Pocono Palace Resort - All Inclusive Poconos (area)

We have been to the Pocono Palace several times and love it more each time. So Much to do or just to relax and spend time with your significant other. Can't wait to go back again!!!

This was the second time that my husband and I stayed here, It was great! Went midweek this time and had a great relaxing week. There is always something to do even during the week. The food was great and I can't say enough things about the staff. Already planning another trip!!

I booked this last minute much needed weekend away for my husband and myself and I have to say it was terrific. I have been to Paradise Stream resort, but I have to say this one is far better. We went the first weekend in December and the whole place was decorated for Christmas, it looked beautiful. We booked the Roman Tower room and loved every bit […] of it. Being that it was cold our outdoor activities were limited, but there was so much to do indoors. They have an awesome game room and always different activities going on in the bar and lounge. The entertainment in the evening was great. I can't say enough about the staff, they are the best, always friendly and courteous. The food was great, so many choices and so much of it. My husband and I were so surprised at the disappointing room we were given. There was a huge water bug in our room, the room itself was run down and very dated. We were able to switch rooms to an identical looking room, minus the bug. The best part of our stay was dinner, which was included, and the scenery around the resort was very nice. it rained a lot that weekend. the lobby was leaking, some rooms were leaking where guest had to be moved to another room. the rooms over the lounge/bar has to be the worst. there isn't an elevator to take you up to your room. you have to carry your luggage/bags up and down the long flight of stairs. climbing those stairs had you doing one of two things. […] you either stayed in your room or once you left your room you didn't want to go back. you just didn't want to be bothered with the stairs. my question is why wasn't that explained to me at the time reservations were made? i guess they were trying to sell a room. had i known that i would not have gone. the hotel staff were great, very helpful,very freindly. the entertainment was great. the food was good. Pocono Palace is a quant little place, tucked away right off of a major road. The room is clean, the staff are friendly and attentive, and there are plenty of activities. They also have first rate shows.

Nice, peaceful atmosphere, beautiful room, and wonderful view. Would recommend this get away to anyone looking for a romantic place to stay. No children, peaceful dining and having breakfast in bed is wonderful! Loved the pool in my room and Jacuzzi! Lots of privacy. The website portrays this lodge as a luxurious romantic getaway for couples. We arrived there for just a short weekend, and immediately upon arrival felt a bit disappointed on the overall feel of the place. The main building had clearly been recently renovated, but the rooms were disappointing. Taking a regular highway motel room, painting it pink, […] adding an oval bed and mirrors and some pink furry carpet around just feels like lipstick on a pig. Having said that, everything else besides the room was OK. Food, service, activities, the show all was just fine. But we got there to be just the two of us, and that room just wasn’t inviting. Looking at the pictures on the web I was a bit wary of this place. The pictures looked old and fake and really did not get a true sense of the place. The first room they put us in was a glorified motel room with a bathroom style hot tub in the corner. After the hottub spouted brown water they were nice enough to move us to a upgraded room which was […] maybe what i would expect from the price I paid. The food was OK, and the activities were nice, but overall the place needed a giant upgrade . I t almost reminded me of some mom and pop resort in the Catskills, and not in a good way. It used to be owned by Cesar's ( "the real Cesar ?") which made me book the place in the first place, but now that I have stayed there, I find that unfathomable. Continua a leggere

We thoroughly enjoyed this hotel as it caters to couples. Everything is geared for couples to do. Overall, the food was good, but some of it was not nearly as delicious as I expected. Also, although the hotel is all inclusive, lunch is not served and alcoholic drinks are not included either. Some activites are include but I do not know if all activities […] are included. The rooms, though, were as amazing as they appeared online. There is tons of space and it is a great place to have a romantic getaway when you want to focus on spending time with your loved one. I took my husband here for his birthday. We stayed at the Champagne Room. We arrived late so they extended our check out until 1 pm. It was awesome! The room was so comfortable! It does need some upgrading but it was clean. The pool water was nice and warm. The food was good. There was a musician playing the "Stick". It was really romantic.
