si tratta di una eccellente struttura sulla spiaggia!! abbiamo soggiornato solo 2 notti ma riteniamo di segnalarlo ad altri viaggiatori x la ottima stuttura e la vera impostazione della stanza all'americana!!

We loved the accomodations and the hotel was just beautiful. The staff was great and we were well taken care of. We plan to come back and stay over the summer for a week!

Beautiful hotel on gorgeous beach. Lovely and kid friendly pools. Out going, active, happy staff made us never want to leave! Returning!

Spent a couple of nights before joining a cruise; location was great, if a bit hard to find, but good beachfront access. Lots of facilities for children, and as it was St. Patricks weekend it was full of them, so very noisy ! Restaurants were good, food excellent, service very helpful. We were looking for an all-in-one hotel that we could spend quality time with our son. The hotel surpassed our expectations: the beach was amazing--huge area with plenty of space; there were two well-kept pools and lots of activities on the grounds, including chess, putt putt, tennis, etc. Beach chairs and towels were included---a huge plus!! No parking […] fees either. We had a car, and the concierge was extremely helpful in directing us to local attractions. The food was pricey, but we had a suite with a fridge, so we were able to conveniently keep snacks and other food. Housekeeping was fantastic. I was worried about the possibility of crowds since we were going for Spring Break but this hotel isn't on A1A with all the other hotels and is in the perfect location. It's on it's own private beach so there's no having to cross a street to get to a crowded beach. We rented a car and took advantage of their complimentary valet. The hotel is hidden […] away but is easy to get to and isn't out of the way. I was concerned after seeing some pictures and reading reviews of dated rooms but our room was great. There must have been renovations done since the reviews I'd read. There is plenty for everyone to do. We did notice that people tend to get down to the pool early to mark their territory. I saw towels, books and/or shoes used to hold lounge chairs for several hours. Overall, it was a great place to stay and we definitely want to go back. Continua a leggere

Overall it was a very nice experience. Staff was friendly. Did have an incidence on Tuesday night. Came back from being in town. Found that we could not go to the pool area as there was an event going on. This was fine, but when we when to get our car, someone had parked irresponsibly in the spot next to our car and scratched our rental car. We reported […] it to a staff member and the incidence was brushed off as not a big deal and that the rental company will never notice. The Lago Mar is located on the ocean with very spacious grounds, lots of palm trees and other tropical landscaping. There are two very nice pools, lots of chairs and pool bar. The grounds and buildings are in great condition and the hotel lobby, lounge and rooms are very attractive and well-maintained. Staff is very friendly. This is about our 10th visit at Lago Mar so they must be doing something right. Since Ft. Lauderdale is a repeat destination for us, Lago Mar is just great. Beautiful beach, good food, and very central to everything.

The hotel is nice, it has a good location and it is clean, the pool is nice but nothing wow. the ocean is filled with seaweeds so for me next time ocean side hotel is not a major thing. They have a rude receptionist call Rosa "Italy" she should be fired because she was so rude to us and treated us like we are trash. The concierge team is very very nice […] and welcoming and helpful they gave us a bunch of pointers and helped us find nice locations and sometime save money. They have a computer room that is so nice, it saved my life because i forgot my laptop charger. the cleaning services were good, the room was good and nice. Continua a leggere

Checked in with ease on Friday afternoon expecting the standard room we booked. We were immediately upgraded to an Executive Suite without asking for it and without any additional charge. The staff was amazing! Ron, Andy, Fabrizio & Nicole at the outside pool bar were friendly and helped us kick off our weekend getaway. Henry, the Chef, makes the […] most amazing omelettes and the breakfast buffet was so good that I'm sadly 4 pounds heavier now :( The concierge staff went above and beyond. We decided to take a road trip to South Beach and instead of paying a cab $90 each way, the called and had a rental car dropped off for us at the hotel, no charge to park, and the rental car company came back the next day to pick it up. The concierge also made us reservations for dinner in South Beach. Now to the best part....the BEACH. Clean, relaxing, and Nicole comes around at noon taking drink orders. The water was warm, the waves were enjoyable but not overpowering, and the overall grounds at the hotel are very well maintained. If you walk to the "rocks" at the end of the beach (about a 3 minute walk) - you can see all of the cruise ships in the port and watch them as they head out. We took a cab to A1A in Ft. Lauderdale on Sunday night and had an amazing dinner at H20 which overlooks the boardwalk and the beach - I highly recommend it! We enjoyed this trip so much that we're cancelling next month's scheduled trip to New Orleans to come back to Ft. Lauderdale. We just couldn't get enough of the beach. Don't ask me how the hotel pools were...they looked beautiful, but we never once went in them. Once you're in that Ocean, you don't ever want to come out! My only suggestion - LOL - take the scale out of the bathroom. I could have done without knowing I was packing on the pounds during my stay :) I'm blaming it on Henry :) Continua a leggere

Outstanding hotel in it's entirety! We stayed here post cruise and couldn't have asked for a better place to spend our last day of vacation. The hotel staff went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. We will be back for sure!

The Lago Mar resort made us feel like we had left for an island getaway. The resort has it all and is full of life and the loveliest people you will ever meet from around the world. Great place for family and gatherings. My family has decided that this resort will be our annual vacation spot.

Nothing not to like about this place except a little hard to find the first time. Great service, rooms, pool area and beach. Happy hour every day at the wine cellar and a great beach. A bit pricey but if you go in off-season you can get a really good rate. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Great hotel for a fun family get away. Wonderful private beach to play as well as two pools. The staff was also very accomodateing and pleasant to deal with.

this hotel is located directly on the beach which is rare in ft lauderdale. food in the area was great and stay was relaxing. would def come back.

Recently my girlfriend and I had the pleasure of staying at the Lago Mar Resort. It was above and beyond what either of us could ever expect. After booking a 7 day cruise to the Caribbean a little over a month ago I decided that it would be nice to step off the boat and spend a couple days recuperating at a nice hotel in the Ft Lauderdale area, especially […] since my girlfriend had never been. What we got when we step off the crusie ship was a second horrendous cab ride from the cruise terminal to the hotel. After driving around lost for an hour we instructed the cab driver to drop us off another location and immediately called the Lago Mar Resort and told them about our SECOND cab ride of this nature. The Lago Mar desk staff quickly dispatched a personal driver to come retrieve my girlfriend and I who at this time were both very flustered. The driver arrived very promptly and was immediatley understanding of our situation and politely assisted us with our baggage. Upon arriving at the resort the we quickly realized that our bad luck had changed finally. We were greeted by staff members who were aware of our situation and quickly put us at ease with their kind words and amazing service. The manager voluntarily upgraded our room for us, the food in the restaurant and the waitstaff were above reproach and the other staff and crew were always smiling and willing to help with a variety of services that we needed. We never waited for a ride, we never had to ask twice for anything and we were never treated with anything but the utmost courtesy and respect. In regards to the facilities, I dont think words would do them justice. First the resort is tucked away in a private area surrounded by residential area and away from any highway or roads, it was in instant feeling of being "home". The level of cleanliness was without compare. The staff was very diligent in maintaining the upkeep and aesthetic appeal of the hotel. The pools were immaculate and well laid out. We enjoyed our stay at Lago Mar. It's well maintained, clean an has an easy acess to the beach, which was very important for my family. Stay out of a Soda shop unless you want to pay triple prices on food and beverages to-go. Oh, they also automatically add 18% gratuity on everything. We loved Lago Mar! The staff and the accomendations are excellent. We are already planning on return next year.

This is a wonderful resort with a private beach right on the ocean - no streets to cross, and no rowdy crowds. The resort itself is beautifully landscaped (look for the orchids hanging among the trees) and very clean. Staff is helpful with restaurant suggestions. Two pools, hammocks, mini golf, ping pong table and more kept my two teens happy. Business […] center had computers and printers available to use. A very nice resort, away from the crowds. If you want to relax this is the place to be. Only thing I must say is that be on the lookout for check in and out (11am and 4pm), not really a great specially if you are staying just one night.

everyone was great.. very nice.. prices of food and drinks a bit pricy but you can go to walgreens which is close by (the mandatory added gratuity gets annoying when buyin a pack of gum). Took my girls (13 & 25) on a girls only trip. Loved the hotel! Most of the staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were large and ours overlooked the pool and beach. Great view! I think the only complaint we had was that the elevator was not air-conditioned and was very hot and stuffy! Otherwise I would say that this is a great place to stay […] ! Continua a leggere

Gorgeous lobby! The mosaic tile work is really breathtaking. The grounds are well maintained and beautiful..tropical. We were upgraded to a 2 room suite in the older section of the hotel. The room was spotless, overlooked the pool area and had a view of the ocean/beach. The problem was that the bed was very hard and quite uncomfortable. After tossing […] and turning until 3am I tried the sofa, but it was uncomfortable, too. The cover on the sofa was a stiff nylon. Both need to be upgraded in those rooms. by the end of the weekend I dreaded going back to our room, having no quality furniture on which to relax. Other than that we really enjoyed the hotel. The staff was great, and the grounds were nice. Shuffle board, beach, giant chess, restaurants. Location good. Hotel was a bit old, and showed it.

The Lago Mar resort is outstanding. From the moment one checks in, everything is taken care of. The rooms are large and well equipped, the location is fabulous with two swimming pools, one a "lagoon" in which one can actually swim to a destination, and the beach is close by. Bars and restaurants are good, although the evening meal at the restaurant, […] while a good deal, tends to have main courses so copious it is hard to finish what is on the plate. The staff was very friendly, the hotel was clean, and the food was delicious. We had the slice of heaven spa treatment and I have to say Fernando was fantastic!
