Gradevole, essenziale, pulito, funzionale . Allegra la hall con una galleria commerciale e culinaria vivace I corridoi , una galleria di arte moderna. Personale cortese ( non cordiale) e puntuale La posizione splendida . Una piscina che ti aiuta a cominciare bene la giornata Un comodissimo garageche ti dà la libertà di entrare ed uscire liberamente […] a qualsiasi ora e direttamente senza aiuto del personale. Pochi tre ascensori per la capienza dell'albergo. Noi abbiamo approfittato di un'offerta che non prevedeva la colazione: poco male, a due passi potrete godere di Einstein Cafè o Starbucks Cafè. Insomma, quando l'unica pecca è un cassetto che chiude male.......quasi quasi ti stupisci che non se ne siano ancora accorti Una serata divertente si può passare al ristorante Zitadellen di Spandau : non vi dico nient'altro per stuzzicare la vostra curiosità: documentatevi! ottima posizione, centralissima e superservita dai mezzi pubblici, compresi i taxi, che sono in parcheggio presso l'Hotel; colazione da non si può chiedere di più, di tutto, compresi gli chef per le cotture al momento; ottima l'aria climatizzata ed il servizio di pulizia, che comprendeva anche l'accappatoio ..; veramente da consigliare

Ottimo hotel moderno in bella posizione centrale, a piedi raggiungibile Porta di Brandeburgo, Torre della Televisione, Duomo di Berlino , Isola dei Musei. Comodo il parcheggio sotto l'hotel, la piscina e la sauna sono state molto gradite dopo le varie gite. La camera spaziosa e confortevole, personale disponibile. Ci tornerei!

First class and so close to all the tourist attractions and very close to any transport that would be required - the staff were so helpful and food first class - if we return to Berlin we will use this hotel again

Great location - close to major city attractions and conveniently located (bahn station a couple blocks away). Only minus: no free/complimentary wi-fi, even on common areas, so I had to walk to the nearest Starbucks (luckily there was one a block away).

Overall, it was a good experience and stay was comfortable. Hotel can do with complimentary breakfast and internet access. The site advised that lobby area had free internet but we were surprised to find out that it was not the case. There was one desk top computer sitting behind the reception, which we were told was the free internet access.

No question: this hotel has a location that can't be beat for Berlin. Close to the train and S- and U-Bahn, near the Tor, etc. However, this time I found the staff less than helpful. I went to Berlin primarily to visit art museums. I chose the Maritim proArte Hotel because of its location, between Museuminsel and Kulturforum, and because there was a deal on 3-nights stay.The room was fairly large, with modern furnishings, but the amenities were disappointing for a 4-star hotel: lumpy pillows, air conditioning barely functional, […] no coffee/teamaker in the room, and the prices for breakfast and internet were truly outrageous. There is a very small gym and a pool. The location is closer to Museuminsel (an easy walk), with U-bahn and tram close by. The immediate neighborhood is somewhat featureless -- lots of retail shopping but no interesting restaurants and no convenience stores. Hotel is located in Berlin-Mitte, right next to Bahnhof Friedrichstrasse and walking distance to Brandenburger Tor and Reichstag. Extensive breakfast buffet. Rooms were acceptable but could use better internet access (e.g., unlimited daily option) and an upgrade for the old-school TV.

This hotel is pretty good. Room service wasn't very good and you have very limited options if you're a vegetarian (one dish). Location is great and the front desk staff are nice and helpful. Safe, clean and convenient hotel. Book a taxi for the airport if you're leaving early AM (less than 30 Euro if you're going to Texel).

The Maritim Pro-Arte in Berlin has a great location, one block from the S-Bahn station Friedrichstrasse (direct when coming from Schoenefeld airport). It's closed to the Brandenburg gate and to really good shopping. The hotel was clean. I had a room in the back which was really quiet. Only negative remarks from my side: - the hotel is outdated and deserves […] a make-over. - no bathroom amenities such as barsoap or lotion (but there is a soap dispenser in the bathtub and by the sink) - poor reception services. This is in a great location to walk to most of the sites and to catch the train to and from the airport. There are also lots of restaurants around and next to a Starbucks and McDonald's as well.

The Rewa supermarket a block away and across the street has the best prices for food I know of in Germany. Hotel entrance/lobby is like a fabric but the rooms are nice and comfy (no tea/coffee facilities). Unfortunately, the hotel does not offer free WLAN or internet. There is a computer for guests but you have to pay for it. Since nearly everybody offers free internet it is a pitty for a hotel within that range!

This is a hotel more suited for business travellers familiar with Berlin. My wife and I arrived, as scheduled, for a late check-in, and were eventually acknowledged by a reception desk employee. With a few caveats, I would highly recommend this hotel. Our room and the hotel itself were very clean, and the location is great. It is 1 1/2 blocks from the Friederrickstrasse S-Bahn station (2 from the U-Bahn), and 2 blocks from Museum Island. The Brandenburg is about a 15 minute walk. However, here is what I did not like: (1) the buffet breakfast […] was a whopping 22 Euros per person. However, there are several places where you can get breakfast within a 1-2 block range of the hotel. (2) Internet access cost as much as 24 Euros/day; there is only 1 free terminal in the lobby, and you usually have to wait to use it.Perhaps such high fees aren't bad if you're a business traveler and have an expense account, but they seem high for the average traveler. (3) The reception and concierge staff, while perfunctorily polite, acted if they were doing you a favor by responding to you, and our questions were minimal and hardly time-consuming e.g. How much is breakfast, the internet? Can you tell us where to catch the bus to....? Hardly demanding -- just routine questions that got snippy answers. It is only because of these 3 things that I give the Maritim a 4. The hotel is situated in the former East Berlin and is close to metro, trams and buses. It's a 15 minute stroll from the Brandemburg Gate and close to many of the amazing places in Berlin. Our room was a good size and was quiet and comfortable. Excellent hotel facilities include pool, sauna and gym. Buffet breakfast was excellent and good value.

The hotel was your typical large scale "conference hotel", so don't expect a small-hotel charme, but the rooms were comfortable, newly decorated, clean... we felt very comfortable. The Exercise/pool/sauna area was outstanding. All main attractions are in walking distance, no need to use the car once. The comments about the improvements made to this communist era hotel are all correct. It is very modern and chic. The location is unbeatable, being just off the corner of Unter den Linden and Friedrich Str.The room was wonderfully appointed and the bed was confortable. We highly recommend this hotel.

The location of this hotel couldn't be better--it's right around the corner from the Friedrichstrasse train station and Unter den Linden; you can easily walk to the Museum Island or catch the 100 bus to Alexanderplatz or to Potsdamer Platz. It's also only a block from the bus stop for the Tegel airport express bus, and one S-bahn stop from the main […] train station. I would recommend asking for a room on one of the upper floors, though, as the traffic noise on the lower floors (especially with the windows open) would be bothersome. I didn't sign up for breakfast as it was rather expensive and the area is full of bakeries that serve inexpensive coffee and pasteries. Hotels located well, rooms are very small. Bathroom is bare, nothing but liquid soap.One bathrobe for two of us, limited quantity of towels. Pillows so thin, almost non existent. No additional pillows. My husband put bathrobe under the pillow. Except for room servise, it's a problem to get cup of tea or coffe after 8:30 pm. The Bad news: A few wee gripes, the room was too hot, the A/C only operates when the outside temp is below 16C (according to reception) the corridors are hot so even if the outside temp is < 16C the room is hot! We booked […] a superior non-smoking room, the superior rooms should be on floor 8 & 9 but were given a floor 7 room (according to reception) they had no superior non-smoking rooms on floor 8 & 9. They also failed to provide the superior rooms toiletries.
