The Boston Park Plaza Hotel Boston

L'hotel si trova in un bellissimo quartiere, vicinissimo alle strade dello shopping, a ristoranti e alla fermata della metro. E' molto grande, forse un po' vecchiotto, il nostro bagno non era nuovissimo e si vede che nel complesso è un po' datato. E' cmq un bell'hotel, la pulizia è ottima è lo staff molto cortese. Assolutamente consigliato.

L'hotel è situato in posizione strategica:a 2 passi dalla metro e di fronte al parco del Boston Common. La zona circostanze è un quartiere chic e tranquillo,nelle vicinanze un viale ricco di negozi per dello shopping sfrenato(tra cui un grande magazzino ben fornito e un outlet):direi un ottimo compromesso per qualità e prezzo. L'hotel è in una posizione eccellente , hai tutto a portata di mano , la stanza è pulita , forse un pò piccola , anche se noi abbiamo scelto la più economica. L'unica cosa negativa è il wireless a pagamento in camera, invece nella hall è gratuito.

l' albergo è molto bello, è forse il più vecchio di boston, si trova di fronte alla metro, in pieno centro, comodissimo. la camera è davvero confortevole e comoda. unico difetto la macchina dell' aria condizionata che funziona anche da spenta 24 ore su 24 (solo ricircolo) non producendo aria fredda ma solo rumore che costringe chi ha il sonno leggero […] (come me) a dormire con i tappi, pur essendo l' albergo ed il suo intorno molto silenziosi. L'albergo è ottimamente posizionato, vicinissimo alla metropolitana ed alla centrale ed animata Newbury Street, dove è possibile fare colazione a prezzi giusti. La struttura è francamente datata: infissi, moquette e bagni mostrano l'usura del tempo. Noi avevamo prenotato 2 camere ed in una addirittura non c'era l'acqua calda. L'Hotel è molto grande ed architettonicamente bello. La mia stanza era con il doppio letto, il doppio bagno ed era spaziosa.Noi eravamo 2 adulti ed un ragazzo. Boston è una città piccola e l'ubicazione dell'Hotel consente agevolmente di raggiungere tutti i punti di interesse a piedi. Sono rimasto, quindi, molto soddisfatto, anche per il costo/notte […] molto interessante che mi è stato applicato. Quello che stona è il costo del garage che, riferito a quello dell'Hotel, sembra esagerato. Però si sa, nelle città importanti americane i parcheggi sono molto cari, A NYC è peggio. Storico hotel in pieno centro a Boston, costruito anni fa con impostazione "regale", enorme hall, negozi e posizione perfetta. Sente pero' il peso degli anni, e le camere dovrebbero essere ristrutturate, specialmente il bagno. Pulizia comunque impeccabile, posizione perfetta per visitare la zona pia' alla moda di Boston (Back Bay), ma anche per raggiungere […] Beacon Hill tagliando per il Boston Common. Inoltre ho approfittato di un'offerta su hotels.com e il prezzo e' risultato decisamente vantaggioso per la citta' forse piu' cara degli USA per gli alloggi. Continua a leggere

Ottima posizione, zona tranquilla, splendida città.

Ottima posizione vicino a metro e al Boston Common. Camera pulita ma piccola, l'albergo è enorme ma si vede che è vecchio come stile e struttura anche se rinnovato probabilmente non da molto. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo è comunque buono. Consigliabile per 1-2 notti.

Historical hotel, beautiful lobby, very close to metro and city center. Unfortunately our room, overlooking the inner courtyard, was very noisy, due to the ventilation system, which had the giants fans in the courtyard, and it seemed to be in airplane, we had to sleep with ear plugs! price too high to sleep worse than my house!

The room was great but I had a few problems. First of all even though I prebooked and paid for my room the concierge tried to downgrade my room. Lo and behold a room became available after I insisted on speaking to the supervisor. Secondly It would seem that conference logistics put the catering staff(greeting person) under stress and their inability […] to make simple decisions was blantantly apparent and was consequently unpleasant,Not what you would expect given you are a paying customer. Having said that the cleaning staff were accomadating and nice and the room sufficiently comfortable with a king size bed. If all the staff were as nice as the room cleaners it would have been a very pleasant stay. For the price I might look elsewhere in future. Continua a leggere

Staff were friendly. My first room was not cleaned properly, but the substitute room was clean. This hotel is in a great location, but in need of renovation.

Lobby was pretty. Hotel shows its age. Rooms were small, musty, old. Service was ok. Overall they almost had something but I won't be back

If you want to see what a hotel room looked like back in the day, you should stay here. With all the new boutique hotels popping up throughout the city, I did not expect the room to be so dated. The bathroom had it's original fixtures from the 50's. The only update was the shower head and the curved shower curtain rod. The building is beautiful. The […] lobby was grand. The location of the hotel is great. Very safe and trendy neighborhood right next to the commons and T station. Others complained about the room being small but for me and my husband it was fine.. Cozy. Bed was very comfortable. However, the one bed suite we were in for the first 3 nights, the toilet paper roll was in a very awkaward location in the […] bathroom. You can barely reach it if you are sitting on the toilet because it was pretty far away. The 4th night we moved into another room with 2 beds, and that room had a defective shower head that wouldn't stay put and came out in streams instead of shower. We ended up in Boston a day early for the recent Red Sox Yankees series. Already having hotel reservations for our other days there, we reserved a room at the Boston Plaza for Thursday April 19th that morning. Everything about our stay there was great. My stay at the Noston Park Plaza couldn't have been better. The staff were very polite and helpful. It is right on the underground green line train and also handy to Back Bay station. Red Sox Game . Marathon . Bruins at night. Public Garden in full bloom.Another perfect Patriot's Day(even though the Sox lost) at my favorite Boston Hotel.

Stayed for a college visit. Great location and nice suite size for a good price. Bit older hotel but maintained well. Full kitchen was a great positive benefit. Will stay here again.

Hotel lobby great. Hall ways and rooms need renovations .two tiny bathrooms that were clean but like a closet size.

The ambiance of the hotel cant be compared, however, in my personal opinion the interactions I've had with the front desk weren't as fluid as i would've liked i feel that the front desk is entirely way too "young" for a hotel of this calibur. I had an excellent stay at the Boston Park Plaza in Back Bay Boston. The staff was very helpful and accommodating, the restaurants Mccormicks and Schmicks and Pairings were excellent.Would stay again and eat there anytime. The closeness to the outstanding Back Bay neighborhood and Public Gardens and Boston Common with excellent shopping on Newbury Street […] was a lot of fun. Stay was great. Would like to see WiFi in rooms for no extra charge.

It was good, however the service in the front desk and the service in the breakfst room in the 15 floor was really bad. Y went to have some breakfast at 9:15 and was practically empty and the employee attention was really bad

Nice hotel and room; comfy bed. Only real complaints are a loud heating/cooling system that runs constantly and 2 service calls (one maintenance and one housekeeping), neither of which I called for but considering one was very late and the other very early I was in my pjs both times and was a little irritated.

The hotel is at a great location right in the city centre of Boston and close to the Boston Commons, Newburry Street and Copley Square. However, the interior of the hotel as well as the rooms are seriously outdated a major overhaul would be necessary to make this a nice hotel. In addition, I found the rooms were not extremely clean i.d. smelly towels […] (luckily only the first day), dirty bathroom walls and lots of dust around and behind the curtains. Furthermore, the beds in the room were not comfortable and furniture was stained and looked dirty. I do not understand why hotel mangement allows this to happen, I expect that they check the rooms themselves on a regular basis. If it was my hotel I would not have accepted rooms being dirty and furniture looking like it has not been cleaned in ages. High price for what you get. There was no breakfast and it was very noisy. The bed was good. The place is very good wen you want to be in the center of the city. When you uwe public transport its good to go to. With car its trouble and expensive.

We've stayed at this hotel 3 times in the past year and have had great experiences all 3 times. The hotel is in a great location, whether you want to walk around to explore or take cabs (which isn't too costly because of where the hotel is located in the city). Beds are big and very comfy, hotel rooms were always clean.

I liked this hotel, very classy comfortable and reasonably priced. However they really should provide free internet or WiFi. They want to charge $12 per night per device !!! I'd rather they up the rate $5 and build in internet.

My only complaint is that the room wasn't what I expected - the "separate sitting area" was in the same open space as the bed.

Classic Boston Hotel in an excellent location - easy walk to the Commons & Public Gardens, the T, and to downtown. Fine room, friendly service.

Picture of room was nothing like description. I wanted a king size bed and bed seem to be a double.I was unable to get guest service and had to call from cellphone to get someone to answer.
