Old building needs maintenance immediately. Broken beds, very small rooms, squeaking doors, tiny lift, no amenities in room etc, make it a bad experience. However amazing location close to HOHO stop, metro & local eateries.

Good situation (1 km to LaFayette, near metrostation, near restaurants). Good service. Lobby ok, stairs seen their best days years ago but room ok, elevator little but worked. Recently renewed bathroom. Enough warm water. Breakfast ok. On a little suspicious sidestreet but it wasn't dangerous.

The hotle Mondial should have quote as three stars Hotel

Positive notes: Hotel Mondial had a great location! Close to the Grand Rex Theater, a metro stop, the Hard Rock Cafe, and multiple Starbucks! The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. They allowed us to store our luggage before we checked in and after we checked out. Comfortable lobby to relax in. Negative notes: The carpet and stairs were very old […] and worn. There was trash in the trash cans in our room when we checked in! There were 2 twin beds instead of one big one. They over-charged us for terrible eggs and nasty coffee and some yogurt for breakfast! PROS: GREAT location within 100m from Metro station, right in the center of Paris. Free Parking as promised. CONS: Hotel is old and had dirty carpet; After a 8 hour drive all we wanted to do was flop down on the bed for a while, but when we went to our room it had not been cleaned! There was unmade beds, trash all over and stains in the toliet. They […] eventually gave us a new room but we moved a third bed into the new room by ourselves. I would stay again just for location. The elevator was not working. The staff was arguing every morning, yelling at each other in the back office. On day of departure, the receptionist forgot to call the cab as we had asked for, which caused some unnecessary stress for us, as we were heading to the airport. Bed leg was broken. One of the floors was being renovated and had wires hanging a stunk of paint. Door very hard to open. Internet didn't work. Worst of all when our cab came at 545am to take us to the airport the front door was locked and we couldn't get out!! We had to bang on several doors down stairs before some one eventually woke up

The hotel is 3 star only because of the newly renovated interiors. Service is 1 star or lower. There were 2 different receptionist during my stay and one of them was horrible. The other one was nice. I understand its Paris and English is not the first language but not hotels should not compromise on the service. When I arrived there was no water running […] in the bathroom because of the ongoing renovation on some floors. I expect the receptionist to inform me about such issues while checking in so that I do not have to come out of the shower and go down to the lobby to ask why there is no water. Also there is some special way to access the internet (specific DNS gateway, IP address) which was again, not informed in advance when I asked for the username and password for internet. Internet signal strength was not very good in the room. I will only recommend this for young travellers who only want a clean bed for some hours and can live without good internet. Not for families. Rooms appear to have been recently updated and are comfortable. The metro station is close by. Finding the place is a bit trick as it is tucked away down and around an alley. Nice location once you can find it.

After taking the Metro from the train station, trying to lug luggage and carryons up and down the stairs in the Metro, we made it to the metro stop Grand Boulevards. Walked around trying to locate the "alley way" for our hotel for two hours. After asking a taxi driver we were happy to make it to Hotel Mondial. The accomodations are great, nice euro […] breakfast for 10 euro at the time of our visit. The alley way is a bit sketchy, but we (2 older women) had no issues. Need better directions on locating this hotel, but thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay there again, now that we know how to find it. The hotel is located bang in the centre with the metro station just round the corner at 50m away. The hop on hop off bus stop is also round the corner! Private parking is in the road but they do reserve a place for you. Breakfast is nice. Clean and very spatious bedrooms and bathroom. Bathrooms have been updated. Both elevators out of order. Had to walk up 2 flights, through a total construction project on the first floor. Carpeting on the stairs was FILTHY!!! Small room. Stayed 2 nights - didn't have the breakfast but it looked OK. The people who worked there were friendly and helpful, but the hotel was depressing.

hotel satff are very friendly and helpful friendly good maners well presented al of them a big thank you it is clean everywhere spotless and parking is free and very close to all amenities i would recomend any one to go there its cheap and very good hotel

Yes the bedrooms are small, the hotel is old, but it has parking for free and its walking distance from Louvre and a lot of restaurants and pubs.

This hotel provided all that was expected. It is close to public transportation, shopping and wondereful restaurants. The rooms are basic but clean, confortable and an acceptable size for Europe travel. Staff were helpful and accomodated all our requests. We did not take the breakfast plan as such cannot comment. I have stayed at many places but this may very well have been the worst. The maids cannot even clean themselves let alone a room. The photos looked good but they are very old or a different hotel. the hotel was basic, but for the price and location it was very good. not right for everyone, but if youre looking for somewhere cheap and cheerful then this is it

The staff was VERY friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to help us with everything. The rooms themselves are a bit old, with some paint flaking off, but beds are comfy, rooms are clean, and the baths are new and nice. We arrived shortly before the official check in time, and were not allowed to check in until the EXACT check in time. We flew over from USA, were very tired and wished the hotel could have been just a little more accomodating. Even checking in half an hour early would have been appreciated, but they would not. Walking distance to the Louvre, nothing spectacular. Breakfast was less than enjoyable.

The Mondial is well located being about 200 metres from Grand Boulevardes Metro station and in a busy part of Paris with many bars, cafes and restaurants near by. Our room was adequate. We had requested a double bed but the room had three singles. The bathroom was a reasonable size. The shower was a hand held shower only. The hotel gave the impression […] that it was old and neglected. It needs some money investing in it and more effort from the management to make it a more comfortable and inviting place to stay. For example the towels in the bathroom were clean but were clearly old and had lost their softness. The bedding was clean but the mattreses were old and sagging. The rooms and corridors were in need of decoration. The vending machine in the lobby was empty. None of these criticisms are important in isolation, but together they indicate that general neglect. Just a little bit more effort could make this a much more pleasant place to stay. In summary I would look elsewhere on future visits to Paris and would not recommend the Mondial. Continua a leggere

Hotel Mondial har en topp beliggenhet. Siden den ligger i en sidegate det nesten er umulig å finne, er det så og si ikke trafikk der, og VELDIG rolig. Hotellet er "helt greit" til prisen. En får det en betaler for. Det var også helt greit renhold, vi fikk rene handklær hver dag, og byttet sengetøy annen hver dag. MEN - gardinene burde vært vasket!!!!! […] Hotellets resepsjonister var meget vennlige og imøtekommende. Kan absolutt anbefale dette til de som vil bo billig og sentralt. Continua a leggere

Vi valde hotellet för det fantastiska läget kominerat med en rimlig prisnivå. Och det var precis vad vi fick. Låt er inte skrämmas av den trista och slitna foajén för rummen är nyrenoverade och fräscha. Det är lyhört, men ingen störande trafik och gästerna är städade - så vi sov gott ändå.

Fin central beliggende i spændende kvarter tæt på metro. Hotellet er noget nedslidt og trænger til nye gulve og gulvbelægning ( tæpper)

Oppholdet var kjempefint. Fikk sett mye av Paris. Vi gikk litt feil når vi skulle finne hotellet. Viste seg at en må inn en smal gate, hvor det ofte hang endel tvilsomme folk. Hotellet virket veldig kjedelig i foajeen. Da vi nærmet oss rommet var vi enda mer skeptiske, for teppene virket både slitte og litt møkkete. Men når vi kom inn viste det seg […] at rommet ganske nylig var renovert, og fremstod som veldig bra. Rengjøringen var også plettfri. Snakket med andre på hotellet, som kunne fortelle at noen rom var nyoppusset, mens andre var mer slitt. Alt i alt veldig fin tur. Continua a leggere

La habitación (superior) justa, con pocas comodidades pero limpia. El baño pequeño, sin toallero ni repisa en ducha pero limpio. Patio interior algo abandonado. Pasillos no muy limpios. Ascensor cutre. Personal pasivo (con alguna excepción). Bien situado; en zona populosa pero muy tranquila. Buenas comunicaciones en transporte público y a pie.

Accueil très distant ! La chambre dont la propreté était à peine acceptable, couvre lits maculés de tâche !!! Personnel de service pressé de récupérer la chambre dès 10h30 et qui tambourine malgré signification de ma présence. Cependant hôtel calme et bien situé.

Für einen Kurzurlaub eingent sich das Hotel wegen seinen sehr zentrale Lage und der Parkmöglichkeiten direkt vor dem Hotel. Das Zimmer wie auch das Bad waren sauber und ruhig. Preis- Leistungsverhältnis stimmen für pariser Verhältnisse.

Dette var det kjedeligste hotell opplevelsen noen sinne, og ikke hadde jeg trodd bilder skulle kunne juge så mye.. Ille det at det så så bra ut på biødet, men hotellet var helt jævlig.

L'hotel merite pas trois etoiles. L'entree est deprimante, le desk de reception me rappelle un mauvais film, les couloirs sont couverts des tapis dechires. Les photos que vous avez sur votre site sont pure fantaisie, rien a voir avec la realite. フロントの対応はよく、お部屋も清潔です。連泊するのには少々狭いかと思いますが、居心地のよい落ち着いた内装でした。 表の通りから、ホテル正面の通りにはアーチをくぐって入るので見逃してしまいがち。グランブルーバードのメトロ１出口からは徒歩１分とホントに近く、コンビニやレストラン、カフェも多くいつでも賑わっていました。

C'est un hôtel que je ne recommanderai pas à la vue de l'évaluation que j'ai faite ci dessus. Accueil très moyen, les chambres ne sont clairement pas entretenues et l'accès à celles ci également. Salle de bains propre mais aucun charme. Petit déjà très modeste et au final cher pour la prestation. とにかく駅には近いです!! しかし、５泊しましたが、１日はベットメイキングされず、もう１日はエアコンが壊れていて寒い思いをしました。フロントに言いましたが、対応してもらえず…。。。 夜中は変な人の叫び声が聞こえてきます。あと、ホテルの前には変な人がたまっていたりします。 あと、朝の７時過ぎにホテルを出ようとしたらフロントには誰もおらず、ホテルの鍵は閉まっていたので、朝早く出掛けるときは事前にフロントにいった方がいいですよー♪

Ok hotell for priset vi betalade. Se till att ni får ett av de nyrenoverade rummen. litet men rent och fräscht och bra sängar. Vi fick först ett äldre rum men bytte och det var vidstor skillnad.

bookede hotellet i sidste øjeblik inden afrejse, synes at værelserne så pæne ud på billederne, men sikke en skuffelse. Vi har boet på rigtig mange hoteller men det her var absolut det dårligste man kunne forstille sig. Badeværlset var ok rent, men resten af værlset og hotellet var så snavset at man havde lyst til at bade i rodalon hver aften. Værlset […] var så lille at man næsten skulle bakke ind, for ikke tale om loftshøjden. Det virkede som om at man har lavet to etager for hver oprindelig etage. Og man kan glemme alt om wifi på værlset, det virker kun i lobby. Hotellet har 3 stjerne, fair nok man kan ikke forvente meget af 3 stjernet hotel. Hotel épouvantable!!! Tapis sales, forte odeurs d'humidité, bruit de goutte d'eau, serviettes sales, forte chaleur dans la chambre sans pouvoir la contrôler ( chauffage central) bref, nuit terrible!!! À éviter absolument Martin C Canada

チェックインの時に部屋に入ると香水の匂いがした。お部屋の掃除が滞在中はない。シーツを変えてほしいと言っても変えた状態でない。帰国便に合わせて　空港に送迎する車を頼んでいたら　ホテルのフロント係が毎日変わるので　チェックせずにダブルブッキングになり慌てて１社を取り消していた。その折また請求されそうになってびっくりしました。 でもお部屋は改造してあり広くてゆっくりできた。ホテルの雰囲気はゆったりしていたけど広間のミラーが割れていた。私の部屋はバスタブはなくシャワーのみでした。ホテルのフロントは部屋の電話の料金を詳しく説明しなかった。　

Vi hadde store forhåpninger til dette hotellet da vi hadde betalt litt ekstra for fasiliteter ingen andre kunne tilby, og vi ble veldig skuffet. Ikke forvent noe som helst ekstra her! Det positive som kan nevnes er at hotellet ligger OK til i en stille sidegate med kort vei til metro og nærme restauranter, puber og shopping. Rommene er fine og nyoppusset, […] men likevel ikke spesielt rene. Aircondition som fungerer er et pluss. Servicen på hotellet er dårlig, personalet er lite villig til å hjelpe til når problemer oppstår. I følge vår bestilling skulle det følge med en flaske Champagne på rommet. Andre fasiliteter som safe, hårføner og internett var også avgjørende for at vi valgte dette hotellet. Rommet vi fikk manglet lyspærer i flere av lampene, hadde verken safe eller hårføner, og i kjøleskapet stod det en åpnet og halvfull flaske champagne. Da vi klagde til resepsjonen sa de at alt skulle fikses dagen etter, men ingenting skjedde. Champagnen så vi ikke noe til. Safe kunne vi låne mot et depositum, men de hadde ingen safer til overs. Internettdekningen var dårlig, og fungerte ikke i det hele tatt inne på rommet. Generelt fikk vi et dårlig inntrykk av hotellet, og kommer ikke til å anbefale det videre. Continua a leggere

Hotel vétuste, j'ai refusé les 2 premières chambres qui m'ont été proposées, le papier peint ne tenait plus aux murs noircis par l'humidité. La moquette tachée, une odeur insupportable. Attention surtout évitez le 6 et 7 étage, réservés à la clientèle qui réserve sur Internet.

Chambres trop petites, lit inconfortables, escaliers peu propres
