Hotel molto carino e semplice. Simpatica l'idea di esporre dei quadri in vendita all'interno della struttura. Le terme sono praticamente attaccate ed accessibili direttamente dall'hotel. Le ho trovate molto belle e rilassanti, anche se gli appassionati del genere potrebbero trovarne alcune molto più sofisticate nei paragi. Come in tutte le altre terme della zona è obbligatorio dimenticarsi del costume!
Posizione
Designhotel Maastricht - Hampshire Eden sorge nel cuore di Maastricht. Non lontando da questo hotel nei pressi dell'aeroporto si trovano i seguenti luoghi di interesse: Centre Ceramique, Stadhuis e Onze Lieve Vrouwe Basiliek.

"fantastic hotel at the best location"

"Good hotel - needs a little lift"
Nice hotel, close to the centre, central station and in a nice neighborhood. The hotel itself looks really nice from the inside once you walk in. Good lobby, nice staff. The room itself is good, but the refurbishing was half finished. So, it looked really trendy in the bedroom, the bathroom was still a little old fashioned. "Close to the railway station and pizza place"
The Eden Design is ideally situated. Near to the railway station and not far from the river. The hotel is clean and bright with helpful staff. The only downside was that we had to sleep with the balcony window open because even with the radiator switched off it was stiflingly hot. The pizza place on the next corner served pizzas to die for. "Eden Designhotel Maastricht"
Although the hotel was clean and in a good location near the train station, we would consider it the least desirable hotel of the seven we stayed in during our 14 nights in the Netherlands. The decorations and color of the rooms and carpeting was tacky, cheap, plastic looking. The only color in our room was black and white with far more black than white. […] The bathroom was across the hall from our room. The price for breakfast was more than twice what we experienced at other hotels. This place may have appeal to a very young crowd, but not anyone over 30. With so many old charming hotels at similar prices, levels of service and accomidations, I would recommend considering them first. Despite the hotel, we liked the city. It is very fashionable. The shopping is great if looking for stylish cloths. The restruants were great. The train ride to get to Maalstrcht was very enjoyable and allows one a differt view of Holland than around Amsterdam, Den Haag, and Rotterdam. Continua a leggere

"Nice stay - with a few remarks"
The location is great, especially when arriving by train: 10 min walk from city center and 1 minute from the train station. Also, it's in the more quiet part of town. What disappointed us a bit was the fact that we had to choose between having a room with a/c or a balcony - both was not possible according to staff, because then guests would run th ea/c […] with the balcony door open. This of course is nonsense: many hotels have the feature that when opening the dor, the a/c shut off automatically. And it was really hot during our stay (34 C), but a regular fan brought some relive. Also, the room coudl have been cleaned better - there was a lot of dust under the bed. On the upside, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the hotel has some charme. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay. Continua a leggere
"Eden Design Hotel, Maastricht - hot stuff"
On arrival I was surprised to find that the "comfort room" I'd booked did not include aircon. I had to upgrade at a cost of 20EUR/night as it was very warm weather. However my room turned out to be air conditioned but windowless! This compromise was OK but slightly bizarre in a supposedly 4 star hotel. The rooms are interestingly styled - I was in […] "Bollinger" which had a champagne theme and zebrano style panelling everywhere. The bed was relatively comfortable although even with aircon it was still hot and I could have done with just a sheet rather than the 13 tog duvet... Service at the desk was friendly and helpful - the bar/restaurant was quite nice too, although its claim to be styled like a Frenche brasserie was mystifying. I would stay here again, but perhaps in cooler weather, and make sure that I was paying for aircon up front. Continua a leggere

"Gutes und zentrales Hotel mit einigen Nachteilen"
Der Aufenthalt war relativ gut. Das Bett war i.O., das Bad hatte ausreichende Utensilien. Lediglich die Tür hat vom Bad gefehlt!!! "Design"-mässig interessant, aber sehr unzweckmässig. Die Vorhänge waren nicht ausreichend lang, daher am Morgen kam das Licht direkt aufs Gesicht. Frühstück war ziemlich ok. Lage ziemlich gut.

"Designhotel Hampshire Eden"
Het hotel ligt bijzonder centraal. Het design aspect staat echter niet gelijk aan een hoog comfort niveau. Zo was onze kamer 's nachts veel te warm. Enige afkoeling was alleen te verkrijgen door het raam open zetten, maar van buiten kwam vervolgens een bijzonder irritant bromgeluid wat de nachtrust danig verstoorde. De bedden waren prima, maar een kledingkast […] ontbrak op onze kamer. Het personeel was wisselend behulpzaam of onverschillig, met uitzondering van de dame bij het ontbijt. Zij deed ons alle onverschillige collega's onmiddellijk vergeten door haar vriendelijke begroeting iedere ochtend weer. Continua a leggere

Leuk hotel, dicht nabij het station en centrum. Ideaal voor koppels, wel jammer van het raam tussen de badkamer en het bed.

"Bra hotell - dårlig renhold"
Renholdet på rommet var gjennomgående dårlig den uka vi bodde der. Allerede da vi kom, så vi ansamlinger av støv ("hybelkaniner") enkelte steder, og disse ble bare delvis fjernet. Plater på glassbord var støvete hele uka, og vi registrerte at badekaret ikke ble vasket daglig slik seg hør og bør. En forkostpris på nesten 20Euro er også i overkant, sspesielt […] når man kan spise en bedre middag på byen til samme pris. 12-14 Euro ville vært et rimelig og akseptabelt nivå. Continua a leggere

"Geweldig hotel, geweldige locatie"
* verblijf in een moderne mediumkamer nr 407 * Na verscheidene vrij negatieve beoordelingen van voorgaande hotelgasten te hebben gelezen gingen wij volledig verwachtingloos ons hotelbezoek tegemoet. Niets van deze negativiteit bleek minder waar. We hadden een prachtig mooie schone ruime hotel kamer, met een ruim bad, een afgesloten toiletruimte, een […] minibar en uitzicht over de binnenstad. Kamer was voorzien van een waterkoker, theezakjes, oploskoffie, shampoo, badschuim, douchegel en bodylotion. Binnenkomst van het hotel is niet erg chique, lijkt erg op een sportkantine, maar desondanks waren wij erg tevreden over het hotel. De ligging is uiteraard ook perfect, midden in het stadscentrum. Wij hebben onze auto alleen niet geparkeerd in de garage van het hotel, maar op de P+R van het treinstation (3 min lopen van hotel) Dit scheelt de helft van de prijs. Continua a leggere

De eerste kamer had een bed dat extreem doorzakte. De service was prima, een andere kamer gekregen. Service dus goed, maar behalve op de stagiaire na, ook wel sterk bedrijfsmatig, onpersoonlijk.

de kamer was wel heel basic. we misten bv shampoo , douche mutsen waterglazen. in de badkamer zouden er een paar haakjes bij kunnen en de verlichting bij de spiegel is niet goed. ook een waterkoker met zakjes thee of koffie werd door ons gemist. we vonden de prijs voor een ontbijt te hoog. bovendien vonden we de prijs kwaliteit per nacht zonder ontbijt […] , niet kloppen. daar kwam ook de toeristenbelasting nog bij. we hebben er wel begrip voor dat tijdens optreden van Andre Rieu de prijzen iets hoger liggen. de bedden waren goed en de mensen waren aardig. "Eden Designhotel Maastricht"
Hotel bien situé, près de la gare, et donc à distance de marche du centre-ville. Des commerces et restaurants sont présents aux alentours. L'hotel en lui-même est décevant, et ne mérite certainement pas ses 4 étoiles. La chambre que nous avions étai extrêmement bruyante. Bruit de la rue principale, du aux chassis très mal insonorisés, et bruits venant […] du couloir. En mentionnant ceci à la réception, ils nous ont dit qu'ils ne pouvaient rien y faire. En outre, la chambre (n°303) n'était pas très propre. Poussière, très visible car littéralement mise en lumière par des spots, et moquette douteuse. Le ménage n'a en outre pas été fait d'un jour à l'autre. Je ne recommande donc pas cet hotel. Il en existe surement d'autres plus agréables à Maastricht. Continua a leggere

Eten bij restaurant Flo is een aanrader. Hotel is matig. Zorg ervoor dat je een kamer krijgt met voldoende licht! Wij hadden een kamer met uitzicht op een blinde muur.

Hice una pregunta fácil hacia uno de los recepcionistas de este hotel y me sentí engañado. Unicamente queria saber si existia la posibilidad de acceder al aeropuerto en autobus, tal y como yo habia llegado al hotel. Amablemente, me ofrecio un taxi ya que, según esta persona del hotel, no existia ningun tipo de autobus que te transportase hacia el aeropuerto […] y, a la fuerza teniamos que llamar a un taxi. Fui personalmente hacia la parada de autobuses, y todo el mundo supo explicarme que el autobus que iba hacia el aeropuerto era "X" y que salia cada "X" horas. Pienso, que si se es de esta ciudad, y aun trabajando en un hotel, se debe tener cierta informacion y no engañar a un cliente que duerme dentro de su propio hotel. Major advantage of this hotel is its geographical location. If you arrive to Maastricht late at night by train, you will find this very useful. However sincerely talking we did not find any other positive traits of this hotel. The standard room is actually poorly decorated, the staff friendliness is average (they seemed tense most of the time). The […] worst part about our stay was the hotel tidiness. The room's walls, floor and bathroom were quite untidy looking. There were strange and unattractive dirt splashes all over floor and walls. "Prima ligging voor weekendje Maastricht"
De kamer van prima maar klein en erg basic. Goeie bedden maar wel gehorig op de gang. Parkeren is goed geregeld. Perfecte ligging voor shopping en genoeg eettentjes in de buurt.

Dette hotellet hadde alt. God pris, bra service, herlig komfort og stilige hotellrom. Frokosten var utmerket og beliggenheten var bra. Den ligger rett ved togstasjonen, i en koselig gate. Det ligger masse gode resturanter og kafèer i nærheten, og det tar 5 minutter å gå til sentrum. Dette hotellet kan anbefales på det meste!

Vanwege een zakenreis, verbleef ik kortdurend in het Eden Hotel. De beoordelingen liepen uiteen en omdat ik een compact kamer had, wist ik niet wat ik kon verwachten. Al met al was ik blij verrast. Prima hotel, hoewel nergens staat aangegeven waar de fitness is (4e verdieping), en hoe je moet inloggen voor het gratis internet (wachtwoord via de receptie). […] Kamer was groter dan verwacht, en van alle gemakken voorzien (incl koelkastje en bureau). De prive-badkamer zat recht tegenover de kamer, dus je moest de gang over, maar dit was mij vantevoren gemeld, en gezien de kwaliteit van de badkamer, had ik hier helemaal geen problemen mee. Mijn kamer was redelijk netjes en schoon, de gangen zijn wellicht aan onderhoud toe. Al met al voor de prijs, een prima verblijf gehad. Continua a leggere

hotel is uitstekend, personeel is vriendelijk en ontbijt goed verzorgd. Champagne hoeft niet voor mij. Enige minpuntje in onze mooie design kamer (nr.105) is dat het toilet geen duer heeft. In het kleinste kamertje vind ik een privacy wel belangrijk.

Service was ok, The hotel itself was in a state of working for that it didn't look nice at all. The room was smaller than we thought, we had no privacy at all as the balcony was shared with the neighbours. There was no airco in the room so we had to leave the window to the balcony open ( we could hear everything the neighbours were doing or saying). […] If we wanted to sit outside we would look right into the room of the others.
