La colazione era poco varia e scarsa. Poco attenti alla pulizia dei tavoli nei cambi degli ospiti durante la colazione. La camera confortevole e pulizia giornaliera con cambio asciugamani e lenzuola a giorni alterni.

L'hotel 17 è un'ottima scelta per un soggiorno a New York, con un eccellente rapporto qualità rapporto/prezzo. La posizione è tra i suoi pregi migliori, logisticamente comodo per spostarsi anche a piedi sia verso il nord che verso il sud di manhattan, e il quartiere offre una vasta scelta di ristoranti e locali per cene e colazioni. Le camere sono abbastanza grandi e pulite, il bagno condiviso non lo abbiamo praticamente mai trovato occupato e sempre pulito.

L'hotel è nuovo e si trova in una buona posizione, a due passi dal Madison Square Garden e da Times square. La camera era grande ed i letti molto comodi. Uniche due pecche significative sono state, la wifi in camera funziona molto male (meglio nella lobby) e il pavimento che non è mai stato lavato (i calzini antiscivolo delle bambine erano neri dopo 5 minuti). Inoltre non vengono forniti accessori da bagno tipo le cuffie per fare la doccia.

Bellissima permanenza, punto ideale per visitare la città collegatissimo e a due passi dalla 5th. Camera non enorme ma comfortevole, sempre pulita e molto curata nell'arredamento. Albergo ad altissimo livello, se avete qualche soldino da spendere andateci. Enjoy NYC

In soli 10 minuti è possibile raggiungere il Rockefeller Center e godere di una vista mozzafiato dall'alto del Top of the Rock. Poco lontano si trovano i negozi più famosi della Fifth Avenue, un vero paradiso dello shopping che include Saks, Tiffany & Co., Bergdorf Goodman e l'affascinante cubo in vetro dell'Apple Store.
Al calar della sera ritorna all'Edison, dove splendidi murales dedicati alle viste più belle di New York ti daranno il benvenuto nella hall in stile Art Decò dell'hotel. Inizia la tua serata a teatro con una cena al Sofia's (il ristorante che ha debuttato sul grande schermo nel film Il Padrino) --o al Café Edison, una vera istituzione di Manhattan, dove potrai scorgere la tua star preferita di Broadway fare un pieno di energie prima dello spettacolo. Dopo lo spettacolo, concediti un bicchierino al Rum House, prima di entrare nello spirito della "Città che non dorme mai" e scatenarti al ritmo della musica dal vivo alla Edison Ballroom.
Concludi la serata all'insegna del relax. Nella tua camera potrai guardare un film a pagamento o approfittare della connessione wireless a Internet, disponibile in tutto l'albergo (a pagamento). L'hotel è realmente vicinissimo a Time Square, circa 200/300 mt. E' dotato di ampia hall, e di un ottimo servizio informazioni circa le migliori modalità per raggiungere le varie destinazioni. La ns stanza non era molto grande ma conteneva 2 letti matrimoniali, tv lcd e una piccolo vano ripostiglio. Il bagno molto piccolo era dotato di vasca con sifone […] doccia ed è sempre stato molto pulito. Nel complesso un albergo più che decoroso, pulito e assolutamente in posizione strategica. Se non siete alla ricerca di particolari soluzioni di confort o stilistiche E' ASSOLUTAMENTE da raccomandare. In oltre immediatamente di fianco all'ingresso c'è un market aperto 24h fornitissimo e sopratutto dove abbiamo fatto ottime colazioni (con prdotti freschi e confezionati da loro) a prezzi eccellenti. "Hotel Park Central - New York"
Bellissimo hotel, in zona centrale e a pochi minuti da Times Square e da Central Park. Le camere sono spazione, le pulizie vengono effettuate tutti i giorni, forse l'unica pecca è che non effettuano la sostituzione di shampoo e altro quando sono finiti. Io ho dovuto richiederli.
L'Hotel si trova a due passi da Times Square, in posizione quindi molto centrale, la connessione ad Internet è a pagamento, mentre in quasi tutti gli hotel è gratuita, le stanze non particolarmente spaziose, il bagno strettissimo, con la vasca scrostata, la colazione non è compresa nel prezo.

Hotel centrale ma vecchiotto. Lenzuola piuttosto lise, per non parlare della tappezzeria bucata delle poltrone in camera. Personale dell'hotel poco collaborante.

Abbiamo trascorso il periodo pasquale all' hotel Edison che e' a meno di 100 mt da Time Square quindi centralissimo. Avevo prenotato una camera de Luxe ma all' arrivo c'è stata assegnata una camera che non corrispondeva alle caratteristiche riportate in fotografia che per precauzione avevo appresso. Dopo essermi recato alla reception ed aver mostrato […] la foto, si sono scusati e ci hanno assegnato la camera giusta. L' albergo e' stato costruito nel 1931 quindi un po' datato. Comunque pulito ed il personale è molto gentile e disponibile. Sconsiglio la colazione al buffet dell' albergo al piano terra. A 200 mt dall' albergo abbiamo trovato un locale "Majestic" 200 West 50th St. ( Angolo 7th Avenue) che offre una vasta qualità di prodotti e torte squisitissime. provare assolutamente il cheese cake ! Nelle vicinanze dell' albergo Hard Rock e Red Lobster per pranzo e cena sono l' ideale. Continua a leggere

Ottima posizione e le caratteristiche dell'hotel rispecchiano fedelmente quanto descritto nel sito. La posizione è strategica (poche decine di metri da Times Square) e costituisce il punto di partenza per tutte le direzioni (due isolati dalla 5 strada per esempio). Da consigliare assolutamente.
Posizione perfetta; camera molto piccola; bagno ok; letto piccolo; cuscini scomodi; manutenzione camera ok; personale reception a volte sgradevole. Tutto sommato ci ritornerei.

"Splendido soggiorno a New York"
Abbiamo soggiornato per sette notti dal 13 al 20 febbraio presso l'Edison Hotel. Il check-in è stato velocissimo, non ci è stata richiesta alcuna carta di credito e siamo stati sistemati nella stanza 1418 al quattordicesimo piano. Stanza ampia con finestra sulla 47th e letto king-size comodissimo, dotato di tre cuscini. Nonostante la posizione, praticamente […] a Times Square, la stanza è risultata abbastanza silenziosa. La struttura è un po' datata, ma a nostro parere il rapporto/qualità prezzo è ottimo soprattutto in virtù della fantastica posizione dell'hotel. Hotel che dispone inoltre di un cafè/restaurant dove è possibile fare delle ottime colazioni, sia per quantità che per qualità, a prezzi decisamente ragionevoli. Camera con due letti king size per 3 persone, molto spaziosa, con bagno con vasca/doccia tutto alquanto "datato" ma molto pulito. Essendo sul lato strada era un pò rumorosa, ma accettabile. Certo non è il migliore degli hotel,la moquette penso che sia da un pò che non vede l'aspirapolvere e le lenzuola sono un pò consumate e gialline, ma la sua posizione è fantastica,praticamente è a 50 metri da Time Square,cose vuole uno di più dalla vita dopo tutto ci si deve solo dormire in hotel mica ci si deve vivere!!!!Lo consiglio a coloro che hanno […] poche pretese.Sai che vi dico io ci tornerei!!! L'hotel è praticamente in Time Square, le stanze sono abbastanza piccole ma decentemente pulite. Cambio lenzuolo e biancheria quotidiano. Ottimo per chi New York la vuole vivere e non resta in Hotel.

L'hotel é molto carino, confortevole in una posizione davvero comoda per girare la città: si trova proprio dietro Time Square!

struttura datata. le camere de luxe di de luxe hanno solo il nome....appena giunto mi hanno proposto un budello de luxe e solo su mia sollecitazione mi han dato una camerfa piu grabde ma sempre nello stesso stile - l'hotel è situato a 30 metri da time square...da questo punto di vista eccezionale....

My stay was great! The building has been under renovation for some time now so there are some daytime work type noises, This is such an awesome building withsuch an awesome staff though that I'm glad for the renovations however noisy!!
We were awakened at 3 a.m. one night with a jack-hammer above our heads. Apparently for urgent repairs. Still trying to get a reimbursement for that night.

Rooms looked great online! But when you actually see the hallway and rooms very disappointed! For what we paid.

We would do it again for sure. We came to NY wanting to see a couple of shows and one of our theaters was literally next door to the Edison. Made it really easy to fly in and see a show the same night. The room wasn't all that nice, but it wasn't gross. It's just an older building, you know? But overall, very satisfied.
I would stay there again... great stay for price.

This hotel was fine for the price and location, for a business trip where I just slept there and spent all my time elsewhere. Nothing fancy or particularly attractive, but clean. Front desk staff were very competent and friendly.

One of the worst experiences I've had with a hotel. The nightly cost was satisfactory, but upon examination of the room, I was apalled. Very depressing, small, old, and unclean. WiFi didn't work, despite having to pay for it! I requested another room, and front- desk staff unwillingly provided me one - which was not much better. Front-desk staff is […] worth noting. Room was very clean. Shower ran either very hot or very cold, and that would switch back and forth on a whim. Desk/reception staff were cold, but doormen, concierge, safety/security staff were excellent. Our room was double-booked, but staff took care of this quickly and efficiently. Walls were thin, we could hear pipes of neighboring showers. The pub […] was superb, very comfortable and safe. The Edison was the just the right location for us as I was in New York to see a Broadway play. Everyone at the hotel was very nice, and the only negative was that the room and bathroom I was in was old and in great need of refreshing. The bath tub had stains and the room was dark with drab and dark fabrics.

Based on other reviews, perhaps other floors are being remodeled, but the 16th floor is not.

While the price tag at the Edison may seem reasonable for the location, don't expect the same value for your money as other cities. The front desk service was slow, rooms and amenities are decent but nothing to write home about, and the shower fluctuates temperature wildly. "Not what we expected"
The room was about half the size of what was shown in the pictures. The bed was falling apart and the mattress had indentations of all previous guests (you could actually see this indentation while the bed was fully made). The hot water took over 10 minutes in the shower. The woman in the room next to us was coughing like she was dying and the walls […] were so thin, it kept us up all night. There is only one ice machine on the 2nd floor in a flooded closet. We booked the Queen bed room but I think they gave us the double. "Great location, not so great rooms"
The location was great, the lobby is great, even the bathrooms in the lobby were great. The rooms have not been updated at all. The bedding is exceptionally old and the carpet is very dingy. There was one outlet in my entire room and I had to move the bed out to access it. The cellphone signal is horrible and even the wireless (you have to pay for it) […] is not a great signal. Edison is a great hotel. It was quiet and close to times square. It has a cool bar and a nice dinner. The room was big with a huge walk in closet. The bed was awesome making it tough to get up the next day!!!!! I highly recommend the Edison.

"Last minute booking"
The location is spot on. Lobby sitting area was simple old elegance. Not the Intercontinental but also,not their price. Room size was sufficient, I think the room was fine and clean but I definitely would rearrange the furniture differently to utilize the space properly :)And replace the lamp shades that had waterstains.Maybe this room was not remodeled […] yet. Tiny bathroom but surprisingly plenty of room to put out stuff. No body lotion. They are remodeling so I would love to see it finished. Front desk was helpful, manager was there to assist and took charge.No coffee maker in room.Not alot of outlets. Small LCD TV. Large,busy,slow Starbucks across the street. The only thing is that the hallways reminded me of was an old apartment building. Overall for this price and location, we would definitely stay there again. Do something with hallways.
