Ho soggiornato in questo splendido resort pochi giorni fa assieme alla mia famiglia. L'appartamento, pulitissimo e ben arredato, mi è piaciuto parecchio. Le camere da letto sono spaziose e luminose, i letti comodissimi, i bagni ben curati e dotati di tutti i comfort. Sono presenti un'enorme doccia nel bagno principale, una vasca da bagno a due posti, ed una vasca con doccia nel bagno secondario. La cucina, funzionale e completa di elettrodomestici, ha soddisfatto pienamente le nostre aspettative. Il soggiorno, grazie alle due porte finestre, è luminoso e la vista esterna è gradevole. Fanno sicuramente la differenza, rispetto ad altri resort, la presenza nell'appartamento di lavatrice, asciugatrice, asse e ferro da stiro ed internet wifi ad alta velocità. Inoltre vengono forniti all'interno degli armadi accappatoi per scendere in piscina e teli da mare. Il personale è stato sempre gentile e disponibile, le numerose piscine e vasche idromassaggio, sia interne che esterne, sempre impeccabili. Si stavano svolgendo all'interno delle aree comuni accanto alle piscine dei lavori di ristrutturazione, ma l'estrema gentilezza, discrezione e silenzio degli operai, non hanno assolutamente disturbato il nostro soggiorno. Le uniche note negative che purtroppo ci hanno fatto decidere di non tornare più in questa struttura, sono la spiaggia e la posizione del resort ad Estepona. In primis, la spiaggia: nella zona di lettini ed ombrelloni si presenta ben curata, con sabbia soffice. Mano a mano che ci si avvicina al mare, iniziano a presentarsi sassi sempre più grossi dall'aspetto inquietante perchè neri e ricoperti di alghe verdi, che fanno passare la voglia di entrare in mare, soprattutto se si è a piedi nudi. Il mare spesso mosso, inoltre, non aiuta di certo, soprattutto se con voi portate bambini. Inutile quindi soggiornare in un 5 stelle lusso se poi non ci si può godere nemmeno il mare. Riguardo alla posizione del resort, ci aspettavamo qualcosa di meglio. Al di là della strada

Hotel bello e confotevole,Le camere sono pulite e la colazione èottima. Si trova a pochi km da Ronda e ha il vantaggio di un ampio parcheggio gratuito. Lo consiglio vivamente per chi vuole un soggiorno tranquillo immerso nel verde

abbiamo fatto una settimana all'hotel Isabel...dal 05 al 12 Sett...e siamo rimasti soddisfatti....hotel pulito...colazione a buffet abbondante...posizione discreta di fronte a playamar a 20 min a pieda dalla Carihuela..ed a 10 min dal centro vecchio di torremolinos..15 min dalla stazione del treno per Malaga (aeroporto)...servizio hotel buono...ci hanno anche concesso di lasciare li il nostro bagalio per l'ultima giornata di sole lasciandoci anche una stanza per doccia e cambio...ideale per riposarsi e famiglia..e non lontano dalla movida..

We are a retired Irish couple who have just spent our 2nd Spring break at the El Fuerte in Marbella. Its an excellent hotel in every way, great for our age group, you don't need a car,the food is top class. We are already looking forward to next year.

We had booked a basic room and thought anything would be fine for the limitied amount of time we spent in our room. We got to our room 225 and pulled back the curtains only to find a lot of curtains and a very tiny window. Worse was that the window had fixed shutters across them which were not able to be opened. The net effect was a very dark almost […] windowless room. I went to front desk and they 'upgraded" to a room which had a side view of the sea and patio which was fine. This is an excellent hotel with friendly professional staff Breakfast was great and the room was comfortable My only complaint was that the parking charges were so high,but in the middle of Marbella parking is a big problem everywhere

"Hotel Fuerte Marbella - Great Location"
Hotel is right at the beach and a 5 minute walk to the cobbled streets of the old town. Breakfast was great quality and an unbeatable selection. Service was prompt and polite. We were a group of 3 ladies aged between 50 and 65 and would definitely recommend this hotel.

I loved this hotel - best 4-star I've stayed in. Very comfortable beds, clean, right next to the sea, even with a sideview of it without booking seaview :) Nice helpfull staff and very central. Big garden, outdoor pool not heated was the only disadvantage I think! And the bread was not good at all (cheap pre-baked stuff)- rest of breakfast great.

If you want a hotel in Marbella then this is a good choice. We paid very little for a twin room with breakfast (we managed to get a double). Room fine (with kettle!!) & bathroom large - 2 basins. Hotel slightly dated, however, don't be put off as clean, spacious, tidy & in very good condition. We spent 3 days in Seville rushing around (it's beautiful) […] and drove down for 2 nights here. Staff very polite/professional - particularly the bar staff. Drinks are reasonably priced. Decided not to have large buffet dinner in restaurant & opted for veal steak in bar - it was so tasty. Live music each night. Beach front hotel & enjoyable lunch right by the sea in it's beach restaurant. Would recommend a stay here. Continua a leggere

"Good"
The hotel was very nice and so were the rooms. The elevators are not air conditioned so it's hard to breathe in them when crowded. I was disappointed that I had paid for a front ocean view room and obtained a lateral ocean view. Breakfast was excellent.

Solid 4 star hotel, our room was super clean and cute. Great location to the beach and lots of restaurants. I would stay there again if in the area. Only complaint is the 2 twin beds pushed together are uncomfortable but I know in Europe that is pretty common offering.

We stayed at the Hotel in August, the price per night was quite expensive but the service we got was great, entertainment every night in the Hotel's bar, prime location in Marbella, lots of upper class people at this hotel.

My husband and I traveled to Marbella for our honeymoon and stayed here. The hotel was a bit difficult to locate coming into town, so bring directions, but it is right on the beach and also surrounded by restaurants and bars. The staff at this hotel are all extremely helpful and service is very good. However the hotel is tired and needs investment. Our sea facing room was very basic. The grounds of the hotel - swimming pools and sunbathing areas are far too small for the number of guests the hotel can accommodate. "Perfect location"
This hotel is perfect for couples looking for a beach holiday that isn't just about lying by the pool - though the pool area was excellent. Rooms have obviously been redecorated recently and are clean and airy. Only negative would be that air-con is quite loud. The breakfast was upsides with an upmarket US hotel. Great selection of fresh fruit, bread, […] traditional cooked food and a chef on hand to make your choice of omelette or crepe. We chose the hotel because the of it's enviable beach front location and weren't disappointed... Less than a minute to the sandle-melting sand. It is also just a couple of minutes to the pretty Old Town with its narrow streets, great boutiques and places to eat. Taxis are very reasonable in Marbella - just £11 to Puerto. Finally the pools, although not massive, are never overcrowded and i especially enjoyed being able to use the kaos one. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Continua a leggere

Stayed for 7 day mid May - warm and sunny. 2 adults 65+. We wondered whether booking a city centre hotel was a risk too far, but our experience at this hotel showed it was a great decision. The Fuerte is a city centre oasis, great room with a sea front view, large enclosed grounds with all the trimmings including covered and open pools, and direct access […] to a very good beach. Would recommend half board as hotel dining is excellent and relatively good value, followed by good and varied live entertainment every night. What's more, it is a few minutes walk from Marbella Old Town, with interesting shops and large choice of restaurants and places to sit and people watch and be seen. The there are frequent local buses to local shopping mall and Puerto Banus, with a hydrofoil to this unreal yet fascinating essential place to see, leaving from the marina also close by. Had a lovely eight night stay at the Fuerte. We had a great deal because it was just before the season started but we were incredibly lucky with the weather it was scorching! This is a real quality hotel bang smack in the middle of everything, nothing seems more than a few minutes away. "5 day trip - March"
What a fantastic hotel. The service was amazing and facilities were excellent. Food served was of the highest standard. Located just off the beach it is an easy stroll down the beach to some nice restaurants and bars. Would highly recommend!!!
Very pleased with the hotel all above expectation, will visit again for sure,the only down side was the expensive hotel parking at 12euros per day costing more to park the car than to hire it.

We were really happy with our choice - great location, pools, etc. The breakfast buffet was especially great - huge selection complete with someone to cook you eggs or crepes, a chocolate fountain, and champaign as well as the regular breakfast selection. We would definitely stay again.

Very good value, nice and well located hotel. I initially got a very small and noisy room on the first floor, but subsequently moved to a good size and quiet room on the upper floor. The lobby and restaurant (especially at breakfast time) can get somewhat busy with many golf tour groups. Friendly and efficient staff.

we have just returned from a three night stay and would highly reccomend this hotel. All the staff from reception through to the cleaners were extremely polite and helpful. The room we had was very small not sure we would have been comfortable to stay longer but the sea view was lovely and the room was clean. great possition and would definately visit […] again. We stayed in this hotel in January 2011. Overall we couldn't fault the hotel. Great location, excellent staff, safe parking, good facilities (indoor heated pool for off-season), evening entertainment, and good buffet breakfast. When we arrived I was quiet ill and the gentleman on reception was just brilliant, so understanding and attentive. There were […] two things that we found unsatisfactory. One related to the lack of sound proofing. We could the babies crying the room next door. Could also hear water running in their bathroom e.g. shower, toilet flush etc. The other issue was the price of a pint in the bar: it was expensive. Other drinks were however ok. The location and the staff really made this a special place to stay. "The El Fuerte Marbella"
We thouroughly enjoyed our Christmas and New Year in the El Fuerte. The sea view was not a disappointment(important if you want a view) and the breakfast was excellent with very friendly, hard working staff. The Manager Maria was often seen around the hotel and could not do enough for her guests. We had admired the Christmas table cloths on the table […] and next we knew there was a packet of them in our room! The Hotel has a great location for the Marbella old town and the nightly entertainment was of a good standard especialy the Flamenco night. We treated ourselves to some of the spa treatments and these were lovely. "Hotel Marbella Fuerte - Absolutely Top-Class"
My husband and I have just returned from a blissful week at the Marbella Fuerte and we would highly recommend it for your stay in Marbella. Each and every aspect of the hotel exceeded our expectations. It's location is ideal - set right on the promenade, it offered a lovely view of all going on around us. We literally used to just walk out the gate […] from the garden/ pools and were on the prom which goes all the way to Porta Benus... this, by the way is a lovely way to spend a morning. At night, we were conveniently located for dining in either the old town or on the promenade. The gardens are beautiful, as are the terraces by the pool. The pools themselves are more than adequate for holiday - an indoor pool; which was set-out in lanes and seemed to be used by people interested in doing serious swimming; doing laps, and a very pleasant outdoor pool more suited to those of us who were happy "having a splash and bobbing around". We were there on a bed & breakfast basis - I would defintiely recommend this too. I especially liked the omelette bar and chilled cava. The choice and quality of food available was excellent. We did have lunch at the hotel one day. The menu was varied and offered plenty in the way of vegetarians. Service was very good. All staff were incredilby curteous, efficient and friendly for the duration of our stay. This went from the two lovely receptionists who met us when we were weary after travelling to every other member of staff we met during the week. Staff at breakfast in the morning were always so bright and friendly. The staff in the bar and at lunch were always a pleasure to deal with - everyone was always bright, smiling, eager to help in any way that they could. Our room was bright and had a spacious balcony. The bathroom was equally spacious and well-appointed. Our bedroom was located at the side of the hotel and this was the only thing that was disappointing during our stay. "El Fuerte Hotel Marbella - The ideal location"
Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anybody, and after having just returned from a visit in July 2010, I am already considering returning to the same hotel again for a second visit in September! The hotel was spotlessly clean, the rooms modern and well-equipped, the facilities excellent, and the location ideal - as it turned out to be both quiet […] and free from yobs, whilst also within easy reach of the numerous restaurants, ice-cream parlours, parks and shops in Marbella itself. The inclusive breakfast was excellent with everything you could possibly want foodwise to start the day. We did pay extra for the evening meal one night which was not included in our package - but we did find it to be rather expensive for what it was and the evening standard of service from the waiters etc didn't seem to be quite up to the lofty standards of staff attentiveness during the day. The views from the hotel were fantastic as it directly overlooks the seaside promenade and is blessed with a particularly quiet section of beach. Although the location was great, room clean and well appointed, pool and beach lovely, the night time dumpster activity directly below our balcony ruined our sleep! Bottles were dumped and lids banged shut around the clock of the 7 dumpsters adjacent to the west end of the hotel. This hotel seemed to be the best along the paseo. Walked by the sister hotel and saw that it was further out of the way. Really close to lots of decent tapas bars and shops. "The bella of Marbella"
The Fuente is located on the beach in central Marbella. It is an extremely wonderful hotel. Everything was very excellent, including the Flamenco show. Beware that drink prices are outrageous, but then there is no cover for the show.
"Outstanding Hotel"
This was an excellent place to stay. It sits 20 feet from the beach and has some really nice pools and bar area. The hotel is within walking distance to everything along the beach and the City Center. The room was spacious and comfortable with a decent view. The hotel was easy to find off the A-7 autovia.
