Il personale completamente disinteressato verso il cliente sempre al telefono proprio o dell'albergo Ho dovuto aspettare alla reception 6 minuti con l'addetta che rideva con un'amica mentre parlava con il proprio cellulare. Non esiste in camera una lista dei servizi dell'hotel Per la lavanderia mancava tutto, notizie, tempi di consegna , busta. Per […] la sala fitness bisognava andare fuori dall'hotel in mezzo alla strada e accedere ad un locale distaccato. Il buffet della colazione scadente, paragonabile a uno da tre stelle, con frutta sporca e senza possibilità di lavarla. Camera spaziosissima e molto confortevole. Abbiamo chiesto un king size ma abbiamo trovato due letti affiancati da una piazza e mezza non uniti, molto spazio ma scomodo. Colazione non adeguata allo standard dell'hotel per qualità e servizio. Pochi tavoli a disposizione. A parte la hall, apparentemente sfarzosa ed elegante, questo hotel non ha niente di un 5 stelle. Buona la posizione ma le camere sono da 3 stelle. Mi è stata data una per fumatori nonostante avessi chiesto una non fumatori. Non lo consiglio.

Hotel con ingresso e zone in comune incantevoli (piscina un po' piccola per le dimensioni della struttura). Ben tenuto anche se l'arredamento e' un po' datato. Posizione ottima sia per la visita in città che per la vista (Partenone) del settimo piano da dove viene servita la colazione. Lo consiglio

Ha una terrazza stupenda che guarda il Partenone e Il Tempio di Zeus, posizione eccellente per accedere a piedi alle zone più significative di Atene.

Buona la posizione dell'albergo, camere spaziose e curate, ottima la pulizia, il bagno necessiterebbe di una ristrutturazione. La struttura è molto grande e dispersiva, servizi ottimi.

Hotel meraviglioso, personale estremamente gentile e cortese, camere pulitissime, posizione assolutamente perfetta per visitare la città, vista dal ristorante all'ultimo piano veramente incantevole sul Tempio di Zeus e l'Acropoli.

The location was good to catch the bus or train. View was gorgeous from the restaurant. The food in the restaurant was horrible, but the food and service in the bar was spectacular. Spyros and Yianas were so kind and took good care of us. Nothing exceptional about the hotel, but it was ok.

The restaurant and bars are Amazing as are the public areas. The room however just ok. The towels were very well used. And there was literally dust on the vanity. I wiped my finger through it. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Used to be 5* maybe 15 years ago. Only good - the location. Close to Plaka/Acropolis etc. Wafer thin walls, can hear people next door snoring, flashing toilets etc. Housekeeping start hoovering 8am - not good way/time to get woken up. Cheeky hotel charges 3 euros for simple local bottle of water that cost 20 cents in the shop next door and any other […] 4 star hotel gives for free. Breakfast basic - not worth the extra euros you will pay for it. Much better choices in Athens - dont get misled by the 5* rating and the fancy communal areas - hotel is not a good one if you cant get a good night sleep - especially for the money they charge you. I loved the hotel's location for walking around town; the staff even helped guide us to a mass transit stop that is up the road from the hotel. I look forward to staying at the Royal Olympic Hotel again.

The hotel is in an excellent location, opposite the Temple of Zeus, 10 mins walk to the Acropolis and 5 mins to Planka. Before we arrived I emailed the hotel as it was my boyfriend's birthday during our stay and they upgraded us plus gave us a free bottle of wine. Breakfast was simple but nice. was excellent service lovely breakfast beautiful hotel, but the room didn't have enough plug sockets, sockets were hanging out of the wall, really expensive drinks, bad view from window and balcony, apart from that, excellent location in centre of athens and close to metro.

The hotel was ok overall but our room smelled like sewer every time we came in the room. We asked for a king or queen size bed and they gave us a room with two twin beds put together. It was uncomfortable because it created a bump in the middle. The tub was narrow at the bottom making it hard to stand balanced while taking a shower. The hair dryer didn't […] work. Breakfast can be included with your room, but we don't recommend it. Choices were limited. If you wanted to purchase breakfast separately, you paid 20 euro per person - not worth it! Despite being excellently located near to the Plaka and Acropolis, this hotel is the worst I've ever stayed using Expedia. Even though I know it is only the number of features a hotel has for it to gain a particular star rating, when trhe staff have to apologise for a "management decision" to turn off the airconditioning because they deemed it was cool […] enough not to be needed, you sort of question how this place retains a 5 star rating. The only way we could cool the room was to open the open the balcony doors and then be bombarded by traffic noise!!!! In our particular room, the furnishings and the bathroom fittings were very tired and the ceiling paintwork stained which was in complete contradiction to the very good impression you get when we walked into the front foyer which is very elegant and stylish. As another reviewer wrote the rooftop breakfast buffet food was "not hot" but the staff were prepared to take it away and put it in a conventional oven to heat it up because there were reportedly no microwave oven in the hotel. For me to spend the time to write this review when my wife and I consider ourselves pretty tolerant travellers just goes to show how disappointing an impression this hotel left us with. Great hotel! Got upgraded as we were travelling in November and there were not so many tourists. The hotel room was fantastic, the view great, expecially from the rooftop bar/restaurant. Only one point not very optimal is the sport facility, which was outside the hotel, around the corner and quite hidden. Other than that very helpful personal.

The hotel is very good kept,the views are phantastic(if you got one facing the Acropoli)the staff most of them very pleasents,but the internat connection are very poor>the staff try to help but i beilive theat the problem is the upgrade of the existing system. The restuarnt and the breakfast are excelnet and again the superb view!!

Was definitely not 5 star. The "hot" breakfast was always cold and not very nice. Staff were lovely and helpful. Room service and restaurant was closed for 2 days due to staff strike which made the visit difficult as you could not get any food in the hotel. Quality and service of the food was very disappointing.

Reception staff very friendl, helpfu and informativel. The most wonderful views from the roof terrace both day and night. The hotel is perfect for site seeing, most sights are in walking distance of the hotel. Our room had a balcony overlooking the pool and was a perfect location for two days pre cruise. We would stay again.

Room was very spacious with a very modern bathroom and nice furnishings however there is traffic noise and it required us to keep the window closed. There was air condtioning. The breakfast buffet on the roof top terrace had a stunning view and while there was variety with the buffet, its preparation was only adequate. This hotel is perfectly located to see the ancient sites in Athens. You can walk to everything. The king sized bed turned out to be two twins pushed together under a single headboard. The restaurant is very expensive. The food is ok, but you pay for the view.
