Recensito da un utente di Hotels.com in data 23 feb 2013Hotel perfetto per soggiorni lunghi in quanto ha un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. La mia camera aveva un letto matrimoniale ed un letto supplementare per mia figlia uno schermo lcd ed un bagno con vasca e bidet. Se si vuole modificare la temperatura interna della camera bisogna lasciare un deposito di 10 sterline per avere un telecomando. La colazione per noi italiani è perfetta in quanto ci sono cornetti, pan raisin (cornetti all'uvetta grandi e piccoli) saccottini al cioccolato, panini,nutella (proprio nutella) marmellate,yougurt e pane da tostare. Se cercate la colazione inglese dovete pagare un supplemento perchè di salato è presente solo il prosciutto cotto. L'hotel si trova in zona 3 ed è a 15 minuti a piedi dalla metro (ma c'è il bus 48 che passa ogni 10 minuti e vi lascia sotto l'hotel). In 30 minuti si è in pieno centro. Se dovete passare pochi giorni a Londra forse non è l'ideale ma per chi deve passare una settimana come abbiamo fatto noi è consigliabile

Per quanto riguarda la stanza c'erano armadi piccolissimi ci si deve adattare.Buona colazione e molti giovani, dunque alla sera c'era parecchio movimento.

L'area di ricevimento é abbastanza schifosa, dà l'idea di un albergo caotico e poco ordinato. We stayed here for its close proximity to The Gate Theatre. Check-in was painfully slow and the staff did not seem to know what they were doing. The decor is tired and not what you'd expect from the Hilton name. The room was okay, but could have been cleaner, and the shower was either scolding hot or cold. "City break"
There is work going on in the hotel which did not effect my stay, I am not sure what effect this will have on the hotel. The hotel presently feels very dated, not what I would have expected from the Hilton brand, although you don't really see the Hilton name prominently anywhere, I suspect it has been a more recent acquisition and the work being undertaken […] is to pull the overall standard up. The water pressure in the bathroom sink was hardly enough to rinse a tooth brush, but the shower was ok. On reflection of the price paid, it was not bad value for money, and if on a budget it is perfectly acceptable, however I would rather pay a bit more for somewhere slightly better. That said I would stay again, if as this time it was chosen as a hotel of convenience. The staff are very helpful, and it is clean. This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. It was fine, very good value at the rate I payed and the breakfast was plentiful and good quality.Only 2 small issues it was difficult to adjust the heating in my room is seemed to be set at 19.5 C which was not warm enough for a bitterly cold January, I managed to turn it up but only after much fiddling.Also […] I have had a problem with my 'deposit ' money going back into my bank account. It seemed to have got stuck somehow and I had to contact both my bank and the hotel to rectify this. Overall though a good stay in a comfortable, clean and conveniently located hotel. "Weekend Getaway"
It was ok, good standard & pleasant. Unfortunately in middle of repairs when we stayed but hopefully this will enhance hotel when work finished! Hotel is in a v nice area & close to West End. "Super Convenient Location"
We had a very pleasant stay at The London Hyde Park Hotel; it was an excellent hotel. The hotel was undergoing some renovations, but everything seemed in good working condition, and the only noise was during the day when we weren't really around (we only heard it when we checked in, or if we popped back in the afternoon to change or drop things off […] in our room). Our room was quite comfortable, though we weren't spending much time there. It was a little on the chilly side, but then again, I was sleeping in the bed furthest from the heater, closest to the window. Sleeping with the covers on was fine, but if you were just sitting in the room, you'd need a sweater. We arrived early due to our flight times, and hoped to be allowed to leave our luggage in storage until checkin-in; however, we were pleasantly surprised to be told our room was ready and we were able to check in before noon, which was fantastic. The location is wonderful - the hotel is located in between two Tube stations - Notting Hill Gate and Queensgate - offering easy access to the Central and Circle lines. The staff were quite friendly and helpful, and storing luggage after check-out was very easy and convenient, for those of us that had late flights out. My only complaint is that while there is free WiFi in the lobby of the hotel, there is no access in the rooms. This hotel was covered in scaffold at the front of the hotel and i wasn't impressed initially. The stay was fri to sun so the noise of builders didn't bother us after the first hour of the stay. Was able to check in early (before 1PM I think?)which was extremely convenient as we'd arrived around 11AM. Took about 30 mins from Heathrow and only needed to switch trains once which was very easy. "Excellent location, convenient to transportation.."
Walking distance to Kensington Palace, Notting Hill and Portobello Road. Transportation in London is very easy, once you get the hang of it. Tour bus is right outside of the hotel as is the regular bus stop. The tube is within walking distance (a couple of blocks) and there are lots of places to have a bite. Breakfast at the hotel was yummy and filling. […] The only negative is that you cannot get wifi in the room so you must pay for internet. "pleasant and convenient"
Very centrally located close to Hyde Park and Queensway station. It was only a few minutes walk to the subway. Clean and spacious rooms. We were a bit unlucky and experienced construction work outside the room and there was a little noise between rooms, but no more than that it went well. "Nice place for the price"
I stayed in this hotel for a night while on a trip through Great Britain. I had stayed at another area hotel during my trip and this hotel was much nicer, though in the same price range. Room had a nice view of Hyde Park and was super close to a tube station. Room was quite large (compared to everywhere else I stayed on my trip) and had a nice bathroom […] and flat screen tv. Downside was we rented a "king" room which turned out to be two twin matresses pushed together. Not too comfortable... Other than that, no complaints. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Check in was efficient. Room was clean and spacious. I'd stay there again. It is on a major street and I could see it getting a bit noisy, but we had no problems. A former Ramada property that has seen its better days. There is no obvious owner displayed anywhere (however, Hilton rewards were displayed on reception, but very low key. Embarrassed perhaps?). Reception was very efficient, breakfast staff less so. Room was clean and quiet, but emphasised the tiredness of the property. Retro feel and missing enamel […] from the bath. This location is wonderful as the hop on and off bus stops right in front of the hotel. Tube stations were only a few minutes walk away and so were the city buses, restaurants and small shopping. I have stayed at other 4star hotels which are better, but Hyde park hotel is at a great location and has a v.good service. Breakfast was also quite good. I asked for a room on one of the higher floors; the request was met and the room had nice views. For a busy hotel in the centre of London, the staff were warm, friendly and extremely helpful. "Does what it says on the tin!"
The hotel was pleasant, clean throughout, and well kept. Bedrooms were fine, although one of the beds was a little tired and sagging. Check-in and checkout were a little slow. Breakfast buffet very good. An easy walk to Nottinghill Gate or Queensway tube stations.Recensioni obiettive Hotels.com

"Great location and staff but not 4 star decor"
Great location - right opposite north-west end of Hyde Park - 2 min walk from tube and bus stop. Staff excellent and great service. Beds were very comfortable and had a great night's sleep. The bathroom mirror was clever - the middle bit didn't get steamed up by the shower! Hotel definitely in need of refurbishment - not 4 star standard - only free […] wifi in public areas. Would have welcomed a fridge and the Air con good in reception but not great in the room. Breakfast adequate, but did they water down the orange juice? We asked for non-watered down version and it was only slightly better! Would stay again based on location and service, but improvements needed!
