Great location near the Galleria with easy access to get anywhere in Houston. It is located in a park like setting which is a nice respit from the hectic Galleria area. Definitely become an Omni Select member before arriving; it is free and provides lots of perks including complimentary paper and wi-fi. My room had plenty of light, good work area and […] great water pressure. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They do have free covered parking and you have to walk a little ways to get to it, but it is along a relaxing path. We were there to celebrate our 23rd Anniversary. It was good. We found a roach crawling on the ceiling and had to kill it. When we checked in, I gave the desk clerk my blue ticket for the parking which was about $17 and he kind of looked down on us and recommended the FREE parking. I told him no we are fine and would he please charge us. He kind of […] threw the blue ticket to the side and told us it was taken care of. Went to the room to change and then left for dinner. Our room key would not work to let us out from the parking lot or in when we returned. Had to get help to get them to open the parking arm. I told him about it the next day and due to the roach we found, he comped the parking. But even then he had an air about him that made it feel snobbish. Other than that, it was a good stay. Stayed here several years before and it still is the same quality hotel. Always good service from the hotel staff...A1 workout room, well lit and overlooking the pool outdoors. Beds are a little stiff but rooms are quiet and very clean.

Enjoyed staying at the Omni over Christmas. The rooms seem to be getting a little dated, but not enough to be a bother. We had a great rate and the Omni is in a great location.

I absolutely loved staying at the Omni. My only complaint is I requested a late check out for 2pm, and the cleaning lady and another lady kept knocking on the door before 2pm as if they didn't know. Other than that, it was a great experience and I plan on staying again.

The only reason I didn't give all five stars was the maid service. It was inconsistent, and not the best that I have experienced. Otherwise, the hotel is wonderful, convenient and all other services, excellent! If I return to Houston, I will stay here!

The hotel was really nice and conveniently located in the Galleria area. Our minor complaint is the beds really hurt our back. They were extremely soft so if soft beds are your thing this is a great hotel for you. Sadly, I probably would not stay again because of the beds, but everything else was great.

The bed and pillows were one of the most comfortable I have ever experienced in a hotel. Staff is great, hotel very clean. The only small negative point is the restaurant that serves breakfast, service there is pretty bad. On two occasion, we got the wrong order, and service wasn't very prompt. My only complaint was that the level of service was so superb I felt compelled to continue into my pocket to tip. Awesome Hotel, a must stay if you are in the city. Ladies and Gentlemen a job well done. I travel and dine out a lot, service is paramount.

The staff was very friendly and the heated pool was nice for a pre-Thanksgiving swim. The food was good. We asked for a complimentary DVD player, mini fridge and safe in the room and all were there by the time we got up to the room. High Quality.

Loved the lobby (especially the crystals), lake, and black swans. One of the swans turned her eggs and then sat on them, something I had never seen before.

It was very nice and comfortable. Enjoyed the staff and their recommendations. Got great suggestions from concierge for nearby restaurants. Also the courtesy van driver was really nice and we enjoyed his company.

The hotel is nice! The hotel room is spacious with comfortable beds. The room condition and cleanliness is good! The hotel is located in riverway, which is around 20 mins drive from downtown. If you don't have a car, you can take taxi which would cost around 25 or take bus. I am very satisfied with the hotel.

The room service food was really hard. Waffles aren't supposed to be crunchy. The mini bar drinks were too expensive. I liked the seclusion of the hotel and didn't get a chance to enjoy the spa.

My boyfriend and I ended up staying at the Omni Houston Hotel for a romantic weekend away to celebrate his birthday and our anniversary through one of Expedia's Mystery Hotel Deals. Best decision ever! Everything from the room's view to the complimentary parking in Self-Parking Garages White and Brown was perfect! I loved the artistic design and the […] colors of the lobby, especially all of the indoor vegetation and terrariums. Everything felt fresh and luxurious. Upon check-in, we were even offered flutes of complimentary champagne. Friday afternoon we had scheduled a couple's massage at the spa to "start the weekend out out right", but ended up getting stuck in classic Houston traffic on our way to the hotel, which made us 15 minutes late for our massage. The ladies at the spa took that into consideration and actally gave us a significant discount on our services since we weren't able to get our full hour. The facilities were breath-taking and the massages themselves were amazing! The masseuses were very polite and were more than happy to customize the exact pressure and desired areas to focus the massage. We left feeling brand new and refreshed! I will be definitely keeping an eye out for future deals with the Omni in the future. My only regret was that we didn't take a chance to visit the downstairs restaurants or bar, but maybe next time? Either way, I plan to take advantage of the Mystery Hotel Deals from now on, and I would recommend it to anyone. Continua a leggere

We were in town for a family members wedding. The rooms were very clean and well decorated, the breakfast buffet was wonderful, the bar area was perfect for conversation, we enjoyed the fire pit outside, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

I would not stay here again. I have stayed at other hotels in Houston, and this was disappointing. If you didn't pay to park ($20+ a night), it was a long walk to the alternate parking garage. Room was ok, but someone's socks were along side the one bed. First time staying at an Omni, probably the last.

Everything was great with one exception ..I booked through Hotels.com and booked a Deluxe King Room, but was given a Double Room. When I queried this at reception, they said they don't guarantee the room type & it's only on the basis of rooms available. I've read this same problem/excuse in other reviews.
