Abbiamo soggiornato in questo Hotel per 4 notti ad aprile 2012. Amiamo viaggiare e quindi siamo abituati a vedere strutture alberghiere di ogni genere e tipo ma dobbiamo ammettere che questo resort è veramente unico trovandosi all'interno di un condominio di lusso che si affaccia sul quartiere di Bay side. L'esclusività dell'arredo e la ricercatezza del design vanno a pari merito con la cortesia del personale. Di facile gestione anche il parcheggio auto che richiede necessariamente il valet e quindi un supplemento di spesa. L'hotel trovandosi in un quartiere molto ricercato non ha purtroppo store di generi alimentari o caffetterie vicine. Tuttavia all'interno dell'albergo il caffè e le bevande calde venivano offerte gratuitamente. Va specificato in ultimo che la struttura, traffico permettendo, dista solo 10 minuti dall'aeroporto, una comodità che deve essere valutata. Ottima esperienza! Laura e Domenico

Camera spaziosa con angolo cottura attrezzato e tavolino pranzo.Spazio per far giocare i bimbi. Bagno un po' piccolo. Perfetto per chi viaggia con bambini. Disponibilità anche di lettino da campeggio.

Impossibile non consigliare un hotel simile. E' semplicemente fantastico. Spero di tornarci molto presto.

A Miami e nei pressi dell'aeroporto, Sofitel Miami si trova nelle vicinanze dei seguenti luoghi di interesse: Grapeland Water Park, Miracle Mile e Campo di golf Miami Springs Golf Course. Nella stessa area sono inoltre presenti: Magic City Casino e Merrick House.
Caratteristiche dell'hotel
La struttura Sofitel Miami dispone di una piscina scoperta e una palestra. Accesso a Internet ad alta velocità, wireless e cablato, disponibile nelle aree comuni (a pagamento). Ad appena 10 chilometri a ovest dal centro di Miami, l'aeroporto è vicinissimo alla zona d'affari e residenziale di Coral Gables e a soli pochi minuti dai negozi di Coconut Grove. L'aeroporto comprende una galleria d'arte, moltissimi negozi duty free e un comodo hotel.

"Close to Airport and Downtown"
I always have a great stay at the Sofitel. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. The room service is prompt and helpful. The food is superb. The staff ensures that my stay is most satisfactory.

My husband and I decided to stay an extra night in Miami after returning from our cruise and we enjoyed the Sofitel so much that we wished we would have just stayed there instead of going on the cruise! The service was great, the food in the restaurant for lunch and room service for b-fast was delicious, the pool area felt like a resort and the bed […] was SO comfortable! The bartender in the hotel lobby also went above and beyond to make me a special requested drink. We were very close to the airport, however we didn't hear the planes at all from our room and they've created such a beautifully landscaped oasis that it didn't feel like an airport hotel. The price is also very reasonable for this hotel as I would have expected to pay a lot more given the quality. We were so comfortable there that we didn't want to leave! Continua a leggere

"Close to Airport, Downtown Miami, and Beaches"
I had a great stay. The service is first class, and the room was great. It is convenient to Downtown, the airport, and the South Beach. The hotel and room were very clean.
"Nice and enjoyable stay"
Not quite what I expected of a sofitel hotel but it was nice. The decor could do with some updating, the lobby carpets and rugs looked old and outdated and I think this is something that could be updated for a relatively small amount for a hotel that should be 5 star. We got there 30mins early and our room wasn't ready yet. we went to have the wings […] and fries at the bar, these were spactacular for the quantity and cost. We went back to the reception at 3pm, which is the official check in time and our room still wasn't ready. We waited another 30mins and we ended up being put in a different room that didn't have all the things we had asked for, from a toddler's cot (called a crib in America) to a bar fridge. It seems you have to actually request for a fridge to be put in your room at no extra cost. Apart from that everything else was fantastic. The hotel location was very convenient for us, we had rented a car and were able to get around easily and the surroundings seemed safe. There was a small mall nearby with a supermarket and 2 pharmacies to buy almost everything we needed. The best part about this hotel for me was the bed. This has to be the best bed I have ever slept in and the best pillows too. I always woke up feeling refreshed. I am actually going to try and find that bed when we get back to Australia and buy one, it was phenomenal. "Kids loved the pool!"
Our two children chose this hotel from the pictures of the pool (they loved the waterfall) and were not disappointed. Pool is shallow enough that they had space to play and the waterfall is fun to look at and play with. Plenty of space around the pool for parents to lounge. "Sofetil Miami-amazing service"
I don't think I've ever stayed at a hotel with friendlier service. Everyone who works there went above and beyond to make sure all of our questions were answered and we were well taken care of. The gentlemen at concierge desk were a hoot!!!! This is my new favorite hotel and we will be back!!!! Thanks to the amazing staff for a great stay:)

not the newest hotel but very close to airport for departures for a cruise,, comfy beds and patio area by the pool. close to a little shopping plaza for some snacks etc....

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a wine sampler and late snack in the lounge. It was perfect for what we needed - a great hotel for one night between a late arriving flight and a morning cruise.

I did read the reviews before I booked my room, but I had no other choice. The event I was attending was at this hotel. The Only two staff members I meet was nice. The rest claimed to not speak English when calling the hotel on the phone or checking in, in person. I had a stressful weekend and demanding a refund. The room was clean, but the jet noise […] will keep you awake. The food is under cooked and they wont even comp your meal let alone replace it. I asked for something to help my stomach and they said I HAD TO BUY IT in the gift shop. I checked my bank account and they have added extra charged to my chard!!! Over $100 worth in extra fess they did not tell me about. The rooms are clean but the staff, food, service, and added fees and not worth it. Avoid this hotel!!! Even talking with other people at this event who live in FL even had nothing but bad to say about the hotel and said they were shocked I stayed here. I want a full refund for this nightmare. Not a negative thing to say. It was clean, service was great. The pool chairs were very comfortable. The pool setting was so relaxing, you didn't want to leave. The only negative was if you didn't want to eat on site, you had to travel a ways for restaurants.

"Perfect Place To Chill Out After A Cruise: Sofitel"
We were picked up from our cruise boat by friends from Tampa and we first made our way to the Sofitel Miami. The approach to the Hotel was beautiful, a gorgeous lagoon on one side which at night was beautifully lit. The front staff were enormously helpful and checking in was really quick. Our room was incredibly spacious and a full length window showed […] us a great view of the lagoon and surrounding areas. The interior of the Hotel was immaculate and a staircase leading down into the lounge area and out into the pool area was great..We sat for ages just talking and having a few drinks and at no time were we hassled by staff wanting us to move on. Although we didnt eat in at the restaurant it surely did look pretty good. Checkout was easy and it was just a short distance to the airport. I'd really recommend the Sofitel as a great place to stay ... really peaceful and chilling out after a gorgeous Caribbean Cruise . Continua a leggere

Staff were great. Megan was super helpful. Great experience. This hotel was great for the airport. To visit the beach though the taxi ride was expensive. But you choose this hotel dependent on your needs. I would recommend this hotel and would stay again.

Enjoyed the restaurant and general ambience of this hotel. It was great for our purpose-an overnight stay to await a flight out of country. Also walking distance to mini mall with multiple stores, etc. Save neighborhood for walking.

Have stayed here at least 6 times before and have seen ongoing improvements. Staff are very nice and accommodating. Forgot my toothpaste and they provided a complimentary dental kit . Arrived early and found my room ready and available, great as I had a conference call that day. I stayed on the top floor again, great view but found I did hear planes […] overhead (very close to airport). If you are a light sleeper I recommend you stay on a lower floor. Restaurant and bar service not good. The tip is added into the bill which probably explains why I had to pour my own water and had to ask for table to be wiped. No top sheet for bed comforter. Unless they are washing the comforter after each guest, this is inexcusable. Hallways and rooms are tired. Condition is acceptable, but not for price point. […] Too many cheaper comparable options. "it was bad timing"
they upgrade my room to suits but it was a corner.they have pump on the roof as they use it, the room shake.. I asked them to change room.They told me to wait for 5 mins so porter will help you. I wait for one hour but porter did not come. If I know, I would transfer alone. There is one supermarket in 10minis walk. but it was too late to go out. It was a very enjoyable experience. The hotel staff was outstanding. Enjoyed both dinner and breakfast at the hotel. And the pool area is fabulous.
