"Wonderful"
Embassy Suites was excellent. The rooms were large and very clean. The location was fantastic. Either a short shuttle ride or walk to the Metro station gave us everything the DC area had to offer. Our stay at the Embassy Suites Crystal City was great. When we went to leave on Monday morning the battery on our car was completely dead. One of the front desk employees got us a limo driver who had a set of jumper cables. He went to the parking garage and waited for the car until we got it started. "Pleasant"
We didn't spend to much time in the hotel but overall it was pleasant. The check-in was really quick and easy. Which I loved. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff that I came in contact with were very courteous and friendly. The breakfast was very good. The only thing I thought was a little pricey and unnecessary was the parking cost. […] Being that we aren't familiar with area we decided to park at the hotel use the metro. It made more sense. But we loved that it was so close to the metro. Overall I would choose this hotel again. We have tried other hotels in the arlington area. And while they were fine the Embassy Suites surpassed them all. The room was amazing. Loved the one bedroom apartment feel. The staff was friendly and the breakfast buffet was plentiful. The only issue I may have had was that our room faced the highway thus hearing the traffic. Neither the hotel nor Hotels.com disclosed that this place charges $25 a day for parking and $12.95 per day for internet access + they do not have free wifi in the lobby/common areas. Once again, a great place to stay while touring DC with the kids. The breakfast got us started and the evening reception helped us all wind down. Good location for National Airport, but very pricey. Hotel very nicely maintained. A bit of road noise.The 'Manager's Reception' features plenty of drinks, and some food, but not really dinner. We traveled to DC with our two school aged kids and this was a perfect hotel. Very popular with groups of middle schoolers and families so not great of you're looking for a quiet romantic getaway...but perfect for us. Affordable, five minute walk to the metro (or take a shuttle if you time it right). Great housekeeping staff. And of the four hotels […] we stayed at, this one has the nicest softest towels! :) The food isn't spectacular, but again works great for a family. I would stay here again. Nearby highway was noisy but earplugs helped. Shuttle service to the metro was great. Convenient to dc and all the sights. We were there for spring break and the hotel was quite full but they kept in front of the crowds at the breakfast buffet. "Surprisingly Pleasant"
What a nice hotel. The breakfast and afternoon snack was great. Very convenient to DC. The rooms are suites with living room and bedroom. Rather large rooms for a city hotel. Overall, pleasantly surprised it exceeded my modest expectations handily.Recensioni obiettive Hotels.com

I have stayed in other Embassy Suites hotels in DC that were much better. The food was not good. There was no in-room safe. There was no concierge, just a taxi phone available for guest's use and some pamphlets about local attractions. The neighborhood is all hotels and apartments, but the hotel provides a free shuttle to the local mall and metro station. […] The room was fine, but not special in any way. "5 min walk to Metro, 6 min train to The Mall"
An impromptu trip for a single day to DC meant I wanted something with parking for the car so I could train around town. Crystal City had both. The hotel was clean, comfortable and the nicest Embassy Suites room I've ever seen. Breakfast was a bit of scrum as the hotel was full up, and I didn't use the pool or workout area due to time constraints but […] the front desk was quick, knowledgeable and friendly. "Great for kids, Friendly staff"
I thought the staff were very friendly, with an exception to one of the female pool staff. Perfect place for the kids though. We had an incident were our youngest got sick in the car, the front desk went out of their way to help, and within minutes helped me make an appointment for cleaning. They also recommended touring, although the touring company […] turned out to be a disaster! The downed elevator was a bit annoying. We read in a review that there was a cockroach in one of the rooms, and it was too bad that we also saw a quarter sized one in the breakfast area! We quickly told the kids it was a beetle. "Comfortable Retreat after a day of touring"
Every staff member that we encountered was helpful and friendly. The daily complimentary breakfast was excellent with a variety of choices, and the evennig reception was much appreciated as well. The shuttle service to the Pentagon City Metro Stop made traveling to and from the city convienient. We recommend two areas of improvement: 1. A TV channel […] guide should be provided in each room. When we asked for one, we received an ad for movies that could be purchased, not a channel guide. 2. Wifi is not available in the suites unless the guest pays an additional $12.95 per day. "Good location-Convenient"
This hotel is equipped with a underground self parking garage. Good customer service, breakfast was good...great omelet station, great selection of hot food available like bacon, eggs, pancakes, sausage, oatmeal and potatoes. The only issue I had was that the front desk informed me that the bar stayed opened until 11:30pm however the bar was closing […] at 11pm when I arrived. Definitely mixed communication was an issue as one department thought the other department had the wrong information. This hotel does ask you to sign a waiver that you will refrain from any loud noises or hold parties in their guest rooms. I guess this is a new thing!
