Da apprezzare la gentilezza dello staff, l'ottima colazione e la vicinanza con la metro. Si raggiungono facilmente a piedi anche i musei Reina Sofia e Prado. Ottimo il minibar gratuito. Ma attenzione agli extra, sono un po' cari. Per il resto camera pulita e soprattutto silenziosa, cosa non scontata a Madrid. Consigliatissimo.

L'hotel ha soddisfatto a pieno tutte le mie esigenze,era pulito moderno,con una dotazione di comfort in camera molto buona. Inoltre i prezzi dei servizi presso la hall erano buoni. La sua ubicazione nei pressi della stazione della metropolitana di Atocha permetteva di potersi muovere velocemente in tutta la città. Albergo molto bello e in posizione molto buona. Situato vicino alla principale stazione ferroviaria consente di raggiungere con comodità ogni angolo della città e le vicine città come Toledo, Segovia, etc. Reina Sofia e Prado sono a pochi passi. Leggermente defilato rispetto alla Gran Via, comunque raggiungibile a piedi con una passeggiata di 15 minuti, ma vicinissimo alla metro Atocha, alla stazione ferroviaria ( da utilizzare in caso di gitarelle con il treno Renfe ad alta velocità, noi siamo stati nella stupenda Toledo e a Segovia a 70 e 90 km di distanza, percorsi in 30 minuti a 18 euro […] a/r ), al museo Reina Sofia, al Prado e al Parco del Retiro. Hotel moderno. La stanza è veramente grande: ampio ingresso alla stanza, camera da letto e bagno; pulitissima, accogliente e calda. Hotel ben posizionato, vicino alla fermata della metropolitana e alla stazione dei treni di Atocha. comodo da raggiungere dall'aeroporto utilizzando i bus navetta. I Musei sono veramente a due passi. l'hotel non è in posizione centralissima, (2 fermate della metro da piazza Sol) ma con una passeggiata di circa 20 minuti si raggiunge tranquillamente […] il centro storico. La stanza era sufficientemente ampia, ben attrezzata, pulita e arredata a nuovo. l'utilizzo del frigobar è gratuito. bagno con vasca e doccia molto funzionale. unica nota stonata le camere al primo piano che si affacciano sulla strada principale non sono perfettamente insonorizzate e si sente il rumore del traffico sottostante. Great hotel. We used the airporter bus to go from the airport to the train station, then a short, easy 5-10 minute walk to the hotel. We arrived at the hotel around 10:30 AM and they let us into our room.Took a nap, then explored Madrid. The beds are a firmer mattress on an elevated platform, but not uncomfortable. Room was clean, quiet (6th floor) […] and the bath was huge. Watch out, however, where you aim the shower head as the shower door is only a "half door" of glass and you can easily soak the floor outside the shower.Toiletries were included along with a hair dryer that worked just fine for my long hair. There are 3 ATMs for various banks adjacent to the hotel (across a side street), and metro stations both at the train station and one even more convenient only a 2-block walk south of the hotel. There are also lots of small markets and bodegas to buy some snacks or bottled waters (very inexpensive at these markets). The breakfast buffet was excellent. Eggs and various types of ham/bacon, fruit, pastries, coffee, tea and fresh squeezed jiuces. Worth paying a little more for the breakfast included when you book your room ahead. Also, unlike some reviewers, we found the staff very pleasant, although there can be a long trying to check out if you are arriving around 10 AM (as we did) and the staff can be a little harried. The hotel was just as advertised for our needs. It was quick and easy walk from the Atocha train station, and walking distance of the central city park (Parque del Retiro) and into the central part of town -- we walked to Plaza Mayor and Plaza del Sol for dinner. The room was clean and modern, though travellers from the US may find it a little on the […] small side, though not overly so -- our bedroom was about 13x11 feet. We didn't try the breakfast, so we can't comment on that. However, there was a really great bakery/pastry shop about halfway up the street towards the station, on the left as you head from the station to the hotel. They got me with the Marriott name in the title - but not up to Marriott standards - very small and noisy rooms (the floors and ceiling must be make of very thin paper! very nice clean well run hotel, well heated was very cold in madrid during our stay. reception staff were very nice and helpfull and spoke good english, julian was really helpful with a trip we had bboked and in making sure our bags had a place to stay after we checked out on are last day, breakfast buffett was of a good standard with a good choice […] of hot and cold food, coffee was good and pleasant place to eat. hotel in a good position for railway station and park, art centres and only a 30 min walk to to city centre, situated on a main road but well insulated from traffic noise, many places to eat in area of hotel inc a really nice little chinese a block away, there is a well stocked supermarket just down the raod and many smaller shops, really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The hotel and facilities are great. Only downside is the loud road that has a stoplight with racing traffic all night long. I've stayed on the 4th floor and the 8th floor. The higher up you go, the better.

Very disappointing experience. The hotel does not deserve more than two stars. To begin with, when we checked in, there was nothing to wash with. After a request for soap, we were give two extra containers of shampoo, and two containers of shower gel, which is not very convenient to wash hands. One of the pillows was smelly, nothing bad, an obnoxious […] perfume most likely, but still very unpleasant to use. But the worst thing was the noise. We could hear people on the floor above walking, people behind the wall using their bathroom, trucks on the street - as though the entire hotel was build of cardboard. This hotel was a good price and extremely well kept. I really liked the hotel and room a lot, but there were a couple things that were annoying and would prevent me from giving it a 5 star review. First was the fact the the hotel was listed as providing free wifi. When I got there, I found this was true, but ONLY in the lobby/lounge. If you want WIFI […] in you're room, you need to pay and extra fee. I felt this was an unnecessary annoyance. They also have safes in the room, but it was not at all clear how to use it. It had a large key hole in the front that would certainly imply a large key was needed (which I was not provided). I didn't bother to ask about it since I assumed there was an extra charge for that as well. Usually the room safes I've used have a combination with instructions how to set it. Other than that, a couple small things that I must admit that I knew when I booked it. Breakfast was not included. When I asked about an airport shuttle, I was told that they didn't provide that. Fair enough, but if they don't have a shuttle service, it would have been nice if they provided a list of services that could be hired and perhaps even offered to book it. Continua a leggere

Overall good experience for the price. The hotel is well located close to the Prado Museum and the metro. You are at a walking distance of restaurants. Hotel is well kept, modern and overall good service. Great breakfast!

Good hotel. Just one block from the train station and the airport shuttle. Lots of local bars and restauratns around. Nice clean rooms, a little larger than average size (for Madrid). However, it is 2 metro stops from the historic downtown, or a 15 min walk.

I discovered the AC hotels on recent trip to Spain. Good quality overall but be warned, no internet access outside of lobby. Cost 18 euros to add to room, which is a major inconvenence when traveling. That said, room while small was well done, very inexpensive, very close to train station (2 blocks) and close to all attractions in madrid (easy walk […] to all major attractions). Unfortunately I also go room in back of hotel next to maid station and was noisy. Not sure if they give this to hotel.com guests or not. The hotel is great! It is very clean and modern and the location is good. It is near the Atocha Renfe station which is where you can catch trains to go to other cities or simply catch the Metro. My wife and I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights during our brief stay in Madrid, we would stay here again. my only real complaint is rather than having 1 king/queen […] bed, they pushed together two twin sized beds. The beds were on wheels on a wood floor. So a few times the beds started rolling apart and my wife almost fell through. This hotel is in a perfect central location easily accessible via Metro. The rooms nicely decorated, quiet, modern, comfortable, stylish. Very helpful and efficient staff.Only drawback is the rather pricey in-room Wifi @ EUR 18 per day but there is free Wifi in the lobby and ground floor areas.Perfect for business and leisure traveler.

The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. We chose the hotel due to the close proximity to the train station as we had to take the train the next morning. We were able to walk to the station with our luggage which was great. The area is lively and interesting, lots of places for tapas and people watching. Hotel room was clean but while we stayed, they did not sweep the room nor changed the bedsheet once even though we stayed for 4 nights. This was a fabulous hotel and perfect for our needs. The cleanliness, polish, and the efficiency with which the rooms were set up is perfect. Most of the gentlemen working the front desk were fabulous, but one in particular seemed a little put out when we asked for advice around the city. Bartenders and servers were great!

Very comfortable hotel close to three different metro stops. 15 to 20 minute walk from the heart of the city. 10 minute walk from the famous Prado museum. Hotel is a short walk from the station with good access by metro or train to all areas of Madrid. Reception staff were helpful, and our room was large and clean, with a huge bathroom with a spa tub also! Mini bar drinks were free, but buffet breakfast not included, which suited us fine as we just grabbed breakfast at a nearby cafe. Loved my stay here. Great location near reina Sophia an the atocha metro stop. The staff were very accommodating and sweet and the free mini bar was a big plus! I travelled alone and am a single woman and I found the area to be safe. Only con is the price of the wifi 17 euro a day is a bit ridiculous! But it is free in the lobby!
