My expectations were minimal but this hotel turned out to be a very good value. Though we thought it was only average in cleanliness and condition (getting a little worn) the staff was very good and the location was perfect for using it as a base to get around the North side of Albuquerque. The man at the front desk was very helpful, and courteous, upon check-in. Let me know about breakfast, the pool, and check-out time. The room was a bit run down, but the pool was warm and the hot tub, hot. There was plenty of hot water in the morning for showers and the pressure was great, and things were clean. Hotel was near food, gas, and the freeway. […] My daughter and I were traveling alone and I like that gas and food were right next door! The hotel was very run down and dirty. I ended switching rooms from the first floor to the second floor. The room's deadbolt did not work, the couch in the room had stains on it, the comforter had other people's hair on it and the bath mat had a brown stain on it. I believe that you get what you pay for here. In my opinion it is worth the extra $20 […] to stay at the comfort inn across the street. I stayed there on my way home and it was MUCH nicer! Reserved the junior suite for my son and his mother, they seemed to enjoy it. Heard the jacuzzi tub was a nice bonus as well. Breakfast ends at 9 ** keep thst in mind, no real sleeping in

Hotel used to be a Ramada Limited. Older hotel, but VERY clean. Rooms smelled clean when we entered. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location-right off the interstate and in the same parkinglot as gas station and chain fast food. They have breakfast...danishes,coffee,and oatmeal...not a hot breakfast. Definately will stay there again.

We chose this hotel because of the price. The staff was nice and the room had been cleaned, but I won't stay there again. I will pay the extra money and stay at the Holiday Inn right next door which is nicer. You could hear everything that happened all night long, the continental breakfast consisted of cereal, muffins, or frozen waffles. Only a 2 story hotel, but they should still have an elevator as it is very difficult to bring heavy luggage upstairs. Breakfast was very bland and simple. They didn't even carry yogurt. When checking in, the worker was more concerned about ordering a pizza then to finish checking me in.

My girlfriend wanted a hotel with a hot tub, and I didn't want to spend a lot of money. This was the best deal with an indoor pool and hot tub, not to mention a sauna. We happened to get the wheelchair-accessible room, which was huge. Both clerks were very helpful, especially day clerk; very professional.

This hotel was very run down and in terrible need of upgrade. We had several problems, the phone did not work, the security latch on the door was broke and there was no hot water in the evenings, dead batteries for the TV. The staff however was incredible and addressed all issues immediately.I would never recommend the pool or hot tub, as my wife and […] I changed our minds after looking at them. Hotel needs some updating and new towels, they were awful. Could not use, because they were all worn and thin. Breakfast was cold boxed waffles, bread (toast) and cereal, had to go else were to eat. Hot tub was very small and ackward shaped and not really hot. Bed was very hard, overall not worth the money. Great location. Easy access to highway and sights. Hotel could use some updating, wall paper peeling, electrical sockets loose, ice machine broken, some towels threadbare.

We wanted to be in area of the annual Balloon Fiesta and this motel is as close as any. It is an older motel, but clear and comfortable. The personnel at the dest, specifically Reissa and Larry, went far beyond what is normally expected to be helpful to us! We comment them to upper level management with the highest commendation. This property was a Ramada Inn just the week before our stay and was under new management. We were disappointed in its condition. Our room had clean sheets, but had clean but old towels,and had not been vaccumed before we got there.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel. It was an excellent value. My only negative comment regards the towels. The condition of the towels was atrocious! They were thin, yellow and generally "worn out". Also, the room was not dusted in a while.

Friendly staff & a good location right off the freeway. I was hesitant because of previous reviews before the ownership transition, but it exceeded my expectations. Room was comfy, clean and spacious, but the hotel needs some maintenance & updating overall.

Upon arriving for check-in there were 4 people ahead of us, two people behind the desk, and two managers floating around. The manager said hello then walked away. The second person behind the desk never said hello to anyone even though there was a line. The one person helping the first person in line took FOREVER to get that group checked in and all […] the while there were three able bodied people who could have at least acknowleded the people in line or helped to get the rest of us checked in. This left me lots of time to notice how gruungy the lobby was. When we arrived in our room the smell of cleaning chemicals was so overpowering we opened the window (thank goodness we could) and left the room to go about our business, noticing on the way out that one of the headboards was falling off the wall. When we arrived, this hotel had a Ramada Limited sign outside. In the morning, they were removing the sign and replacing it with an America's Best Inn and Value Suites sign. There are bleach stains all over the hallway carpets, and missing patches of carpet that they have taped random carpets into the holes. Our room looked like it was missing furniture, […] the side doors outside to the parking lot do not secure, and there was no trash can in our room. The hot tub was green, and the indoor pool was a milky color and had a lot of sand in the bottom of it. How does this happen in an indoor pool? We may have just stayed during a change in ownership, so it might improve. One good thing I will say, the bed was very comfy and they provided a ton of pillows! Continua a leggere

I travel often, this room was the most disgusting I have ever stayed in. I would advise against staying there.

I hadn't even been there 5 hours and we had to call the front desk 5 times! The first room, we get our stuff in, turn around and the bed wasn't even made! They moved us to the room next door - bed made Yeah! Then we come to find out the tub hadn't been cleaned - hairs all over it! As I was cleaning it so that I could try to bath my toddler - notice […] black mold in the jets of the tub. I was afraid to even put him in there. When the front desk clerk brought us towels ( an item the cleaning crew was afraid to leave any of) I had to show him. He even commented that was unacceptable! Counters were disgusting - The coffee pot still has coffee in it! - Yes from a PREVIOUS guest!! I'm glad I brought my son his own sheets and bed cause I would be afraid to let him sleep in here. this hotel was old and totally not worth the money. we could have stayed at a newer hotel down the street for the same amount. they do not have hot breakfast. it was frozen waffles you put in a toaster. the bed...omg...it was a king size bed and we both slept in the crack in the middle. you couldnt sleep on one side or the other you slid into the center. […] the tv was snowy. no reception. there was shattered glass in the parking lot. should have been a clue to get our money back and leave!!!!! the next morning after our frozen waffles getting ready to get back on the road, there wasnt any hot water!!!!!! had to take a cold shower after a miserable night trying to sleep on a slope and when we told the manager guy that was outside when we were leaving that there wasnt any hot water he said due to the number of hotels in the area at that hour nobody has hot water! BS ive stayed just down the street at the hilton garden and they had hot water every time ive been there. this was just a horrible experience. and this being Ramada i was very disappointed! The hotel from the outside looks nice, the staff seem nice as well. However the hotel is in pretty bad shape. The hot tub had a really big chuck of hair floating in it and we couldn't see the bottom of the pool as it was pretty dirty. The room was dingy and the carpet was in bad shape too. My family and I have stayed at this hotel numerous times and have always been more than happy with its accomidations! However, with this stay it seems that the hotel is going down hill in a BIG hurry. Examples....1) When we checked into our room for this stay the floor was horribly dirty and one of the comforters on the bed had a huge hole in it. 2) […] When we checked in Friday to the hotel we went straight to the pool. The pool was wonderful but the hot tub was an ice cube tub! We told the front desk staff and they said the problem should be fixed by morning. When we departed Sunday afternoon, it was still not working. Now I understand things happen, but how about putting up a sign or something? 3) The Cont. Breakfast use to be amazing. This time, there was cereal, old looking fruit, juice, milk, and coffee. What happened to the pancakes, rolls, etc that was once available? 4) We wake up Sunday morning to not a single person in the hotel having hot water to shower with. YUCK!! When we checked out there wasn't an "I'm sorry" or nothing. Just pay up and go! Need-less-to-say, we will not be staying there again! So let down in the way the hotel has gone... Continua a leggere

It was the day after New Years Eve and we just wanted to relax with a good diner after partying and gambling the night before. The hotel staff recomended a very fun restaurant with great food. All in all I would stay there again. Very satisfied.

The Hotel was right off the highway, close to many restaurants, the price was excellant for the Holidays. The pool & spa were inside, so I was able to make use of them. A very nice breakfast in the morning. We were very happy with our stay.

The first impression of our stay was not very positive as we were given a room on the second floor in the very back. My boyfriend was limping due to a foot injury, and there were no elevators or even entrances close to our room. (Turns out that there was a close entrance, but the person working the front desk must have not known about it - I found it […] later). The room itself is comfortable, but not the cleanest. And it is important to know that if you visit this hotel for more than 1 night, you must request maid service. It will not be provided automatically and the staff will not tell you that upon check in. The breakfast is very basic, but adequate for the value. Service: the gentleman who works late nights, early mornings, is not very pleasant. The first morning we were there, we came in the front door after walking the dog. My boyfriend went to go get food while I stood off of the lobby with the dog, and then we switched, keeping our animal away from the food area. He still felt it was necessary to come over and tell me that our dog wasn't allowed over there - was he not paying attention to what we were doing to avoid that? Or was he just being a jerk? (I lean towards the second option here) When I went to check out, he opened the front door (locked for safety) just enough to take my room keys and then closed the door. Hope they didn't expect payment for my pet staying there, because when I checked in, I offered my credit card and they told me they didn't need it, and when I checked out, he couldn't be bothered to talk to me, so I guess that will be my compensation for a somewhat frustrating experience. If you are looking for a cheap place to stay, close to the highway, with a comfortable bed - this hotel will work for you. If you have higher expectations - go somewhere else. Continua a leggere

Right off the interstate and easy to find. Easy access to freeway, yet not noisy.

We have stayed here several times, always excellent service. While this is an older hotel they try really hard to keep it up. When we checked in there was a broken glass door, when we went out for dinner about an hour later it was fixed. I'll keep booking here as long as the staff stay's.

Overall acceptable. BUT the nite we stayed there were 2 DOGS in a neighbor room, which kept BARKING, interrupting our children's sleep!!!

The pool was great. Hotel needs repairs made in the air conditioning - made noises in the night, not working in the hall areas, etc.
