Ideale per turisti che devono riposare ogni tanto. Ottima localizzazione, in pieno centro. Personale servizievole. Manca una vera e propria hall ove ricevere eventuali ospiti. Camera piccola ma ospitale e pulita.

l hotel e comodo al centro e in posizione silenziosa le camera non sono assolutamente all' altezza di un 4 stelle , a me serviva x lavoro la linea internet ( ho 2 chiavette , vodafone e tim ) ma le camere o la posizione non permettevano una copertura, malgrado avessi fatto presente il problema e cambiato 3 camere i gestori non mi sono venuti incontro […] proponendomi l utilizzo gratuito della loro linea ( che altrimenti costa 2 euro x ora) cosa ormai usuale in alberghi di quella categoria. Sarebbe stato difficile trovare l'albergo se non avessimo prenotato la navetta dall'aeroporto, che è molto più economica rispetto a qualsiasi altro mezzo di trasporto. L'albergo era pulito e arredato finemente con marmi e oggetti dorati ovunque. La nostra stanza da letto era bellissima e situata al piano terra a causa del mio ginocchio malandato. Il […] bagno era più che sufficiente nonostante l'impianto idraulico lasciasse un po' a desiderare. La posizione era perfetta per raggiungere il Colosseo e la fontana di Trevi, mentre la fermata degli autobus turistici scoperti si trovava proprio dietro l'angolo. L'orario di tali autobus andava dalle 9 alle 21 di ogni giorno, mentre effettuava un percorso diverso la domenica. Pertanto, se si acquista un biglietto valido per 48 ore che includa anche la domenica, si potrà ottenere il massimo valore. Nel complesso un viaggio eccezionale ma non consigliato per chi soffre di problemi alle ginocchia o ai piedi (si può restare totalmente bloccati!). Continua a leggere

During our five night stay, we were happy with this hotel because the staff was, overall, quite friendly and helpful and the location is unbeatable. The breakfast buffet was very good and is served on a rooftop location with nice views. We would recommend that you insist on a room above the ground floor. As noted in other reviews of this hotel, some […] rooms on the ground floor are simply in an unacceptable condition. To their credit, the staff was responsive to our complaints when we were placed in one. The hotel would be well served to convert these rooms into an expanded public space, since the lobby is of limited dimensions and it is difficult to imagine an American guest finding such a room acceptable for the price. That said, this is, overall, a great hotel that offers many of Rome's most attractive destinations within walking distance. A lovely restaurant is situated across the courtyard from the hotel, and another that features very acceptable pasta dishes and pizza for reasonable prices is only five steps further away. Super little hotel, great staff and very friendly! Excellent location for getting to all the main attractions in the city. Nice and quite to sleep in and the breakfast was enough to keep us going for the day. Would absolutley recommend this hotel for anyone travelling to Rome! :-)

Fantastic location for a sightseeing visit to Rome, with a decent spread at breakfast. Unfortunately the hotel was very dated and noisy. The staff were friendly and helpful, however the bar never seemed to be open. On check-out we felt the lack of drink pricing clarity had left us with a 20euro bill for two drinks at the bar. The hotel is rated as 4star […] by expedia, however I would say that 2-3 is more accurate. Despite the hotel sign saying 3star outside, the rome city tax is priced as 3euro pppn not the 2euro it should be for 3 star hotels. This hotel was an absolute disgrace!! We had booked it over the internet (a big mistake) thinking that we were booking a quality four star hotel and instead got a totally substandard dirty hovel of a hotel. We picked up the key and were directed to the first floor next to a room with a yapping dog!! We immediately realised that this hotel was going […] to be poor. We went downstairs to complain and were then directed to another room on the same cramped floor just a few doors away. We could still hear the yapping dog, the door to the room didnt fit properly, the room was no more than the size of a shoebox, dark, dank and extremely dirty. We were so disappointed. There was no tea or coffee making facilities no fridge. The bathrooms was small and smelt of bad drains, there were a few unappealing soaps on the small old sink unit. No separate shower just a shower head that didnt work properly. Tepid water. The rooms was below standard and reminiscent of dirty budget hostel. The whole hotel felt run down and in disrepair. Totally disappointing, would not recommend this hotel at all. If you are thinking of booking this dont!! Not worth the money a complete rip-off. We paid way too much and dirty beyond belief. Air conditioner in our room was being worked on when we arrived. We were offered a free drink while we waited a few minutes. We were offered a smaller room or a room at another hotel or we could wait till later to see if it was fixed in the original room. When we returned, the air conditioner had been fixed. I had read mixed reviews about his hotel before booking it. Upon arrival I thought that I had made a mistake in booking it as there was an electrical problem when we arrived which meant we couldnt check in. The staff however were very friendly and explained that if they couldnt resolve the problem then they would accomodate in a sister hotel however […] the problem was resolved. Our room was plesant enough but not to a 4* standard but the friendliness of the staff made up for this. The location of the Hotel is good and there are enough bars and resteaurants in the area. Nice, quaint little hotel, on a cul-de-sac, so don't have all the traffic noise of main streets. Great location, close to many main sites, easy access to and from. Rooms and esp. bathroom a bit small, but manageable. Would stay there again (although not necessarily cheap these days given the dollar to the euro.).

We loved our stay at Hotel Bolivar. The location is excellent, being a block off a major street meant easy access to sites without the noise of the busy street. It is tucked away in a little cul-de-sac with a fantastic little restaurant across the street. Teh Hotel Bolivar is located very centrally in Rome. It is on a very quiet street - really a dead end. teh rooms are very small, even by European standards. But, it was fairly clean, though it could use some updating. The staff at the front desk was helpful in recommending local restaurants.

Having looked at lots of photos of this hotel I was anticipating a room that would be of a good standard. The room we were given was ok ... functionable at best. We soon realised that all the rooms on the first floor were not of the same standard as the rooms on the other floors and that are room was probably just a standard room and the others superior. […] When we were booking we were not given a choice. The actual location of the hotel is fabulous; near to all the main sites and it is in a quiet and safe neighbourhood. The breakfast room on the roof terrace is lovely and there is plenty of choice and enough to enjoy a good breakfast. We booked the hotel with two other sets of friends so we could be in the same hotel. The hotel had some issues with power on one of the floors so they could not accommodate all of us. One of the couples were given the grossest room I've ever seen (think seedy no-tell-motel complete with stains) while two of the other rooms were re-booked into another […] hotel over a mile away. The hotel we were re-booked to was still under renovation and did not have a working elevator which might not have been bad if we were not on the 5th floor. The point of booking was to be in the neighborhood together to make meeting up for meals and tours easier. Overall, it wasn't a great experience and was very inconvenient. There was no attempt to contact us early in the day so we could make other arrangements or to move our entire group. The hotel was well situated and appointed, but difficult to initially find as it is located on a sidestreet. But it's location within a 15 minute walk to the Colosseum and near the bus lines make it an ideal location to explore Rome. It is only a short stroll from the Trevi fountain. Their suggestions saved my party time and money during our trip. They were also very willing to store our luggage after check out until we were ready to depart for the airport. The buffet breakfast provided by the hotel offered a wide variety of beverages and an extensive selection ot breakfast items. All of the offerings were attractively presented and tasty. The buffet location, on the top floor of the hotel, provided an attractive and relaxing location to enjoy breakfast and start the day.. The only thing lacking was washcloths. Hotel Bolivar was a very comfortable and relaxing hotel in the heart of Rome. It was a bit difficult to locate at first as we walked from the subway station, but being tucked away in its off the street location is what made the hotel very relaxing as there was no street noise at all. Great hotel, location, rooms. Exceeded expectations. If coming by taxi have a printout of location as some cabs have trouble finding the place (despite it being only 100 yards off a busy street). Location good as walk to Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Colliseum, etc...

Hadde et fint opphold i Roma. Hotellet lå i nærheten av alt. Hadde Via Nationale rett ved, noe som var positivt og negativt mht støy. Vi var en familie på 4, og fikk et dobbeltrom med to ekstrasenger i. Rommet var lite, og trangt. Aircondition virket ikke særlig, og da det var mye støy fra trafikk var det uholdbart å ha vinduet oppe. Det ble temmelig […] varmt i rommet på natta. Ellers var det rent og servicen var god.
