We had a lovely stay.One little problem was that the toilet overflowed all over the bathroom floor and into the hallway at 5:00AM,due to the "clapper" not working properly .We immediately called the front desk,and an engineer came to help us out.We were moved to another nearby room. Excellent grounds. Very beautiful and relaxing. Service crew couldn't care less about you. But if you want a pool and palm trees for a good price, this is a good deal. We'll probably go back.

Clean, beautiful hotel. Friendly staff. If I'm ever in Scottsdale again, this is the hotel I'll be staying at.

This is an upscale hotel at a reasonable price. Lots of restaurant options, lovely pool setting. Can't beat a free warm cookie at checkin!

you need to make the toilet more convinent and your toilet paper roll in a more accessable position.

Courteous staff, property was well maintained. Aging property. We had a quiet room and the bed was comfortable. Bathroom small and not easy for two people to use together.

I have to say we were extremely pleased overall with the Doubletree ! The front desk personel were more than helpful and friendly. The hotel is beautiful; from the grounds to the rooms. We have finally found where we sill stay from now on while in Scottsdale.

The main swimming pool and hot tub were out of order and the south hot tub was not maintaining temperature. I WILL NOT STAY HERE AGAIN! We were here for a marathon and these are critical items to be made aware of when scheduling.

I like to stay here. Large quiet rooms, friendly staff.

I never know when I book through an on line service if the hotels provide you with poorer service or less desirable rooms. We stayed for a whole week, checked in when almost no one else was in the hotel and still were placed in the back corner of the hotel by the rear parking lot. A family member came in later in the week and booked through hotel and […] was poolside. House keeping in terms of the bedding and bathroom were fine but never were there any fresh glasses replaced, even when I left them in the sink they were merely placed back up on the counter top. We did not eat in the restaurant except for one meal that was room service and the food was dry and tasteless. The hotel was close to where we wanted to be and the neighbourhood was nice. If you are planning to be in the area for any length of time you definitely need a car. Continua a leggere

Biggest comPlaint I would have is that the rooms don't have wifi and it's hard to get cell service in the room. Other than that I loved my stay at Double Tree and would stay there again.

For the price, the hotel does not live up to its reviews. The hallways and parts of the rooms are run down and in need of painting. The carpeting needs to be cleaned or replaced. The tub in my room spewed dirty water and the toilet did not flush properly. The housekeeping crew was good, but overall I was disappointed.

This was a very enjoyable stay. I was in town for a golf trip and the hotel was conveniently located. Rooms were clean and comfortable, hotel staff were most accomodating and service was great.

When we arrived in our car there was no valet to be found. Then we had to pay for our internet and it was not wireless so we were forced to sit at the desk. The noise was horrible, you could hear the neighbor using the facilities. For the price of the hotel it was not worth it. There is more nice hotels in the area. The room looked like Motel 6

The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. There is free internet and shuttle service 2 miles radius of the hotel. We found the room very nice and the only concern was the low water pressure in the shower. Plus the toliet was not flushing property. Will stay at the hotel again.

Spacious, clean room. Nice, comfortable small terrace. Delicious breakfast and room service dinners at reasonable prices. Understaffed front desk that leads to long lines and wait times. Otherwise, very helpful and pleasant staff, with the exception of the concierge who had no useful suggestions to make with regard to visiting Phoenix but made a spiteful […] grimace when told about a tour booked with a local company and said that she, personally, prefers another agency. This was a great hotel and a great experience. It is blocks away from Old Town Scottsdale and Fashion Square Mall. There are many great restaurants around the hotel. The pools were great. We were able to experience both of them. The main pool was busy all day and night but the smaller pool had less people. The bar was good and the bartender was not […] that nice to the girls, but very nice to the guys. She was nice enough to put in a last minute order of nachos for us and they were pretty good. The girls at the front desk were very helpful and considerate enough to let us check out later at no cost. The only concern I would have is the parking if there is an event. There was a wedding on one of the nights we were there and their guests took up ALL of the parking. The grounds are beautiful. Yes there are some cacti and desert wildlife but its only in certain areas, and they are presented in a botanical garden kind of way. The rest of the resort is full of grass and palm trees. We only stayed for 1 night, and we didn't get the opportunity to check out a lot of the amenities, such as the pool, spa, etc. However, the room was fantastic, the room service was excellent (and the food was very good too), and everything was very clean and nice. Check-in/Check-out was a breeze too. Only complaint I guess would be the apparent lack […] of parking. The room was spacious, clean, and the beds wonderful. The staff was courteous and friendly. The hotel pleasant and well maintained.

The room was very clean. We were very disappointed that the internet had a charge in our room. Yes in the lobby, the internet is free, but as much as you spend on the room, you should be able to have free internet in the room. With having a paper due for my masters class, I spent all my time in the lobby instead of with my family.

That was my second time staying in that Hotel & I was a bit dissaspointed in the service & the room. I gues they forgot to clean the coffee maker the sheets and they left a cracked glass in our bathroom, its a great hotel but I gues things happen. Staff did NOT go out of their way to help with the sheets but.. oh well.

Comfortable room with all the emenities. Refrigerator, Mini Bar, Microwave. Coffe Pot. Pool and landscape is beautiful. Quite and easy acess to Fashion Square -Shopping and great resturants. Downside, Patio furniture off the room was broken and needed to be replaced. Both chairs.

Nice hotel. Beautiful pool. Very large grounds so be prepared to walk to your room. We booked through Hotels.com and found that we were treated like "budget" travelers. For example, where other guests got complimentary perks, we didn't. Also, I'd requested a king and didn't get it until I complained. This resort is a fantastic destination for a holiday. It is perfectly located - 5 minutes to Old Town Scottsdale, 2 minutes to Fashion Square, the Waterfront and restaurants. It's so easy to get around! We stayed in a huge room with 2 queen beds, bathroom with tub, and a patio overlooking the pool. Spectacular! Rooms (and resort) were consistently clean […] as was the pool. The fitness center had new equipment...treadmills, elliptical machines, squash court, weights, fitness machines, steam room, massage rooms. Irecommend this hotel...the location is exelent...and the beds ..very conforable...

We had the best night sleep ever! The rooms are spacious, and immaculate, and the staff is extremely helpful and polite. The pool area is gorgeous, however they only had one person that could take food and drink orders, and she was overwhelmed with the task. We actually had to leave the premises to get lunch! Even with a "Do not Disturb" sign on the door the house keeper decided to knock, then open the door at 8:50am to clean. When told to the hotel, they just said sorry. Definately will never stay there again.

This hotel is located in close proximity to Old Town. It has two wonderful pools with hot tubs. There are cabanas and umbrellas for shade. Pool towels are in abundance and the area is constantly being maintained by staff. The grounds are very well maintained with trees and potted flowers. The room was spacious and the beds were extremely comfortable. […] We were impressed by the fitness center which contains high end exercise machines and a large weight room. A steam room and hot tub are also available at the fitness center which is opened 24 hrs. The food was also very good at the restaurant. We would highly recommend this hotel. Continua a leggere

Beautiful surroundings and comfortable accommodations in a great location. Mostly everyone was nice except a young woman at the front desk who was not very personable or service oriented and unfortunately for me always seemed to be there when I needed something. Overall however, I enjoyed my stay and would go back.

The room was clean and spacious. Great beds. Great service, no complaints. Pool areas were great. Overall a very pleasant experience. I'd stay there again, great value for a great price in an ideal location.

Really comfortable bed. Clean, but had trouble getting our room cleaned daily. Nice place though. Great fitness room and resturant. Good room service too. Would stay here again.

An excellent hotel with great amenities. probably a little pricey but for the quality of the room and the service it was great. Pools were very nice. Grounds were very clean and well maintained. Overall a very nice hotel. Hope to stay there again.

While we are far from poor, we often stay at places like Super 8 or similar; I hate to spend money for simply sleeping. But my wife insisted on the Doubletree Resort at Scottsdale. She was right. The place is lovely; the staff was extremely nice and attentive; the breakfasts were incredible; and the pools (plural) and environs were marvelous. A very […] nice stay. Everything about the Doubletreee met or exceed our expectations. Checkin was a breeze. The hotel was not full so we request and recieved a nice upgrade. The room was on the ground floor facing a beautiful pool area. We also received a comp breakfast buffet vocher that was a nice plus. we didn't dine in the hotel restuarant because we were visiting our […] son who is a chef at a local resturant.
