hotel. not satisfied with the bed, not a queen as promised, bed coverlets made so much noise it woke us up repeatedly whenever my wife or I shifted our bodies. We would not consider using or recommending the hotel to anyone else.

Overall, our stay at Mile North was great. The room was comforting, the location was great being a block from Michigan Avenue and many other popular spots and the small bar in the lobby was perfect for the impromptu beverage.

The hotel label the "luxury" to describe itself as a hotel category. Unfortunelly, during my hotel experience, I never have a sense of luxury about the hotel, it just a normal decent hotel. The room is a decent size chicago room, very outdated decoration, the bedding sheet is very roughy like a sand sheet. The bathroom s wallpaper color like a red wall […] and chipped. Close to almost every majör atttraction of the city, shopping, seaside,towers, what every is your wish you can get to it from this hotel which is a five star posing as a four star, customer satisfaction is top priority and clanless and comfort is built in

I have stayed at this hotel numerous times...under different owners. Two weeks ago I stayed there and it was going through another change of ownership. I was hoping they would put water bottles in the rooms. They did something even better! They placed a large snack bar area in the newly renovated lobby. They have lots of snacks available including a […] good assortment of wines, ice creams, cheeses, soft drinks, etc, and you don't have to worry about them being erroneously charged to your room bill. I've stayed at this hotel MANY times even before its renovation, which is still in full swing. As you walk in to the hotel you are greeted with smells of apoxies and chemicals from their face-lift. One misses the warm greetings of the front desk staff previously there as the girls at the front were rude and altogether un-welcoming.

The room I stayed in (King loft suite) was absolutely beautiful; I actually wish I had more time to spend in the room. The couch and bed were both very comfortable, and the pillows (which I am normally picky about) were perfect. The only problem I had with the room was a broken window shade and a hair I found in the bathtub upon check-in. Also, the […] mirror in the bathroom had lighting that was nice, but made it a bit hard to tell if my makeup looked okay (of course, that won't affect everyone). The hotel is being renovated, so there was a bit of construction. I never heard it and none of the workers were ever in the way, so I can't complain. The staff was very nice and helpful when needed. The location was great for where my business was located, and within walking distance of many restaurants. I will definitely recommend this hotel to others and stay again if the opportunity arises. I highly recomend this hotel! It's a great location, less than a block from Michigan Ave & blocks from Water Tower place. The staff was awsome, very nice & accomedating. The rooms are large and roomy, in good shape & clean. I will definatly stay at this hotel again!

This hotel is in the PERFECT location for a stay in Chicago. It is just off the magic mile and is within walking distance of all the major sites. Our room was nice, and the prices were very reasonable, however we were unlucky to stay there while the hotel was being refurbished. As a result, there were builders in the foyer all day every day, and the […] front desk was swamped. The maids were also ridiculously loud - at 7 or 8am every morning they would go around banging on all of the doors asking if you wanted housekeeping. I booked MileNorth, not realizing it was transitioning from the Affinia Chicago. Lovely, clean property, but so much is NOT ready for guests. The lobby was under construction, the free wifi didn't cover the entire hotel (including the floor where I stayed), room service took 50 minutes for breakfast, and--worst of all--there was no way to control the […] heat in my room. The room was beautiful. There was even a small step from the foyer down into the living area. It was spotless, housekeeping kept these rooms very clean. The service was spectacular. The only tricky part is that the hotel is in the heart of downtown Chicago which is a bit tricky with traffic & all but otherwise this is a hotel I would go back to again […] & again. The hotel is under renovations and will likely be very nice upon completion. For this frequent traveler it was just a fair hotel with medoicure service. I'd try it again after the renovations are completed.

This was my second stay here. Renovations were in progress in the lobby area and there were some issues with the WiFi and the elevators. Still, at about $160 a night (not counting taxes), with its stylush rooms and excellent location very close to Michigan Avenue, this is a good choice. I would return.

The Mile North is one of my favorite Chicago Hotels. It used to be the Hotel Affinia. It was sold and taken over by new ownership. The rooms are basically the same, except for some minor touches like a lime colored pillow and a lime green bed throw. Not much change at all. I do wish they would provide bottled water. There is a frig conveniently located […] in the rooms which is great. This is the only hotel I know of with sunken bedroom areas. Three steps lead into the bed area. Very neat. The bathrooms are still the same with the bright organge shiny wall paper. The lobby is being redone and is almost completed. It is amazing that this was done given how recent Affinia took over the prior hotel and redid it including the lobby. I fiind the hotel very convenient to lots of restaurants and shopping. this boutique hotel was absolutely perfect!! the only drawback was that when we arrived they were putting the final touches on updating the lobby, so there was some construction. This was all done by the time we left. Even so it did not interfere with the ambience, service of comfort....

The hotel met all of our expectations, although, I was disappointed to find the lobby under construction. The construction was well contained though and the only inconvenience it caused was a bottle-neck getting through the small hallway to the elevator. I took my daughter over night for her Birthday. Nice Hotel. Great Location right next to Gino's east. They are refurbishing the lobby. The staff was very nice and the room was great. We spent the days on the Mag mile and going beyond.

Best things about this hotel are its location and the service of the wonderful staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful! The location can't be beat for a family stay with kids. It's just 1/2 block off the Magnificent Mile -- fantastic shopping (including kid faves Disney store, Lego store, American Girl store), great restaurants, historic […] Water Tower are all within a couple of blocks. The only detraction for us was that part of the building is under construction so it felt a little unfinished in the lobby and elevator bay areas. The room was comfortable, clean and well appointed.
