"Great Value in Las Vegas"
I've been staying at the Palace Station for the last few visits to Las Vegas. My parent's are elderly, and don't get into the hype of the Strip, and wanted something that was all inclusive. The Palace Station is a great compromise. Close enough to get back to the strip, but far enough away to miss the hustle. Be warned about the 'resort tax' which can […] add quite a bit to the cost of the room, which isn't included when you book the room online Continua a leggere
"Way off the beaten track"
Terrible, Courtyard annex, dirty, old, worn out, no coffee maker and none available for Courtyard rooms. Difficulty geting a fridge, despite requesting one in advance.Generally hotel is old and in need of a lot of work and renovation.
"good value for 1 night stay"
The room price was a good value. A little wait at registration and the room smelled like smoke after I asked for non-smoking. Room was next to the lobby so there was some noise coming from hallway. But for a short stay, it was a good value.
"cool affordable alternative"
great pool and pool area with awesome privacy and hottub. casino is fun, but too many asians. no diversity except at pool
"Nice but hidden charges"
There is a Blue Sky Profit that the Station hotels add called Resort fee. This was a $16+ per night added to the room rate. They claim it is a charge for airport shuttle, shuttle to the strip and other various things that included in the room rates or other hotels. This fee is a little hard to find and is easy to find after the room is booked. I stayed […] one night on this occation and did not use any of there so called resort fee services. There are other hotels who have tried this in the past and it has gotten rid of their repeat business. Continua a leggere
Staff very helpful and friendly. Covered parking a plus. Internet service was a problem. The hotel computer kept trying to make extra charges. Rooms do not have a refrigerator. An older facility but the facilities staff were attentive.

"Won't Get Fooled Again"
I have stayed at the Palace Station in the Tower Rooms (newer, nicer, and quieter) and in the Courtyard Garden Rooms. I thought I would go cheaper and save some money, but the Courtyard is definitely not worth it, especially for a week long stay.
The hotel put me in the two story cheap area which was very dusty.
"Great place to stay on a budget w/ amenities"
The hotel was clean, and had comfortable beds. I was passing through onto Utah, so this was a great choice for travelers. I wouldn't recommend the hotel for a vacation, only because the Las Vegas experience is better suited for the strip- but the trip was great. The Casino had great single-card blackjack with (Lincoln Bill) min bets... try to find that […] on the strip :) The Buffet was EXCELLENT. There was food made to order and good ol' buffet style foods. The price was great as well- less than for the buffet- Outstanding. I recommend this hotel for the "passing-thru" and the budget-minded traveler. Very clean, and great food with amenities. "Courtyard section - OK"
For the price, can't beat it. Only comment on cleanliness, carpets needed cleaning, other than that, OK. Nice place.
"Good for the price"
Good for the price and even if we paid a hotel service additional fee (including internet access)
"Casino Nice, Hotel OK"
This was our first stay at a "Station" casino/hotel property & it may be our last. The hotel room was nice, albeit a bit cramped, and there was only one chair in the room, so we were forced to watch TV while sitting on the bed. The room was well-appointed, clean and beautiful. The bathroom was attractive, but there was extremely little counter space, […] and the shower was strange: the showerhead points straight down and it was low - barely 6', which meant I had to shower with bent knees. Very difficult and uncomfortable. The casino was large, and had a very good diversity of slot games to select from, although the payouts were low compared to other casinos in the area. Restaurants were so-so - good food, but not a great price nor large diversity. The so-called Business Center, which is charged separately from the room, was the worst I have ever experienced in 30+ years travel. The casino cashiers will not exchange coinage for paper money - you must use a machine which charges 8% fee, and that is downright unacceptable. Many of the slot machines were dirty, and several did not work properly. All-in-all, our stay was less than spectacular and I sincerely doubt we will stay again in our future trips to Las Vegas. "Watch Out"
The room was very bad, This must be an overflow area, the room rate was inexpensive but then you get hit with a $16.50 a day resort fee. I guess they figure out a way to always make there money back. Its pretty funny that all stations casinos or any major property owner here in las vegas charge different for the resort fees. How is that so?
"Don't believe the bargain rate!"
I was satisfied with all details about my stay at this hotel except for the fact that the room rate posted with hotels.com did not match what I actually ended up having to pay. The extra amount that was not charged through hotels.com was charged as an additional fee payable at check-in.
Overall OK. Probably wouldn't bring my family here, but for business travel it was just fine. The casino was VERY smoke filled! Other than that, a pleasant stay.
The hotel was adequate. Nothing fancy. Courtyard does not have an elevator. For the price, I would stay there again.

"mediocre at best.."
staff was great very accomodating.. hotel fees per night was higher than price per night for the room.. that was very disappointing!!
"Not as hectic as on the strip"
Service was great all inquiries handled with pleasure and speed.

Rooms were nice and convenient, annoyed with resort fees and the amount of time it took to check in!
"Our stay at the Palace station"
A comfy, clean room and hotel. Friendly staff and great buffet breakfast.

i WOULD NOT MAKE IT A REPEAT DESTINATION. ONLY 1 OF THE FOUR RESTAURANTS WAS WORTH THE VALUE. THE BUFFET WAS VERY OVERPRICED FOR THE VARIETY OF ITEMS AVAILABLE.. THE BATHROOM DIDN'T EVEN HAVE A SINK BIG ENOUGH TO PUT ANY OF OUR TOILETRIES ON.THE VIEW OUT OUR WINDOW WAS A WALL OF THE NEXT BUILDING. THE CARPET WAS RIPPED AND THE T.V. WAS THE OLD FASHIONED […] BIG BOX. WENT TO VISIT A FAMILY MEMBER IN THE GOLDEN NUGGET - - SO MUCH NICER. Continua a leggere
"Palace Station Las Vegas"
Wonderful staff...great food...convienent shuttle service to/from the strip and airport...wonderful experiance :-)
"Beware"
If you select hotels by price, beware that they charge you an extra $16.00 to use services such as pool, faxing, bus to strip, but we used none of these services. I consider this a rip off. ...and it makes the initial price of the room misleading. Hotels.com does have this info. in the detail information. Very irritating. I won't stay there again.
"Palace station in las vegas"
This hotel is very comfortable with good food and amenities, it's only draw back is it is not on the strip. However the hotel offers a more than adequate free bus shuttle service to and from the strip and the airport. Overall with the reasonable price, including free breakfast, and the more than adequate facilities, it makes this hotel a good value […] stay. Continua a leggere

"Palace Station Hotel in Las Vegas"
Service, friendliness, cleanliness, amenities and cost were a very good value for cost; we intentionally chose the hotel because it was off the strip and hear I-15 - convenient to our natural parks trips. The only concern we had was the musty smell in the hotel hallways

The hotel was great but I wish the desk person told more about what is included in the hotel deal such as the free breakfast & where it is allowed. I was greatly disappointed that there was not free internet as you can go to most motels & get it, You can go to Mc Donald's and get internet also, Why not with the Palace Station? Thanks
"palace station - worst hotel i've ever stayed at"
i've stayed at tons and tons of hotels... this was by far one of the worst i've ever stayed at. i would NOT recommend it.
The only problem I had was the smoking in the Casino.

"Hate the Resort Fee!!!!!"
The first room I was given in the Courtyard was moldy. I had a very hard time walking back to the front desk because of my ashma. I was sick the rest of Wed due to the mold. I hate the Resort Fee. Just state your room rate - don't lie about the rate. It room rate + resort fee = total cost. I know it is a profit center for you - still I look at total […] cost not just the lost leader. by the way hotels.com did not disclose the resort fee in their paperwork - made me very upset. "Pricing acknowledgements"
Your added charge should be added to, and included in your overall price. I did not like the fact that I thought I was staying in a much cheaper hotel rate when in fact it was actually 1/3 higher than the advertised price. This extra charge fir ammenidies I feel is hidden in the small print on the 3rd page. This charge ought to be up front right under […] the cost of the hotel per night. Don't deceive your customers. Best time ever! Love this place.. this time was perfect! I would give this place a 99.7% I usually rate any other at about 40% So as you can see.. I love Palace Station Casino. Try their Keno when you are there also The people that are working there are very friendly by Joshua
"Palace Station non - tower rooms SUCK...HORRIBLE"
Booking via Hotels.com or other third parties places you in something closer to a Motel. The rooms reserved here are in a run down 2 story filthy portion of the hotel, and on top of that, once you arrive, you are charged an additional $16+ per day even though it initally appears that you are paid in full. (READ THE SMALL PRINT). I was embarrassed, […] since I paid for my families stay as well. I will say that I spoke with JOSH at Hotels.com and he made it right as far as getting us into the better rooms in the towers, however, I was still stuck with an ADDITIONAL fee per day, and I was NOT happy about that at all. I will NEVER stay there again, although I will continue to book with Hotels.com. They treated me right. Thanks HOTEL.COM for keeping YOUR word...at least for the most part. At least my family got into a better room. Continua a leggere
"Palace Station"
I had a room in the courtyard "comfort at a discount rate" and it worked out to around 50 bucks a night including weekend for 5 nights. The room was fine, clean, comfortable, nice bathroom and non smoking. I had the front desk move me from the first room they gave me which was next to the pool pump etc(noise) and that was no problem. They were nice. […] Overall the best thing about the Palace was the convenient location. Parking was a breeze - I parked in the back parking deck - and never had much company there so i recommend that. Between my room and my car was their Starbucks. What more could you ask for budget accomodations? I even won a couple hundred at blackjack and the little bit of gambling i did at the Palace all the staff was friendly and accomodating. I recommend the place. It's great as long as you dont have high maintenance taste - the Bellagio it is not. Continua a leggere

"never stay in courtyard room!"
the courtyard rooms were aweful the bathroom had a fan louder than an alarm clock but on the plus side the regular hotel room were really nice great service and they have a low cost ($5 bfast) buffet and great food
"Room dirty, noisy, smell bad, Trash cans close."
Room was so bad that we had reservations for two nights. We could to survive only one and refuse to continue. You must pay a charge for facilities used or not. Take a look to the room before check in.

"Okay stay"
Nice freeway easy on/off. Didn't like the room setup clean and cheaper than the others. I would only stay there again if I had too.
"Palace Station"
We should have received hotel coupons upon check-in and there were no blankets on beds, we had to call down to Housekeeping. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and would return on another trip.

"Service Charges"
The room was a great promotional deal....but after waiting at the hotel desk to check in for 20 minutes, while they were "upselling" different packages available and more "upscale" rooms to the guests ahead of me in line, I was getting a little discouraged. I was NOT interested in any extras, so the gentleman handed me the paperwork to sign...and the […] service charges and taxes per night were MORE than the actual price of the room!! I was disgusted, but after a long drive, and a long wait in line...I finished the transaction, deciding not to stay there again. The food in the diner was fine, but skip the buffet......really dried out tasteless food! The room was fine, though quite a long, dark hallway, away from the larger part of the hotel and casino...something to remember, if you are walking to your room alone at night. Also, the WiFi and the room-in Internet connection is advertised at $5.95 per 24 hours....but for the GOOD connection....it's $12.95 a day! I opted for a Starbucks down the street to access my laptop. If you stay here....just do your homework before you go...so you know what you are getting into. Continua a leggere
