Bellissima posizione ambiente gradevole grande ospitalità e vera gentilezza da parte del personale e dei volontari. Per una cinquantenne come me certo ogni tanto le molte giovani sono un po' rumorose ma per il costo si può davvero sopportare...

Buona opzione per chi abbia voglia di passare qualche giorno a Chicago a prezzo ragionevolissimo senza restare rintanato in camera (si veda più in là). L'hotel (forse meglio chiamarlo Motel) ha una posizione ideale, è a 10 min a piedi dal centro, a 2 passi da 2 linee di Metrò e facilmente raggiungibile in auto. Camera parecchio fredda per via del riscaldamento renitente (soggiorno in novembre). Ci tornerei! Di fronte alla reception baretto "caratteristico"con colazioni su misura

"Hotel Holiday Inn O'Hare di Chicago"
Si tratta di una soluzione molto comoda per chi resta in città pochi giorni e prevalentemente per lavoro: l'hotel si trova infatti vicino all'aeroporto, effettua servizio di navetta gratuita da/per l'aeroporto 24h/24h, ha la connessione internet gratuita in tutte le stanze, parcheggio gratuito, ecc. Se invece siete diretti a Chicago per motivi turistici, […] sappiate che l'hotel è piuttosto lontano dal centro. Tuttavia, si trova in prossimità della Blu Line (3 minuti a piedi), che in 35 minuti vi porta nel Loop e vi collega con tutte le altre linee di trasporto pubblico della città. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo è abbastanza equilibrato tenendo conto dei prezzi medi degli hotel in città. Alcune stanze sono un po' fatiscenti, altre migliori. Ovunque trovate la moquette, non proprio il massimo se avete allergie agli acari o alla polvere. Il buffet della colazione è un po' ripetitivo e non particolarmente ricco (se scegliete la colazione compresa nel prezzo, altrimenti è alla carta), così come il menù per la cena. "Nice Place"
This was a nice hotel. The rooms were clean and nice. There was a frig in the room which is always great when traveling with kids. This hotel had some awesome water pressure in the shower too. "Poor sleeping"

"Comfy and Close to L"
Everything was as expected.Our only critism was how loud the restaurant/bar was. We could hear it on the second floor, which is where our room was. Very loud when you come into the lobby too. "Good for the price"
Got stuck in chicago for two extra days because of weather. First day the airline took care of a night in the Renaissance and then second night we stayed at the HI because it was less expensive. t was good, but the hotel front desk person misdirected my party to our location downtown. We ended up walking around for 2 hours trying to find the place. Also, the eggs at breakfast were not acceptable. They tasted like egg beaters. Location was great since its right next to the highway. I saw reviews saying this hotel wasn't very cleanly but I beg to differ. This hotel in general was very clean and the room was amazing. "Good Business Trip Hotel"
I am in hotels over 200 nights a year, and this Holiday Inn Express easily met my expectation. Room was clean, comfortable and modern. Great stay, though the location was slightly inconvenient based on visiting the convention center. Most hotels by the convention center were walking distance, however this was not. It was however a very quick 5 min drive. The restaurant/bar was very convenient, had a good selection of food, and service was great. My first time traveling to Chicago. In town on business for trade show and the front desk manager was very accommodating and helpful in my requests. The hotel was fine, but the rooms smelled. I had to change rooms on arrival because the first smelled like a sour mop. The second room, which i stayed in was stale smelling. An older hotel with an updated outside, the interior could use a bit of work. The plastic cups in the bathroom were defective - thus causing water to spill all over the countertop. The staff was friendly and efficient but the property needs a major refresh. Lounge chairs in the lobbyare ragged, carpet in the hallways is stained and well past its useful life. Nice, clean modern rooms with all the amenities. Exercise room had good, clean equipment for cardio and decent weight machine. Off the lobby, Bar Louie might make you stay down out of your room if you're spending the night. "Nice Convienient Hotel"
Our Expedia deal included free breakfasts. First day was busy there with and asked about free breakfast and our server said no they didn't have that, so we ate and paid. Skipped eating there on second day because breakfast for two added up to $30 the day before. So, went on third day and waitress asked if we had a voucher for breakfast....went to front […] desk and asked and received voucher for the next 2 days. My fault probably for not asking at check in. "Didn't get the room I wanted"
Requested a non-smoking king through hotels.com and when I got there, there were none available except for a handicapped accessible room. All other kings were smoking rooms. The handicapped accessible room was just a little awkward for me, with the shower stream hitting me below the stomach, it was that low. Probably good for some people, but not for […] me, and I had requested that specific room well in advance, so that was a bit annoying. We made reservations two weeks in advance. Hotel was busy with conferences or something, so the lobby was always loud, staff was busy giving people directions to places (hello, phone, gps?) and I was generally dissatisfied with my stay. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The restaurant was fine with simple and tasty food. I was in a workshop held in the hotel and was pleased with the amenities it had all I needed. The room was ok, housekeeping left an empty beer bottle in the corner on the floor. They have 24 hour available transportation available so I called for their 30 min time frame and after 45 min we just started walking. They never came that I know of.
