Had a really great stay. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed to friendliness of the staff and the comfort of the room. The only real complaint I have is that the doors and room are not that well sound proofed and you can hear everything in the hallway. But overall, good comfortable stay.

The Steigenberger is a really great hotel in Berlin. It is located western edge near the Zoologischer Garten and the Gedächtniskirche. There are several bus lines near by as well. For sightseeing, you can take the 100 line and be at the Bradenburg Gate within less than 10 minutes. The S-Bahn and U-Bahn lines at the Zoologischer Garten are really close […] as well. If driving, there is also a parkhaus right at the hotel. The hotel is simply excellent. A standard room is quite large especially by European standards. The room was exceptionally clean and the bed was quite comfortable. The staff was excellent as well and you can easily find someone who speaks multiple languages. There are also a number of nice restaurants within very close walking distance of the hotel. When returning to Berlin, we would definitely stay at the Steigenberger. Continua a leggere

The hotel was great and made our stay totally enjoyable. It was located close to our tour departure points. The room service was friendly. Very great experience!

This hotel is pretty standard for a hotel, nice comfortable rooms though a little small, for us free wi-fi, not much choice of TV channels, but for us at least great value for money. (the duvets could be a lot thinner, it was baking) It is in a quiet area off the main drag but close enough to walk to at least 3 underground stations. In house services […] are quite expensive, 20€ pp breakfast and a drink in the bar from 9€ upwards i would not plan to eat or drink here. Not many breakfast places nearby either. Ideal position for the shopping and conference people but it is about 20 min from the tourist areas. don't be fooled by the picture, the garden is a public place in front of the hotel, not the hotels grounds. I would certainly stay here again if conferencing but would look for something closer to museum island if going as a tourist. Continua a leggere

Excellently situated just off the Kurfustendamm. Plenty of things to do in Berlin. Would recommend paying extra to use the executive lounge, very good value. Had a couple of small issues, resolved by the duty manager, who then paid for flowers we had ordered as a gesture of goodwill..

The hotel is ok, nothing extra, but ok. Make sure to book a club room. Close to KaDeWe and Museum of photography. The restaurant is quite ok and the service is very good. The service at the bar is also very good. All staff is very friendly and helpful.

Room wasn't ready when we arrived. Asked us to return after 2.30pm. We came back at 3.30pm and there still wasn't a standard room cleaned. They upgraded us to an executive room. We did not ask. Excellent service. Spa and swimming pool really nice and well looked after. Wonderfully relaxing. Hotel very well located 2 mins from the Kefurstendamm.

even though everything else was fine, customer service provided by one front desk staff was terrible and it ruined the experience! i inquired about a city tour which was to start very soon. he advised me to run as fast as i can to the meeting place and i should be able to make it. i asked him if he could call just to let them know i was on my way, but […] he said there was no need. so i ran, and i made it on time, but... the tour has been cancelled! the tour guide said the hotel should have known that this particular tour is only in the am, not pm. i think this is customer service in it's worth - all he should have done is place a quick phone call and the problem would have been avoided! We booked a suite which was two large, separate rooms--you could have given a party in the living room. Most European hotels have smallish spaces so we were pleasantly surprised. It also afforded us access to the executive lounge. So often, these club rooms are not worth visiting. Not so at this hotel. The executive lounge at the Steigenberger was generously […] stocked with both food and drink, including a wonderful light, but more than adequate, breakfast, a quiet salon area with lots to read, and several computers at your disposal. The young women who were on duty there were friendly and could not have been more helpful. The hotel is located in a very lively neighborhood just off the KuDam, and is surrounded by restaurants, cafes and shopping. A perfect place to stay in Berlin. Continua a leggere

Just returned from a 5 night break to Berlin. We were very pleased with the hotel. Our room was comfortable, although we found the beds rather firm. This is a busy, popular hotel offering good facilities for business and leisure travellers. We chose the hotel because its location is near the "zoo" station and just off Kufurstendamm. There are lots of […] restaurants nearby so it made an excellent base. We would be happy to visit again. The staff spoke excellent English and were very helpful. Continua a leggere

As you can see from the above, we were entirely satisfied with our stay - it's a lovely hotel - and would stay there again. The only comment I'd make is that perhaps the towels could be a bit fluffier!

I enjoy staying in Berlin and Steinberger Hotel. I would recommend you to chose this hotel when you are in Berlin.

Despite its central location the hotel is located in a quiet side street with a nice garden plaza in front of him. We stayed on floor business and got a very nice room overlooking the garden plaza. The hotel has a very nice spa area with sauna and a small circular pool and rest areas. We had a problem getting a room when we arrived, but the problem […] is resolved to our satisfaction. We note the excellent service we received throughout our stay at the hotel receptionist. In particular we note the efficient and courteous service we received from Mrs. seelig. Stayed 4 nights at the hotel and we are pleased to extend our stay. Anyway there is no doubt that the next time we visit the charming town Berlin we will be back to stay at this hotel. While perhaps it isn't a true 5* hotel, it certainly merits 4.5*. This is a well maintained, well managed property in a location convenient to the Ku'damm but removed from the hustle and bustle by just a few blocks on a lovely plaza. Staff is helpful, reserved yet friendly. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. Executive Lounge has different food offerings […] throughout the day, including a very good breakfast. Internet service is free to guests, although WiFi signal can be weak in some rooms. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the Charlottenburg area. Continua a leggere

we were very sataicified from the hotel. good concierge, very good loacation, just 5 min. by feet from the Zoo station. the breakfast was not included in the price so we took it in an Coffee in the next street, and it was also nice. there are two bicycle availible for the guests. just remember to order them in when you arrive.

A wonderful comfort hotel , directly in the center of Berlin. By food, 2 Minutes to the Kudamm and the underground. Simply 100%.

I chose this hotel because of its high ratings and very reasonable price. I was not disappointed at all. The hotel is very stylish, the service was great, and the room was super clean and comfortable. My only complaint would be that the bathroom was a bit cramped, but I would still book here again for sure.

This hotel offered many surprises. It is beautifully located in a quiet neighborhood right off Kurfurstendamm and its many attractions. The U Bahn was nearby and gave easy access to every part of Berlin. The hotel was in the best European style and the staff was welcoming. Overall an excellent hotel. Location is convenient for buses and underground. City Tours bus tour is good valu and first stop is only 5 minutes walk from hotel. Nice reasonably priced restaraunts nearby.Good size room. Comforatable bed and furniture. Efficient air-con. Clean throughout. Only complaints would be that the bar prices were high and breakfast […] was 23 euro per head which is exorbitant for standard hotel fare. Would stay there again if visiting Berlin which is unlikely given that it is onre of the most dreary cities I have ever visited. Continua a leggere

Very good hotel close to centre of town and local train and bus statons. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back again.

The Steigenberger was exceptional. Quiet, good location, good room size, great design. When I arrived early in the morning from my international flight they got me checked in right away so I could get down to business. My family came to stay too and they provided a good quality crib, some toys and when we needed it, cleaned the room at any hour. A trouble-free stay. Everything was as promised (which is refreshing). Wireless was easy to use with my laptop. The pool and sauna were nice to have, and I took advantage (though I wish they were opened later than 10pm and 9:30pm respectively). I needed an iron and ironing board before a ceremony, and they brought it promptly. The bed was quite comfortable, […] and I loved the shower. Das Steigenberger liegt sehr ruhig, und trotzdem nur 5 min zum KaDeWe. Fenster könnten besser eine bessere Schallisolierung haben. Leider war unser Zimmer einmal um 16:45 nicht gereinigt. Nach Reklamation wurde dies jedoch sofort erledigt.

Hatten dort zwei Zimmer mit drei Übernachtungen mit unseren drei Kindern. War alles wirklich sehr gut, besonders das sehr freundliche Personal und die hervorragende Lage, ruhig, aber um die Ecke vom Kudamm, sind hervorzuheben. Der Spa-Bereich ist ist auch echt klasse! Frühstück hatten wir nicht mitgebucht. Es soll zwar auch sehr gut sein, aber hätte […] für uns fünf mit über 100 Euro pro Tag zu Buche gesschlagen. Continua a leggere

Hotellet ligger fint og sentralt i vest-berlin, et steinkast unna kufursterdamm sin u-bahn, europasenteret og KaDeWe. Her finnes alt av shopping og spisesteder. Vi valgte et excutive-rom med tilgang på lounge. Sammenlignet med tilsvarende rom på andre hoteller sto ikke dette tilbudet helt opp mot våre forventninger. Skulle vi valgt på nytt i dag ville […] vi gått for et ordinært rom. Det ekstra utlegget for excutive er ikke verdt pengene. Når det gjelder hotellets pool og sauna-fasiliteter er det verdt å nevne at det tidvis var noe overfylt av barnefamilier samt at det i Tyskland er vanlig at kvinner og menn deler både garderobe og bastu. Litt merkelig er det nok for oss nordmenn at kvinnr og menn sitter nakne sammen i badstuen. Av andre hoteller helt i nærheten kan vi nevne Swissotel, Hotel Concorde og Hotel Kempinski. Til prisen for et vanlig rom kan vi uansett trygt anbefale hotellet på grunn av ypperlig beliggenhet. Continua a leggere

Godt udgangspunkt for at shoppe. Området er mest butiksfacader og ikke så hyggelig som f.eks. Prenzlauerberg. Af grønne områder er der er Zoo og Tiergarten.

Lidt kedeligt, men der mangler ikke noget. God central beliggenhed. Topservice. Poolen i wellness-området er dog for lille. Lidt for gamle travere afspilles i pianobaren - bør være mere jazzet. Ellers godt tilfreds med opholdet.
