L'hotel si presenta molto bene, personale gentile (ma non molto sorridente - siamo troppo a nord). La colazione è sempre degna di nota nella catena Best Western, la consiglio a tutti anche per l'attenziona a mantenere alti gli standard. Insomma, hotel carino, vicino al centro, letti comodi, camere ampie, colazione super, cosa volete di più?...è anche economico!!! Buon viaggio!!!

Questo quartiere orientale prende il nome del capo ussita Jan Zizka, vincitore di una battaglia storica contro le forze di invasione nel 1420. Una enorme statua equestre commemora Zizka sulla collina Vitkov, dove il Monumento Nazionale dell'epoca comunista (1927-32) simboleggia la lotta ceca per l'indipendenza. Franz Kafka e il martire anticomunista Jan Palach sono sepolti nell'esteso cimitero di Olsany.

"For its always sufficient"
Dont take the room in the first floor otherwise u will have problems asleep. The passing tram during the night is too noisy. Not for the first time who in prague. Zona periferica però collegato benissimo con autobus 133 che porta direttamente in centro in una ventina di minuti. La camera a prima vista sembra essere piuttosto normale... in reatlà puzza da morire, la moquette è sporca, il bagno è lurido, le lenzuola sono corte e a volte manca l'acqua calda. We only stayed for one night before travelling to Berlin. The hotel was clean, as were the rooms. The staff were very helpful and could speak English, which was a great help. The hotel was convenient to all transportation. My only real disappointment was that I had to pay for the internet. About 4 euros a day. I just went to KFC instead and had a coffee and used the internet for free. There was a plumbing problem in our first room because of mold and terrible smell. The second room was fine. "Tram that runs from the train station to the front"
A bit far from the sights but pretty convenient with a tram that runs from the train station to the front door of the hotel. The room was accommodating enough for our needs. There's not much to see or do around hotel, but it's more or less 10 minutes away from the city center by tram nr. 9 which goes basically everywhere I needed to go or I can transfer to another. "Vitkov, good choice"
I am choice Vitkov because one other hotel Beta Pension cancelled my booking for only their knowing reasons. I was winner, because Vitkov is really really good hotel. Staff is wonderful! My trip was business trip and there are good connections with all main transport lines. Jus i would be adviced to hotel change direction advice from airport, because […] at night as i came is difficult to find tram No9 from Flora underground station. Better iis to go to Florenc underground station (you have to undergound green line to red line) and from Florence take a buss no 133 till hotel (i forgot station Nr, but you have to ask hotel service, they are very helpful). Its more easy way how to come and by the way you dont need with heavy bags going up and down without elevator. I am advice to buy as kleast 1 or 3 days transport ticket in airport. Hotel rooms at first moment are clean but this service they dont do every day (seems that), just take out garbadge and change towels. Linen wasnt changed for all 4 days. TV is old, not flat screen. No free Wi-Fi, but price for usinh arent high. Restaurant is good, breakfast have enough variety. In front of hotel is as well tram No9 and you can access easy Old town. "Good price, Good hotel!"
I stayed there recently and would strongly recommend it. The hotel itself isn't in town but a 10 min drive from the Central station, (Do not take a taxi from the station, otherwise they'll rip you off, the bus or tram should do it). The lady at the reception was friendly and helpful at all times; we foud the hotel bedroom bright and clean. They had […] a wide variety of foods for breakfast and everything looked fresh. The only downside I would say might be the noise from the outside starting early in the morning due to the trams, buses and cars: we didn't mind as we got up early but if you are not a morning person just ask for a room in the 3rd floor or above. On the other side, right in front of the hotel there is a Tesco express which is really handy, to get water and stuffs, and the bus stop which takes you to Stare Mesto (Old Town). while the beds were comfortable there was mold/mildew on our beds. the a/c in the kids room worked while the one in ours did not. the bathroom showers had mildew in a lot of places and was thick. we asked that the rooms be connecting and they were at a distance from each other. while it was only 2 miles from the old town square it was to far to walk. […] that was our fault but ultimately for what we paid it was not bad, my main complaints was the filth in the bathrooms and the a/c and also the way they could not put us near the other bedroom. we think it said free wifi but it was a pay as you go. the parking was a first come first serve and was 10 euro and it was in a dark damp garage but on the bright side it was mostly secure. The value of the hotel was very good for the money we spend. We stayed for 3 nights and our room was cleaned every day. The view from our room was a little depressing (our fenster opened to the back side of the hotel), but that did not matter as we were most of the day out sightseeing. Breakfast was good, with the usual dishes. We choose to park the […] car at hotel parking, but there are lots of parking places on the streets near by and I found the neighborhood to be quite calm. The room was clean. The water in the shower room didn't go very fast when we took showers so we didn't feel very comfortable about that. The hotel is by the street. It's convenient to take the tram. Since it's in the corner of a crossroad, trams reduced speed and increased speed when making a right turn. There are lot's of trams. The midnight noise […] was very annoying. This made us a very light sleep. The breakfast was poor. Most of the food was plain bread. The coffee maker was very cheap. All in all, this price in Prague I think we've got what we paid. "Worth the money."
The A/C in our room didnt work as well as we would have liked. Rooms are clean and cozy. Breakfast had alot to pick from and was well balanced. Would stay again.Recensioni obiettive degli ospiti Expedia

"Good hotel for money"
The hotel was good. It took 15 mins by tram from the city center but the tram stop is right outside the hotel so it is really convenient. The rooms are clean although they should do something about the ventilation system in the toilets. We had to leave the windows open (we were on the second floor) when we went out to make sure that the room smelled […] fresh when got back. Breakfast is between 07-10 but they remove all food around 09:40. So one had to be early to get food at all. That was surprising. "Great hotel at great price"
Me & my girlfriend stayed in this hotel during mid March 2012. We had a pleasant stay in Prague. Nice neighborhood, close to bus/tram station. They have very friendly and charming staff, good breakfast, nice restaurants around the hotel. I would definitely recommend to others.Recensioni obiettive Hotels.com
