La colazione era poco varia e scarsa. Poco attenti alla pulizia dei tavoli nei cambi degli ospiti durante la colazione. La camera confortevole e pulizia giornaliera con cambio asciugamani e lenzuola a giorni alterni.

L'hotel 17 è un'ottima scelta per un soggiorno a New York, con un eccellente rapporto qualità rapporto/prezzo. La posizione è tra i suoi pregi migliori, logisticamente comodo per spostarsi anche a piedi sia verso il nord che verso il sud di manhattan, e il quartiere offre una vasta scelta di ristoranti e locali per cene e colazioni. Le camere sono abbastanza grandi e pulite, il bagno condiviso non lo abbiamo praticamente mai trovato occupato e sempre pulito.

L'hotel è nuovo e si trova in una buona posizione, a due passi dal Madison Square Garden e da Times square. La camera era grande ed i letti molto comodi. Uniche due pecche significative sono state, la wifi in camera funziona molto male (meglio nella lobby) e il pavimento che non è mai stato lavato (i calzini antiscivolo delle bambine erano neri dopo 5 minuti). Inoltre non vengono forniti accessori da bagno tipo le cuffie per fare la doccia.

Bellissima permanenza, punto ideale per visitare la città collegatissimo e a due passi dalla 5th. Camera non enorme ma comfortevole, sempre pulita e molto curata nell'arredamento. Albergo ad altissimo livello, se avete qualche soldino da spendere andateci. Enjoy NYC

Come definisci un boutique hotel? Se ti vengono in mente parole come "creativo", "elegante" e "originale", il Royalton, A Morgans Original, potrebbe essere il posto ideale. Il Royalton unisce insieme la più avanzata esperienza dei boutique hotel con un'ubicazione centrale privilegiata e un servizio stellare. Le scintillanti luci di Broadway e Times Square sono a meno di 2 isolati. Al Rockefeller Center, 3 isolati a nord, sali con l'ascensore fino al ponte di osservazione del Top of the Rock per godere delle incredibili vedute della città e oltre. Bryant Park, 2 isolati a sud del Royalton, è un'oasi centrale con chioschi di ristoro 'wichcraft, una pista di pattinaggio durante l'inverno e un carosello francese quando il clima si riscalda. La New York Public Library è adiacente al parco. Assicurati di visitarla all'interno: gli interni della biblioteca sono tanto impressionanti quanto l'esterno.

Se vuoi ritirarti in camera, l'hotel offre anche un servizio in camera, disponibile dalle prime ore del mattino fino a notte tarda. Il centro fitness ha una conveniente pianificazione di 24 ore e macchine cardio dotate di TV singole. Un centro business aperto 24 ore su 24 si trova in loco.
Philippe Starck, una leggenda del moderno design, ha ideato un look originale per le camere del Royalton. La ristrutturazione del 2007 dell'hotel include decorazioni aggiornate da Charlotte Macaux, pupilla di Starck. hotel molto ben arredato e superiore alla media. sia le camere (bagni belli) che l'ingresso sono da vedere. Avevamo l'aereo sul tardi e ci hanno dato la possibilità di utilizzare una camera per una doccia: grande ospitalità!

Great hotel, great service. The hallways are narrow and dark, but the rooms were large and roomy. The rooms were clean and looked newly renovated. Just two blocks from Times Square. Great place great hotel. Definitely recommend.

The service at the Royalton was great - the iPad in your room to request turn down service or room service or other services is a HUGE plus. We really enjoyed our stay.

Up until this visit, I didn't even know the Royalton existed. What a pleasant surprise! Small but functional and comfortable room with all of the amenities. And the desk staff! So pleasant and accommodating! Will definitely return.

"Royalton mid town"
Great, stylish hotel, in a very convenient location. Only two problems: very dark - all lights are dimmed, to the point that you can't see what floors to press in the elevator. also, the HVAC is very loud.

My room was a little small. The bathrooms were basic (walk in shower, no tub). The location is awesome. The bar/restaurant downstairs looked like a great place to get something to drink/eat. Too bad I only stayed one night. Overall, not a bad place to stay.

We stayed here for one night and it was very nice. Apparently one of the first in the new "boutique" hotels. Very dark on the inside, cool lobby and bar. We were there on Saturday and no one was really in the lobby but I here it's a popular place to get a drink and hang out during the week. The rooms are very nice, modern, and include an iPad for some […] services. Overall a good stay, but a little pricey and the service was good but not great. "Great Location - Hip Hotel"
Very good room with a balcony that overlooked 44th St. (one of only six). Room had unique style that was very user friendly. Very little room for toiletries in the bathroom, but outstanding shower. Lobby is dark and sometimes loud at night with lots of bar action, but hostess at the entry of the lobby to take you to the guest services was very nice […] and a helpful touch. Great location. "My most relaxing stay in NY"
I travel to NY frequently for business but this was my first stay at The Royalton. I will be back for sure. I was lucky to get upgraded to a larger room than I've ever had in NY - which was great because I was there for 3 nights. Made my entire trip so much easier and less stressful. The staff was amazing, location is excellent - close to mid-town activity […] and convenience but off the main path so it's very quiet. Love the Malin & Goetz products, yumm. "location, location, location"
The last time I was in NYC, I stayed in upper west side. This location was ten times better. And the lady behind the counter was great she upgraded my room to a bigger room. And I loved, loved the shower. I would take two a day. And there were so many kosher restaurants around which made things so much easier for me.

"Great location, good service, but dark, dark, dark"
Love this hotel but beware that the interior is very subterranean. Great for evenings, not so for a sunny spring day. Rooms also dark with grey walls and few lights. That said, everything else was great so if you're a creature of the night you'll love it!

This was my first stay at Royalton NYC and I will absolutely stay there again. Great location for my needs, trendy atmosphere, clean rooms,wifi and the best water pressure in shower ever! Talk about a great way to end a busy day...

As previous guests have stated the Hotel is underlit especially the bathrooms. The tile floors are extremely cold and no scuffs were provided (unbelievable for this price range and rating). Air conditioning makes a racket all night both that inside the room and the enormous thing outside my window in the so called "room with a view" courtyard. Food […] was dreadful. I had the impression that the Royalton would prefer to be a bar. A true original indeed. There are many other far, far better choices in the area, in fact, in the same street. It was like walking into a ultra posh club/restuarant and then being able to go to your room when your done. Really special and gorgeous room. Very roomy for the city. Would reccommend to anyone.

The Royalton is a decent option for accommodation in Midtown. Pretty close to everything you need, with Grand Central and Bryan Park subways within easy walking distance. We stayed for a weekend in Jan 2012 and the hotel condition and room were both fine. The bed was not too comfortable (rock hard, actually) and the room, like most NYC rooms, wasn't […] very big but for us it was fine since we spent most of our time outside. It was noisy outside in the street in the early hours of the morning which affected our sleep a little but for two nights we could deal with it., Overall this hotel is OK. "Xmas in NYC"
The hotel was beautiful. The rooms so clean and modern. The location could not have been better. Definitly a spot near everything. Rooom service was quick and delicious.Definitly recommend to others who want to be within walking distance of just about everything Christmas cool in NYC.

"Royalton"
It was the first time I have stayed there and I was not expecting much after having to pull my own luggage up the front steps and navigate a noisy lobby to find registration. However, I ended up very impressed. My room was beautiful and well laid out. Room service dinner came immediately and was delicious. All at a fair price.

"Everything we wanted"
The hotel was fantastic. In a great location and our room was extremely quiet. The room was very clean and spacious. The staff were lovely and very helpful. We would choose this hotel again no question.

"Great location and service"
The hotel is located in an ideal location only a couple of minutes walk away from Times Square and 5th Avenue. The hotel staff are all very friendly and willing to help if required. Definately would recommend the hotel. :D

Great weekend at the Royalton. Location was perfect. Staff were great, they treated you like royalty. Would go back again. Room was spacious and clean.

"Lovely hotel great location"
I had only one problem with the hotel and that is the picture on hotels.com showed a big red door when I arrived there was no big red door there was a big door but it was black other than that it was one of the best hotels I ever stayed at oh one more thing itbwas a bit pricey so be prepared to spend some money (giggles)
"Royalton in New York City"
The hotel was very good. Nice atmosphere and great location. Unfortunately, the rooms were a bit small and the air condition units were particularly noisy. The lifts were somewhat unreliable. Finally the bar at the hotel is a bit pricey (particularly the beer).

The hotel deserves it's 4 stars. It is very nice, modern, clean and perfectly located in midtown Manhattan. The rooms are very comfortable, and the showers are amazing. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The only issues we had were the elevators being extremely slow, but they did leave a note in the room saying they were working on improving that, […] so that shouldn't be an issue in the future. Also, it would have been nice to have a coffee machine in the room. Most hotels have these and provide complimentary coffee to their guests. Other than those two minor things, the hotel was great. "Amazing Hotel In an amazing location"
Only one word can describe this hotel immaculate. The hotel was spotless,well-designed and in a great location. The room was extremely well designed and comfortable not to mention clean. The bed was so soft I didn't want to go home the next day. Prob the nicest room I have stayed in period... I mean come one it came with an iPad. The bar at the bottom […] of the hotel was a great place to start an end the night great drinks. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in NY. Ps that I stayed in a suit .... "Royalton"
I've stayed at this hotel before and it seems like it is in need of a makeover. It's still a great hotel with a great lobby/bar. However, carpets are fading and it doesn't look as clean and edgy as it used to. Overall though everyone was very friendly at the hotel and it's in a prime location for getting around to some of the major NYC attractions.

Royalton is in a great location with a helpful staff and a warm to hot environment. The room was great very modern seeming brand new. You can walk uptown and around from there with ease.

"Swanky and Sophisticated"
The Royalton greets you with unassuming front door that automatically opens into a cosmopolitan lobby and bar lounge. The staff was helpful and the rooms are nicely appointed. It's quite expensive, but the location in midtown really cannot be beat. Our room, with queen bed was modern and sleek, but with annoying bathroom features, such as no bath, limited […] counter space, a weird place for the facial soap and poor lighting. But the shower was great and spacious. Also, it does annoy me that there is no refrigerator space for your own beverages and that you have to call down for ice and there's no self-serve ice option. My final complaint are the elevators: slow, small and sterile in lighting and design. However, we did enjoy our stay, as the beds were comfortable, the TV and iPad were nice touches and the bar made you feel like you were in a cool NYC locale - which we were. Continua a leggere
Had stayed here many times. Great hotel. Great location. New room color was disappointing (preferred the white before) but room continues to be very nice. Speedy of response from staff, on a couple of quick requests, was less than optimal. But friendliness and overall service were good. Recommend.

Great location. Modern, techy. Do not take comfort room, it includes a "mirror cabinet" which eats the room size not really addid value. Restourant and bar are overpriced. Barkeepers are losing interest to you if you are after a bier only.

"The Royalton NYC - 4 star lounge 2.5 star room"
The lobby / lounge area is excellent. Always people enjoying the trendy atmosphere. The elevator and hallways are very narrow. The hallway smelled of smoke. My room had a view of a fire escape. The rooms are small, the bed is hard and there is only a shower (no bath). The room was clean and the hotel is very near 5th Avenue shopping and Broadway. Excellent […] location and if you just need a clean, convenient place to sleep while you party...you will love this place!
