I booked what was the smallest room at the River Hotel, that came at a very good price for Chicago's standards. Lean and straightforward hotel, fantastic location - free wifi and chilled water. It was small by american standards, but not for European or Japanese standards. Highly recommended hotel -

"Hilton Rosemont - Haven for travelers"
The hotel staff were delightfully friendly and helpful. The property was well managed and cared for. With the exception of a motion detector night-lite in the bathroom that turned the overhead light on each time we entered, (even in the middle of the night) the room was excellent. We will most likely stay there again.

This is a fabulous hotel connected to the Donald E Stephens Convention Center. The rooms are great, the restaurant is fabulous, and the staff are exceptionally helpful. I had a wonderful time in my hotel. It was very clean and the bed and pillows were very comfortable to use. The only thing that would have made my stay better would have been having a microwave in my room. But other than that, I'd stay there again in a heart beat.

Can't believe how terrible the service was. From check in to check out; even when I went down for dinner; I had to wait 5 minutes for someone to even ask if I was here to eat. We stayed at the Hilton Rosemont O'Hare this past weekend and found it to be clean, nicely decorated, and well maintained. We didn't wait in any line to check-in and staff were friendly and efficient. Our room was ready upon arrival. During our stay, we gambled at the Rivers Casino and attended a Wolves hockey game; this hotel was very convenient to […] both points of interest. It is also very convenient to O'Hare airport. Check-out was very fast and efficient. There was an error on our bill when we reviewed our statement (someone had charged an $85 breakfast to our room by mistake) but the staff quickly resolved the problem and removed the charge at the time of check-out. Overall, I would recommend staying here. I personally would stay here again. My only compliant was that the hotel charged for overnight parking but it seems that every hotel in the area charges for it (my guess is that they are discouraging people from parking in their lot for free and then grabbing a cab to the airport). "Bad experience - Got Sick"
checked in Thursday and the room was really cold at night. The next night (Friday night), called front desk and they sent someone in. The person came in and played around with the controls and told me it was fine. The problem still existed and I called front desk again and they had someone bring in a heater. In addition, the individual that brought […] in the heater made a comment about how the room was not cold and was not helpful in setting up the heater as well. The hotel room was very nice, the bed very comfortable, and the staff very friendly. There was a really cool media connection box in our room for hooking up a computer (HDMI, audio input, video input, etc) and because we had the right cables, we were able to hook it up and watch movies from our laptop. "Parking was hard to exit"
Parking Problems. We had problems every time we tried to exit the gate parking lot and so did other guests. The first time we tried to exit, it took 10 minutes and we kept calling and talking to the front desk through the speaker. We finally had to get out of our car and walk to the front desk to tell them to let us out. We saw 4 other guests have the […] same problem. What a wonderful place! We visited there for a convention held at the event center across the street. On first sight the hotel looks so fancy that it would seem unaffordable. That is a complete facade! Everything is very reasonably priced and all the staff is very courteous! We've stayed in other hotels in the area and this one definitely beats the […] rest out in all regards. Professional, caring staff, great prices on food and beverage, excellent rooms, great complimentary breakfast, easy check-in and out! I was here on business and selected the hotel based on those needs. Single travelers on short stays -- 1 night in this case -- can sometimes get stuck with the small room in the back, but not here. My room was large, clean, and extremely comfortable. If you're in the mood for a cheeseburger and a glass of red wine, that's probably the best thing on […] the evening room service menu. The hotel itself looks like it had a very recent refresh and is warm and modern. The airport neighborhood is nothing to write home about, but it's definitely convenient for business travelers. The breakfast buffet was very high quality but it was a litle pricey (as are most hotel breakfast buffets), so unless you want to treat yourself to the $13 yogurt & sweet rolls, Dunkin' Donuts is a much cheaper option. I was attending a show at the Rosemont Convention center. The Hilton was right across the street. Everything associated with trade shows is designed to extract as much money as possible from the attendees and this hotel was no exception. The hotel was nice but the $20 breakfast buffet (not included) and the $10 internet fee were really gouging.

The hotel/room/service was very nice. The only down side was that they charge $18.00 per day for parking. I mean it's there own lot & they're charing there guest for parking. Other than that every thing else was very nice. On our second night there some of the other guest across from us & the room to the left of us those people were very noisy. Nice hotel but everything costs extra that is usually free in other hotels (wifi, parking (very expensive), breakfast, etc). very long walk from the expensive parking to the hotel.
the rooms were comfy with huge TVs, but no fridge or microwave...and the front desk service was awful...they need more people at the front desk...it took forever and the line was only a couple people long...and they kept answering phones during our check-in/out so each process took almost 20 minutes...not impressed with the service.

I travel a lot. Often to Chicago. I have noticed that some hotels - especially Hilton properties - will not allow you to register until exactly 3 pm on day of arrival even if rooms are available evidently because you book through hotels.com. I think these hotels should remember that Hotels.com customers deserve the same attention as those that book […] through Hilton itself. I arrived at the hotel at 2:00 pm and was told there were no rooms cleaned yet and would have to wait until at least 3 pm to register. I grabbed something to eat, finished and sat in a waiting area off to the side of the registration desk. I noticed other guests were told they had to wait also and they were most likely guests of other travel websites since they had computer printouts of their reservations. During the half hour I sat there, I witnessed several other guests who went to the counter and were promptly given rooms. This is just plain wrong. Amazingly, exactly at 3 pm, seven guests, myself included, holding their computer reservations miraculously got their rooms. Hilton's other property downtown , Doubletree, does exactly the same thing. I even told the desk clerk once that I had stayed at the hotel at least four prior times within a month or two. After telling me I had to wait until 3 pm, she said she would ask the manager if she couldn't give me a room. She returned and unfortunately could not. I had booked with Hotels.com So, this must be a policy of Hilton Hotels. I really believe Hotels.com should remind Hilton Hotels that many of their rooms would be vacant without Hotels.com servicing their customers. Otherwise, I love the hotel. Very comfortable, clean and the beds are superior in quality. The restaurants are beautiful and the food great. It is very close to O'Hare and the Blue Line (five minute easy walk). I stayed here to beat the higher rates of most downtown hotels at the time. In fact, this superior quality hotel was half the asking price of true dumps in downtown Chicago. I Continua a leggere

Great place, nice staff. We will stay there again when need to be in area . Kassandra at front desk was very kind to my handicapped child as she took time to get him some menus that he was interested in. That set our weekend on a good start. We both enjoyed our stay.

What a wonderful surprise walking into this beautiful, well maintained hotel. Our room and bedding were really clean and our bed extremely comfy! Love it, wished we could of stayed longer. We will definitely be back!

THe room was nice but there was a light out above the sink in the bathroom so it was hard to do makeup, the restaurant there was way overpriced and the meat portions were small. There was no liner in the garbage can in the room so I felt bad throwing pop cans and such in it wondering how they would clean such a thing. One out of the two keys worked […] to enter the room. We went there for the mototcycle show and just wanted to relax but some of these things made it hard too and we didn't have time to call someone to fix the light, I didn't want some maintenance guy there wasting my time. Myself and my girlfriend went for the Motorcycle show that was across the street, but connected by a sky bridge. The room and bed were very comfortable. The curtains were able to block out all light. The room was also very quite for being in line with the airport landing strip. Very good meal next morning. Check out was easy by using Hotel.com. "The Hilton Hotel in Rosemont"
Great location. Lots of nice and upscale restaurants walking distance. It is located in front of the Convention Center. Shuttle bus service took us to the Allstate Arena but would not pick us up. Great rates! Otherwise, room was clean and very comfortable. I would highly recommend!

The location of this hotel is great for getting in and out of Chicago and avoiding traffic. Room was new and modern yet warm. Hotel staff was excellent. They offered free wifi in the lobby so I didn't have to pay in my room. This worked out well as I sat in the cafe and did my work. Would definitely return.

This hotel used to be the Hotel Sofitel Rosemont. When it was new, the Sofitel was a beautiful hotel. I stayed there a number of times. After a lot of usage, the hotel deteriorated and I understand that a year or so ago was sold to the Hilton chain. The hotel underwent a restoration for a number of months in 09 - 10.
