Offre più di quel che credevo, anche se il parcheggio e la navetta per l'aeroporto sono i punti deboli. Ma se si è a piedi è perfetto. Alla reception Anisa è molto helpful e in generale sono molto disponibili

Recensito da un utente di Hotels.com in data 9 gen 2013Sito nella zona di LaJolla,che andrebbe visitata,questo Hotel dispone di camere grandi e ben pulite.Nel complesso non potrei lamentarmi se non della rumorosita delle camera che con finestre oramai datate (dispongono di un solo vetro) mi hanno privato di un sonno tranquillo(la finestra dava sul parcheggio).Concludendo,non mi sentirei affatto di sconsigliare questo Hotel.Probabilmente ci tornerei.

"Un assaggio di California"
Recensito da un utente di Hotels.com in data 11 set 2012Alla reception 2 signore salutano con un mega sorriso ed un “benvenuti in California”, e ti aprono le porta al loro piccolo hotel su 2 piani. A prima vista sembra un motel, ma al suo interno racchiude un angolo di verde e di pace che ti fa sentire come su una piccola collina al di fuori della città. Semplice e pulito, è un ottimo punto di partenza per girare la città e raggiungere le spiagge.

"Great and comfortable"
Always a great experience. The rooms are perfect the beds and linens are so nice and comfortable. Check in was quick and staff friendly! Also they offer in room check out which is also convenient! I felt deceived by the way the hotel is portrayed on the website. The hotel's picture shows a small intimate and cozy retreat, that is the picture of just one part of the hotel. the building where my room was is far from where I checked out, the building has a grey look to it, it is grey cement block. it is hard to find, I asked one of the employees […] to help me find the building I was staying in and she replied she was not familiar with the area. We also mention that we are situated on 32 acres, which include two gift shops, a full-service spa, salon and fitness center, 5 restaurants, 3 pools, etc. Our employees should all be familiar with our property and have access to property maps and signage throughout the property to assist guests in finding their way. "Nice room, but beds are UNCOMFORTABLE!"

"DO NOT STAY HERE!!"
This hotel was awful. I stayed only 1 night, but it was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. There was some gross goo on the counter in the bathroom (all over it), and the faucet looked like it had never been cleaned. The windows would not close so it was very cold in our room at night. There were a lot of very loud teenagers staying at the […] hotel who woke us up at all hours. That is not the fault of the hotel, but the open windows did not help as they congregated outside of our room. The sheets had pills (bumps) all over them and were very uncomfortable and the pillows were flat and useless. The wallpaper was peeling also. Honestly, I don't care that the decor was from the 80's - it was 1 night and that doesn't really impact me. But the place felt dirty. Also, I asked the front desk for some recommendations of where to eat, and the ONLY place they would recommend is their own restaurant. I would not stay here again!! "Being charged to pick up a box sent to my room"
The hotel is difficult to move luggage about. The lock up the luggage cart and it's not clear who you have to call to get one unlocked. When they do unlock them, you're now bound to a staff member to help. I went to the hotel for a tradeshow on-site. My company sent 1 pop-up banner, 1 small-medium sized box of give-a-ways and 1 small box of literature. […] I was staying for 1 week (over $1,200) and when I arrived, I was told I had to make my way to the back area where boxes were stored. I was then charged by weight of box at $10, $10, and $25 to have them received. Folks this is the first time I have ever been charged by the hotel I was staying at to receive a box. Breakfast was not impressive unless you're talking about the charge; then it was quite impressively large for what you get. Dinner at on-site steak-house completely was terrible. Steak was undercooked, shoe-leather dry on the outside, and had the taste of dirty grill on it. Two bites and I was done trying to chew my filet mignon. "Not what I paid for"
I paid for a king room for my anniversary and they put me in a room with 2 double beds. We drove in at 2 AM and he front desk didn't think to tell me about the switch, so I discovered this when we were already at the room. The carpet was crunchy and I didn't want to be in there without shoes on. "Has everything you need in one place"
We loved this hotel. We just wish we were staying for more than one night. We stayed here after a trip to the San Diego zoo. They had multiple pools that looked great but we weren't prepared to go swimming. They have 4 onsite restaurants. We ate at 2 of the restaurants and were not disappointed. "OUTDATED ROOMS & OVER PRICED FOR WHAT YOU GET!"
We stayed here a couple nights, then moved to a different hotel...It seemed like the staff didn't really care about their guests- UNLESS you were using the convention center or having a large event..No laundry service on site, no elevators in most of the buildings & the property is so large- they give you a map, or will drive you around the property […] in a golf cart. We appreciate all your feedback, but did want to clarify a couple of statements that were made. We do have a laundry room on property and 5 restaurants and room service, as well as elevators in both high rises, just not in the two story bungalow area. I checked the restaurant schedule for the couple of days you stayed with us and found that room service was open 6am-midnight, Trellises Garden Grille (breakfast, lunch and dinner), the Sunshine Deli (7am-10pm) and Charlie’s (dinner only) and Kelly’s Steakhouse (dinner only 1 of the nights) . We have a schedule available to all guests and I am sorry if it was not provided to you. I also saw notes in your reservation saying you wanted to extend your stay with us, but the rates would be higher than what you received through the online site you booked with so you did not extend. I regret that due to hotel occupancy we were not able to extend the same rate to you. As I mentioned, we do appreciate your patronage and would like to have another opportunity to serve you so that you can get a chance to see what all our 32 acre property has to offer our guests. I was attending a conference at this resort. Myself and 2 other colleagues reserved 3 rooms with king beds. 2 of my colleagues were checked in by 11amd and myself at 2pm. All king rooms were gone and we were left with rooms with two doubles. When I contacted the front desk, I was given the feeling of too bad so sad and the girl actually politely hung […] up on me. If it would not have been a hassle for the purposes of accessing the conference, I would have went to the double tree up the road. My room was literally in the furthest corner of their 63 acre property and had a hotel roadway that was noisy. If you books a king room, I would suggest getting there at the crack of dawn to secure a king bed as there policy states, they are first come first serve.while I understand this policy, most hotels do not allow check-in until 2-3pm and I would agree if they released the king beds after early check-in time. Waited in a long line at midnight to check in. Not good for someone traveling on business that just wants to get to the room and go to sleep. Was sent to a room way out on the end of the hotel almost felt unsafe walking there as all the rooms have exterior doors and this is a large property. This is not acceptable. "Disappointing stay"
Upon check in I was informed that I would have to pay $8 a day for parking. Seriously? I'm a guest at the hotel and I have to pay for parking run by a private company. I reserved a room with one king size bed. When we got to the room there were two queen sized beds. I called the front desk and told them what I have reserved. The desk clerk informed […] me that they realized with I had asked for, but that no rooms with king beds were available. They should have informed of that at the front desk when I checked in. Handles on the cabinet housing the TV were broken and could not get the doors open to view the TV. I called the front desk again, and then informed me that they would send someone from maintenance up. They never showed up. I finally pried the doors open using my car keys. Thank you. Just a note, a refrigerator and microwave can be requested at no added charge. Regarding the pool, when a child has an accident in the pool or something like pizza is dropped in the pool, we do need to close it down and we cannot open it until it clears inspection. This happened over Labor Day causing the pool to be down for quite a length of time as it happened back-to-back. We do apologize for the inconvenience and were glad we have 2 other pools available for our guests to use in circumstances such as these. We look forward to welcoming you back to “beautiful San Diego” soon.

Hotel is old and outdated. But, is kept up as decent as possible. Rooms are extremely small. We had to put our port-crib half in the closet and half in the bathroom because there was no room elsewhere. Sink was our if order and the water barely comes out when taking shower. We asked for extra blanket and we waited for an hour and nobody showed up. "my fault?!?"
I arrived at 5:50 the schedualed check in time was 3:00, I was informed that my room was not yet ready and that it would be a few more minutes. About 15 minutes later I.was told my the room I booked, a non smoking room with 2 queen beds, was still not ready and if I would like they could give me a smoking king room. I declined, I had kids traveling […] with me and needed the two beds. At 7:00 I returned to the front desk and.was told the room was still not ready at which time I asked to.speak with a manager. The manager came out at 7:20, at which time she told me that they were not able to give me my room because my credit card had been declined. I told her I pre-paid for the room and that the money has been out of my account for five days, she then said that the reason my room was not available was because I requested a different room then I had reserved. Again I told her I pre-paid for a non smoking 2 queen bed room. At this time I was finally checked into my room without an apology. The grounds of the hotel were littered with garbage , the pool area was covered with used towels and trash, it was a holiday weekend, but that is no excuse for blaming the guest for their room not being ready on time . I was disappointed with the elevators, they were dirty and smelly. The room itself was clean. During the summer the sand and other items from the beach sometimes create an unpleasant odor and we were obviously remiss in getting the elevators cleaned in a timelier manner.
