Molto buono. Unica lamentela, il comportamento dell'autista della "navetta" per l'aeroporto (fornita dall'albergo), che si è arbitrariamente trattenuto quattro euro di resto (dati 50, resi 30) come mancia.

Bellissimo hotel in stile classico con personale cortese, internet veloce, camere grandi dotate di ogni confort e posizione che più centrale non si può con metropolitane, ristorante e locali da ogni lato. Tuttavia la nostra camera, pur essendo molto ampia e confortevole, dava sul cortile interno e questo è risultato un pò claustrofobico e con scarsa ventilazione.

complessivamente buono, grande e comoda camera family ,affacciata sulla Gran via ( rumorori di traffico e sirene la notte), letti un po' duri ,bene bagno , ottima e varia colazione a buffet , fermata metro a 10 metri , in centro (Puerta del Sol ) in meno di 10 minuti a piedi.WiFi solo nella Hall ed al piano colazione internet con cavo in camera

in posizione molto centrale, posizionato a pochi passi dalla metro e nella zona centrale del cuore di madrid, stanza piccola invece della matrimoniale ho avuto una stanza con due letti separati, per il resto tutto ok

Hotel in ottima posizione, vicino a stazione metro. Pulizia ineccepibile. Stanza piccola ma abbastanza confortevole con orribile affaccio in cortile interno, bellissimo ed ampio bagno. Colazione poco soddisfacente come qualità e varietà. Scale per accedere all'ascensore senza scivolo per i bagagli.

"Il mio soggiorno nell'hotel Versalles di Madrid"
L'hotel è molto vivibile; è pulitissimo,silenzioso, vicinissimo al centro della città ma senza i disagi della vera centralità. La stazione del metrò a due passi permette di raggiungere ogni parte di Madrid in poschissimo tempo. La colazione è varia, abbondante e sempre freschissima. Il personale è disponibile e gentile. Soltanto la camera è risultata […] essere molto piccola; per me e mio marito però è stata adeguata, anche se non si passava ...molto bene in due sul fondo del letto...Tutta la positività rimanente compensava però questo difetto, che poi non era tale essendo noi solo in due. "Una settimana a Madrid"
L'hotel è ottimo, la stanza spaziosa e pulita, la twin aveva due letti da una piazza e mezza. Nuovo il televisore e la colazione è ricca e abbondante (anche se cara: circa 10 Euro a testa), WiFi presente ovunque. Lo consiglierei.

L'hotel si trova in una posizione molto bella per visitare la città perchè è situato a pochi passi dalla stazione metro, e anche a piedi si può raggiungere il centro città. Le camere sono molto confortevoli, il personale è disponibile e gentile e la pulizia è ottima. Consiglio questo hotel sia a famiglie che a persone in viaggio per affari.

"Hotel comodo con personale gentilissimo"
Personale gentilissimo che si sforzava di parlare la lingua italiana e alla ns bimba e' stato dato un piccolo album di benvenuto da colorare con dei colori. Ottimo hotel dal punto di vista di connessione con l'aeroporto e con il cuore pulsante di madrid. La zona e' molto tranquilla e si dorme benissimo nonostante la vicinanza ad arterie abbastanza trafficate […] (anche dormendo conla finestra aperta). Colazione (non inclusa nel prezzo per il mio pacchetto) ma di ottima qualita' e servita in un'accogliente saletta. La camera era un po' piccola con la culla per la ns bimba di 3 anni che poi era una poltrona letto molto comoda. Pulizia ottima stanza sempre impeccabile. unico Anche i servizi sempre puliti in modo impeccabile anche se non piu' nuovissimi Unico neo: il bagno aveva un cattivo odore di fogna non sempre e purtroppo non so se fosse cosi' anche in altre camere. All'arrivo l'hotel appare quasi di Lusso, una bella Hall accoglie i clienti. Il personale è cordiale, attento a spiegare ogni informazione utile per il soggiorno. La camera è di buone dimensioni, non troppo grande ma funzionale, la pulizia è ottima, il letto è moderno e rigido, il bagno ha vasca e doccia e finalmente dopo vari viaggi in Europa ho trovato […] un Bidet (alleluia!). "grande scelta"
Abbiamo soggiornato 4 giorni in questo hotel che si è rivelato al di sopra delle nostre aspettative. Camere decorose, pulite, personale disponibile ad ogni esigenza. Vicinissimo alla metro e a piedi al centro di madrid con una piacevolissima passeggiata. Lo consiglio vivamente a chiunque
Hotel molto elegante, camera grande e silenziosa, personale disponibile e hall molto confortevole. Buffet colazione abbondante. L'arredo della stanza non brilla per bellezza.

i stayed at the hotel on 03/2012 and enjoyed every minute. we got value for every euro we paid: the room was big enough, with free Wi-Fi. the staff helped us a lot and allways with a smile. The location of the hotel was better than we could have hoped - 1 minute walk from the metro station that reaches to everywhere and if we wanted to walk - it's just […] 15 minutes walk from all the central places. "Great Value Hotel"
Stayed in this hotel in march 2012 and would stay again in the future.
Close to the metro, rooms are clean, a bit dated but other than that was an enjoyable stay.

value for money. compare to other hotels it was 40% cheaper. and free wi-fi. quite close (10-15 min walk) to the center & METRO. easy ride from the airport. the 4 stars had better days.... but that it is why it is reflected in the price...

We reserved three rooms at this hotel for our family trip to Spain and everyone was very happy with the choice. The neighborhood is quiet, but just a few yards away from a major road, plaza and access to metro, so getting to the more active areas is very easy. There's very good restaurants, cafes, bars and shopping nearby. It's true that the walls are […] very thin but the noise has to be loud in order to hear it through the walls - my parents were in the room next to us and I could hear my dad coughing at night, but that's about it, no talking our TV noise. My only annoyance was that there was construction and renovation inside the hotel while we were there, but they were considerate enough not to begin work until later in the morning and ended early in the evening. It was still annoying to try and sleep in and have to wake up to pounding and drilling. However, this did not ruin the stay and I would still highly recommend this hotel. "When traveling always consider meal options"
Overall solid hotel however had a problem getting fed one night late after midnight after traveling up from Sevilla on Renfe. I had late meal service available at the VIPs near my other hotel near Pza. Espana on the front end of my trip so this "trained" for up to 3AM there but not in Gran Versalles part of town even on weekends. Go figure. Heard it […] is even worse in England. Room very clean and comfy although I had to change rooms the 2nd day as the new occupant next to me making some really strange noises over and over. Take the breakfast for 10 EU, it's the best value in the area. The desk also sells one and two tour bus tickets that take you , everywhere you need to go. The two day was about 25 EU.

Comfortable hotel, and a good weekend deal, but really a business mans hotel. No tea/coffee in room, and breakfast good but not included in price. convenient for main sights.

Lovely hotel. High standard rooms, toiletries,bathroom. Reasonable prices for fridge and food in room. breakfast reasonable price@€9.very well located & close to metro. Only negatives Walls a bit thin and most(not all) staff could be a lit friendlier with very little effort! Would definitely stay again if in Madrid and would recommend.

This hotel is very well located and very comfortable. Staff were excellent and the breakfast very good. Only problem is car parking which was €26 per night, an alternative for €21 was available. I would highly recommend this hotel and is was inexpensive.

"Clean, Quiet, Accomodating"
I really can't say enough about our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, & the complimentary breakfasts amazing. It's in an "out of the way" part of town that is relatively quiet but with the metro just steps away, everything is easy to get to. The airline lost our luggage and the desk staff was very concerned and helpful, monitoring the website […] for updates. Our room was also very clean & well maintained. The only drawback is that a "double" is 2 twin beds pushed together but made separately (not the end of the world). We stayed 4 nights & feel it was an excellent value for the price. straight forward receptionists, apples are provided at reception! good price / quality relation, double bed room i had on the first floor ist very quiet and spacious except for the bathroom where the toilet is quite close to the tube. big bed a little too firm or hard for me but very ok. the safe is very good
"Gran Versalles Sep 2011"
Gran Varsalles was not the chosen Hotel but recommended by Hotel.com support when our first choice was not available. It was comforting when we arrived to find 2 excellent rooms and and very helpful staff although our Spanish was limited they were able to help with all our questions. Additional nice extras were the bathroom stock of small accessories […] eg: Razor, toothpaste, cotton buds. Location was excellent for ourselves as it appears to be in the commercial area of Madrid and it felt very safe at night with lots of people about. The tourist and shopping areas would have been too noisey at night. Room safe worked without any problems and a well stocked room bar. The only bitter taste was that on leaving I was charged for a Madrid phone call which I had attempted to make but received no answer. This seems to be getting a very common practice with London Hotels also that you pay for picking up the phone and dialing. However, this was only a small amount and because of the excellent service was not an issue I wanted to persue. Pros: Clean Room Big Bed Good Location Cons Rude Staff Hotel looked and felt old We had a few problems with a leak in our Bathroom We got a special offer price so it wasn't bad value but if we had paid full price I feel we could have got better for our money.

"Good hotel, convenient location, odor in rooms"
This was a reasonably priced hotel a short walk from the Alonso Martinez metro, and within walking distance (20 minutes) of several major attractions in central Madrid, as well as restaurants and shopping. Our room looked into a courtyard and was very quiet. Bathroom and furnishings were modern and functional. Breakfast was 10 euros and was very good. Staff […] was very courteous and tried to be helpful. Weaknesses: - we stayed on the non-smoking floor. We tried two rooms, but both had strong odors. In one room it was because people had smoked (not the hotel's fault.) In the other, it seemed to be more a mildew odor caused by water being tracked from the bathroom into the main room. Fortunately, the windows opened, so we could air out the room. The carpets should be replaced. - it was hot - 37 C - during our visit, and the air conditioning couldn't keep up. Fortunately, Madrid cools off at night so we just kept the window open. - none of the staff seemed to know about local restaurants, and the one recommendation they gave us was bad. "Gran Versalles - quiet location near business area"
In the heat of summer, rooms were cool even without air conditioning. Easy access to business district and lovely restaurants. Fantastic breakfast selection. Would definitely use again. Excellent value for money.
