"Dirty and Poorly Maintained"
This hotel was a huge disappointment! There was mold on the bathroom ceiling and paint peeling from the bedroom ceiling. The shower curtain smelled of mildew and yellow stains were inside the toilet bowl. The towels were old, thin and non-absorbent and the comforters looked as if they had not been cleaned in a while. The hotel wasn't near anything except […] the highway. So, if you're just looking for a place to crash for a night, go down the highway a couple more miles as there are a few hotels off the highway. Perfect for what we needed. This was a stop over in route to PA. Bed was very comfy.
I would not recommend this motel unless in a pinch. The bedspreads had cigarette burns in them. The sheets not only didn't stay on the bed but had small tears throughout. There was a lot of mold on the bathroom ceiling. The fan in the bathroom did not work correctly and was very noisey. The pillows were flat. You needed three to equal to one regular. […] The extra price we paid for continnetal breakfast was not work it. Very limited selection. Toaster broken. Guest bathroom was awful. Smelled. No soap dispener. Not so cheap, poorly cleaned and maintained. Broken air conditioning, room service only a short part of the morning. Breakfast extermely poor, with the responsible turning off the lights to the guests leave because she wanted to clean up the buffet that closed at 10:00 AM, and it was 9:40 AM! "An OK stay"
I stayed overnight at Days Inn Port Jervis so I could visit Milford and Raymondskill Falls. The location was fine, close to the interstate. Quiet surroundings. Check in was pretty quick considering a recent power outage due to snow storm. Room was adequate. Fairly clean. Comfortable bed. Clean bathroom and linens. Very nice continental breakfast with […] waffles. Very friendly staff. Only complaint was a very loud heater fan and the room wasn't particularly warm even with heat set at highest setting. It was a covenient location just off the highway,but I was a little disappointed with the room. The remote for tv didn't work correctly, the heater was loud and there was black mold in the bathroom around the fixtures. The door to room didn't close properly and had to be slammed, I guess they were all like that as I heard a lot of door slamming that […] evening. The lounge was closed and no food available there either. I guess you get what you pay for but I was very disappointed that there was no frig or microwave in the rooms. "It should be a 1 star hotel..."
You do get what you pay for. The hotel was in the middle of nowhere – it was hard to find in the dark (not a single light on the road.) The staff was quite unfriendly. Our room had a weird odor. The furniture and (most importantly) the mattresses were of the cheapest kind. My bed wasn’t exactly comfortable – it was crooked on one side. The ceiling had […] yellowish spots all over it. The common areas are filthy disgusting. If you decide to have breakfast – I suggest that you go early. The first morning the orange juice was spoiled. I found a dead fly in my apple juice. This hotel would have been rated better if it had been clean. The hallways were very dirty with crumbs and dirt and whatever else. Hallway lighting was poor making it very dark. Stairways were the same maybe even more dirty my daughter was pointing out the cobwebs. The room itself could have been cleaner. The bathroom had a mat stuck down in the tub, […] probably covering missing enamel. I choose to give my daughter a shower. Breakfast was free and should be as it is just a few doughnuts and cereal, staff comes through and eats prior to working. WiFi doesn't work in the rooms and we couldn't get cell reception either. Plus:Rooms clean, overall well maintained. Do accept pets. Minus: the bar/lounge not open on Sat. night; swimming pooll not open and could not sit at poolside tables even if not swimming. Restaurants a distance away. (Chinese & Italaian delivery available)

I found that the hallways were never vacumed during my three stays there. There was litter and screws in the hallways. The continental breakfast ran out of food way before closing time and were not replenished.
"Spend the $ for better"
Hotel is old and filthy, and I do not have high standards. Pool was closed Memorial Weekend. Trash was left out in bags overnight. Temperature exceeded 80 degrees in hallways and lobby. There was some sort of patch on our ceiling and bugs/moths were flying in the room. Location is good and breakfast was ok.

"Don't Be Fooled By the Lobby"
When you first walk in to this hotel you think it can't be that bad. But it is. The hallway carpets were falling apart and looked like they hadn't seen a vaccuum since they were first put down. The continental breakfast consisted of two english muffins and an apple. There wasn't even coffee. The pool was without water and looked like it had been that way for a while. "Cold and Dingy"
The lobby was cold, the entire motel was dingy, and our room was freezing. It took 4 hours for our room to warm up.

"Not recommended AT ALL"
Our check-in experience was fine and the desk clerk was pleasant. Our room, however, was a nightmare. The two beds were completely different and neither of them was comfortable. One bed was hard as rock and the other was very springy and lumpy...I felt like Goldilocks. The doorknob to the bathroom kept falling off. The faucet knob to the sink would […] not stay on and we had to replace it every time we put the water on. We had three of us staying in the room. My elderly mother wanted to take a shower after check-in (we arrived around 8 P.M.), but there were two sets of towels only and our reservation was for 3 people. The desk clerk said we would have to wait until morning to get more towels because they were all in the wash! The room smelled VERY stale and musty, and was worse when we put the air conditioner on. The TV had a few channels, but it didn't matter because the remote did not work. The breakfast was the best thing about our stay. They did have a nice variety of frresh fruits, cereals, breads and muffins, and you could make your own waffle. Overall, I would not recommend staying here. My family reunion was near here and that is why we needed to stay close. I made reservations for this place because there were 4 reviews previous to my booking it and they seemed positive....huh? Stay away. If you have to go outside of Port Jervis to have a pleasant night's sleep, it is worth the extra mileage you would have to drive in order to avoid this place. Continua a leggere
"Good value"
This hotel is a Day's Inn so you can't expect too much. I stayed at this hotel twice this summer. Each time, the room was clean. The pool was acceptable, the kids enjoyed it. Breakfast was good and included fresh waffles. All in all, a good value for the money.
Shower drained very sloe. reported it to the front desk. No change the next morning.
