l'albergo è situato in collins av a 3 isolati da espanola way e 4 da Lincoln rd. per chi non conosce miami beach sono i luoghi migliori. è vero che l'hotel come servizio offre solo il parcheggio (20 dollari/giorno economico per il posto ) ma vista la posizione non serve niente altro per chi ha voglia di fare 2 passi a conoscere un po' la città.il personale […] è gentile la camera sufficientemente grande e pulita.ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.se torno a miami sicuramente prenderò in considerazione questo hotel. Siamo stati un questo hotel a febbraio 2008 e a novembre 2011. E' stato ristrutturato con tocco moderno. La camera è piuttosto spaziosa, il bagno un po' piccolo ma vivibilissimo! La connessione wifi funziona in tutta la struttura. Il personale è cordiale ed attento alle esigenze dei clienti. Io e il mio ragazzo abbiamo soggiornato al Kent dal 25 al 31 gennaio..è il secondo anno che ci torniamo! L'hotel è stato ristrutturato e non abbiamo avuto nessun tipo di problema..la camera spaziosa,il letto enorme,tv e frigo in camera e bagno con doccia! La pulizia non è il massimo ma per qualsiasi lamentela o necessità le signore delle pulizie sono […] molto gentili..a noi il telecomando non funzionava più e sono arrivati in 3 a portarne uno nuovo..per chi ha la fortuna di andare a miami il kent è una buona struttura (si trova alle spalle di Ocean Drive e in un minuto a piedi si arriva in spiaggia)! Camere sporche, rumorose, clientela internazionale ma poco adatta alla convivenza (ore 3-4 tutte le notti ) a far festa nel corridoio!!!!!!!!!!!! Uniceh note felici la posizione Hotel situato nel centro di Miami Beach nel distretto dello shopping e una reception veramente efficace e gentile.

Good stay. Very close to excitement on South Beach. Close to Mango's! I love that place. Overall it was a pretty good stay. Only complaint: no parking. We paid $80 for the car to sit in a parking lot next door. The parking lot didn't offer any deals for guests at the adjacent hotel, which kinda sucked...

Although the hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Miami beach, the hotel itself leaves a lot to desire. Staff seems to be careless unless they see dollars flying to them. Many times we went to the front desk to ask for help they seemed to be gone and there was no one to assist us. Many times other hotel guests who were seating at the small […] lobby area guided us throughout the stay. The room itself doesn't seem to be fully equipped. There was no toothpaste, or mouthwash, or even q-tips available and when the front desk was asked for such items the answer was no. Lol! Pitiful! The front desk agent Jose who works overnight was very helpful and nice...he made up for the shortcomings of the hotel, but the other front desk agent was more interested in the cash as I previously stated before. I remember at some point he even told me "I only speak to my friend CASH to be able to help you" that's an embarrassing thing to say or do. Many occupants smoked marijuaina and the front desk joked about it when it was complained about. The shower water never got hot the entire weekend. People were running through the hallway late at night making lots of noise and nothing was done to calm the madness.

The Kent Hotel is a place that I hope I never have to see again. I understand that I was in South Beach during an extremely busy holiday weekend- Memorial Day, yet the condition of my room and attention from staff was unacceptable. The staff then told me that it was my fault because I was storing the keycard near other credit cards in my pockets. Yet, when I finally got a maintenance person to try it out, he let me know that they always have problems with my room! Lastly, when I asked to speak to a manager, I was told he would be there on Saturday morning. It has been fours days since my departure and I still have not spoken to anyone. We stayed at the Kent for one night before we left for a cruise. The hotel is just a few blocks up from the Collins Shopping District, and one block from the beach. Then this hotel is great, you are close to all the action on south beach without having all the noise at night. The room we had was nice on first glance but a bit dirty when you looked and the air con stopped working. If you are in town for a night maybe two then its good value but nothing more.

Service was horrible. The clerk was more interested in trying to pick up the woman checking in to the hotel before us. After about 10 minutes of standing in the line, with the female guests nearly checked in when I arrived, I was getting tired of hearing his pick up lines and the banter back and forth and while it was apparent I was getting tired of […] it, it didn't seem to matter to the clerk. Suprisingly, being a male, my process lasted less than five minutes. While I understand that everything is old in Miami, the decor seemed to be half-heartidly done and wasn't done well to keep up with the times. The beds need to be changed....I have a bad back and the sinking into the matress didn't help. As for the cleanliness, no complaints at all and it is a good location to walk to nearly everything. There are no clocks in the room, nor a local clock in the lobby (weird right?!) so bring your own alarm clock or watch. I visit Miami at least once a year and every time I stay at a different hotel. I've stayed in lush, expensive hotels and some not so good ones as well. I will say that this is a perfect middle ground. The price was within our budget and the location is awesome! The housekeeping was attentive and even helped dry our wet bathing suits. The hotel itself is a little older and the elevator is small but that is to be expected with any SoBe hotel since the city itself is old but the decor is very modern, sleek and bright. I will return to this hotel for sure. Outside of the super expensive hotels, this was the friendliest, and cleanest hotel and EVERYTHING we needed was within walking distance. Location and price were good. Older building, as are many on Collins Ave. You could hear the outside noise but it is a decent enough if you aren't expecting too much and just want an affordable place to stay while partying in SoBeach.

The hotel is walking distance to all the happening places near south beach. The hotel itself is clean for the most part but has very small rooms with tiny bathrooms. The staff is generally pleasant and helpful. Check in time is 4pm (which is pretty late in my opinion).

For a 3 star hotel, this is the best bang for your buck in South Beach. Decent rooms, centrally located, and under $200/night. I've stayed everywhere but now prefer The Kent.

The location is good. The room is clean, but overall it's just ok. The bathroom is small. The AC unit is very loud. You can hear people walking and talking on the hallway. The price you pay for is for the location, not for the quality of the hotel.

The Kent is located in the Art Deco area with that South Beach charm. The room and hotel are older and need a bit of updating. The rooms were clean but very basic. But that is all we required for a one night stay before our cruise. The beach is just one block from hotel and there is great shopping and restaurants surrounding.
