Great pool area and the best beds to sleep :) my kids had a great time and great location to the downtown area with shopping just around the corner. Had a great time and plan to stay again sometime soon.

other than the rediculous waits for the elevators - the hotel was perfect.

i will not stay here again. I was here to visit my mom in a rehab center so i needed a hotel to sleep. I didn't care about the amenities but they were awesome. First of all, they wouldn't let me have a cart to carry our luggage up ourselves. I was told it was AGAINST hotel policy but when we left i was told to get my cart myself. The shower was broke […] and flooding the bathroom and although they came to repair it no offer to help clean up and no offer to give us more towels to replace the ones that we use to clean up the water. the valet was wonderful and worth every penny. Great stay!

For the most part, the hotel was very nice. We just couldn’t get past the strong stench of smoke. We checked in at 11:00 pm, so options were non-existent. They gave us breakfast coupons, but that really wasn't worth sleeping in a smelly room. They offered to give us a different room for the second night, but it would have been a huge hassle to move […] our stuff when one became available since we left really early the next morning and wouldn’t be back until late in the evening (we we’re touring colleges). In my opinion, if they knew we were checking in late, and we asked for a non-smoking room, they should have held one for us. We were actually put on the 9th floor which is labeled the smoking floor on the signs by the elevators. Pre-paying in full stinks in this situation. Continua a leggere

I have teenagers and the suite space was perfect . The view of Chicago from the pool was wonderful. Everything is in walking distance and the staff work hard to remember and call you by name. One evening we were chilly and called for extra blankets. They promptly delivered warm blankets to our room. I slept like a baby!

The location of the hotel was great ! Across the street from the Hancock Center. A block away from the Magnificent Mile. Two blocks from the redline. It was a 2 room suite. The rooms were small but fine for a family of 4. The indoor pool was on the top floor and had great view of lake Michigan. My 2 complaints: 1. $55 / night for storage of car! We […] never needed the car while we stayed. Charge less for not getting your car out. 2. Check Out - They wouldn't let us get our own luggage cart. No one ever showed up for check out. I finally had to go down and raise a big fuss and they finally let me get my own cart. Either get there quickly or let people get their own cart. It took an extra 15 minutes to check out. Hotel service wasn't very good. We called for an extra blanket two times and they never brought one to our room. Other than that it was a nice hotel.

We loved staying at the Hilton! The rooms were clean. The service was great and you couldn't beat the location! Book it - you won't regret it.

Very friendly and helpful staff. House keeping need work. Came very late most days. did not come at all the last day and had to call.

Nice room. Good Location.

Great location, view of lake and beautiful hotel. Sofa bed in suite could have been more comfortable. Didn't like daily Internet service fee of $12.95 in room (complimentary in lobby only). The Hilton Hotel on Chicago's Magnifiscent mile was very clean and oh so comfy! The most comfortable beds and pillows were provided making sleeping a dream. The hotel was also very clean and centrally located to all that Chicago has to offer. Our T.V. wasn't working and maintenance was up to our room within in 5 minutes to fix it. The Hilton Suites is very conveniently located to Water Tower Place and the Magnificent Mile. You can take a city bus to other sites for $2.25 per trip. The service at the hotel was not up to expectations. We had only one drinking glass in the room (3 occupants) and not enough towels. The pull out couch (bed) was very uncomfortable. Our in-room coffee […] was not repflenished and there was only one coffee cup (for two adullts). We had breakfast in the dining room; the server was unfriendly and very brusque. The location of this hotel could not be nicer. We had a fantastic experience. Our cleaning lady Maria was amazing and very quick to take care of us. We had trouble with the fold out sofa bed and maintience was fast and efficient to fix the problem. The price to pay for parking was alot but that is everywhere in Chicago. Traveling with 3 children, length of stay = 3 days. We had everything we needed, microwave, fridge, two comfy beds, and the staff brought us a pack-n-play for the baby immediately upon request. The room was clean as a whistle. Beds are as comfortable as advertised... you could really get lost in those beds. Bonus: Top floor pool with amazing 30-floor […] view. Only drawback, the room is a little small for the price. And parking is pricey (55$ day) but not as slow to return from valet as I feared (give them 10-15 minutes). But security was good, service was great, and the location can't be beat. See the John Hancock from your window, easy walk to Water Tower (2 blocks), CTA easily available, Cheescake Factory around the corner (2 minute walk) does take-out if you're too tired to go out. :) Continua a leggere

Very comfortable room and bed; quiet, dark, slept as well as at home. There were both a refrigerator and microwave as well as coffee maker in the room with a roomy food prep area. Roomy and nice bathroom with very nice toiletries (Peter Thomas Roth for my stay). Two large flat screen TVs. Great place to stay! On the expensive side, but what do you expect for downtown in a major city. Professional, cordial, quick service & a great room. Next to John Hancock Center/Observatory (great views from the top). Not convenient for subway/"L" access (about a 6 block walk). Two blocks from northern end of Magnificent Mile. We stayed at the Hilton for a weekend bachelor party. It was clean and comfortable, very close to Magnificent Mile (one block), right across the street from the Water Tower. Views from the rooms were mostly of the other tall buildings in Chicago (we did not pay extra for a view of the lake). Note that most 'extras' are a la carte. WiFi is NOT free […] and the business centre charges per 15 minutes of usage. You would also pay per page to print. The pool and fitness centre are adequate. A few treadmills and some free weights. The hotel was nice, had a little trouble with bathtub drain, wish the staff would have explained how to use it but over all the room was nice and clean, will come back again

Front desk staff ignorant and not helpful, screwed up room assignment, arrogant. No bell service.

You cannot beat the location - great neighborhood and right off the lake. Staff was friendly. However, the room, while clean, smelled musty. The pool area also needed more attention as the water was a bit cloudy and floor dirty. I think I could have done better in that neighborhood for the price at the Rafaello, Marriott, etc.

We arrived early for the interview our daughter had scheduled at noon. We asked if we could get into the room earlier than "allowed" so she could prepare and they were very gracious about finding us a room. Everything was very nice.

I would highley recommend this hotel to anyone going to visit Chicago downtown area. The location was absolutley perfect, walking distance to Water Tower Place, Bloomingdale's, Cheesecake Factory, just to name a few. You will not be disappointed.

Great hotel, staff and location! Our only disappointment was the mattress was very hard and we couldn't get a good nights sleep. We woke up early and sore, but that might just be because we are use to a softer mattress.

Plus: Convenient location. Room was great. Service was good. Con: Wireless internet cost $13.95/day, weak signal. Indoor pool way too crowded with kids, no place to sit or put stuff, couldn't do laps.

Location was perfect. Close to Hanncock Building. Close to Water Tower for shopping. Rooms were nice and staff was very nice. Planning to stay there again this summer and go to Navy Pier which is walking distance also. :)

Walking distance to everything it seemed. Door men were outstanding, helpful, and polite. Room was great and kids loved the pool with a view of the lake. Pullout couch was colle quality at best...these need help for sure. $55 for valet parking stung. Breakfast buffet for $28 was stupid as well. All tolerable with walking distance to everything!
