Le foto apparse su internet non sono veritiere, l'albergo è obsoleto. La camera è un piccolo e comodo appartamento in una ottima posizione. La zona è bella ma portatevi i tappi per le orecchie in quanto piuttosto rumorosa, gli eco delle auto e delle sirene rimbalzano fra i palazzi soprattutto la notte! Comoda la cucina in camera, dopo 18 giorni di cibo […] americano Stefy ha avuto la brillante idea di preparare un'ottima cenetta in camera !! Lo consiglio ... ma non aspettatevi che sia moderno e bello come le foto. A piedi a 3 minuti c'è il quartiere di George Town poco descritto dalle inutili guide ma ... di sicuro il più caratteristico della città. Ottima posizione e rapporto qualità prezzo vicino a fermata bus, subway e quartiere george town, in pochi minuti a piedi si arriva al lincoln memorial. Overall, the hotel was very good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was good--a bit on the expensive side and more water than oatmeal for breakfast. But the room was large and clean and the location was great--near the Foggy Bottom Metro. "Above average but not worth $329 a night"
I've stayed in many hotels of varying quality all over the world. This hotel has an EXCELLENT location, is clean, rooms are very large and staff were friendly. The hotel shows some wear and tear and could use new mattresses. But it was doable, just not for the remind price I paid due to graduation weekend. The staff could not have been nicer! I had a very large, comfortable room with a full kitchen. The location was very near the client I was working for on this trip. "Convenient & comfortable"
This hotel is a block from the Foggy Bottom Metro station and a block from a Whole Foods store. Because it has a full kitchen (micro, refrigerator, sink, stove, pots, pans, dishes, glasses, etc.) we were able to have breakfast and another meal in the room and be able to afford a really nice restaurant for a meal each day. This hotel is in a very convenient location with lots of good restaurants within walking distance. Metro stop is about a 2 block walk and the White House is about a mile away--also a nice walk. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was old but the furnishings were updated and clean. The room includes a full kitchen with stove, full sized refrigerator, […] and microwave. Appliances were aging but functional. On the down side is the hotels proximity to GW Hospital. "Spacious suite / fantastic location"
The location is great, we could easily walk to Georgetown and the White House. Just two blocks walk to the subway station and on the route of the Circulator Bus. Also close to the GW university hospital which unfortunately brings ambulance siren noise at random times. There are a few good restaurant options around this area, including the bistro at […] the hotel. The Whole Foods market, two blocks away, was a favourite for breakfast. The suite was spacious with a complete kitchen, and a good plan layout. This spaciousness is a true find at this central location, and makes it a very good place to relax. We had a problem with the heating the first evening and were upgraded immediately to a larger suite with a full bathroom and a powder room. The front desk staff are responsive and courteous, the concierges always eager to help, and the cleaning team is excellent, our room was thoroughly cleaned every day. The building is older and would benefit from new carpets and replacement of tired doors, paint, etc. The internet service is not good, intermittent and slow. Heating equipment is a bit noisy. Be prepared to pay $25 per day if you require adding a roll-away bed, this fee seemed excessive. Overall it was a great place to stay, we would stay there again and recommend this hotel to others. "Heart of DC"
We were looking for a nice, central hotel for our first trip to DC and we consider ourselves lucky we found this one. Its location is perfect for walking to Georgetown and to the National Mall, or for taking the Metro farther afield. The room service cheeseburgers were so good we had them twice, but we also used the room's kitchen and fridge during […] our stay. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, particularly the doormen. The free fruit at the entrance was a very nice touch. The room was spacious with a big flat screen TV for resting after a long day of tourism. The only quibble my wife could even think of after a week-long stay was that she didn't like the showerhead in the bathtub (it seemed fine to me). We would stay here again without hesitation. We have stayed at this hotel at least twice in the past. The staff is always polite and helpful. We enjoy being close to the Metro because we never try driving around the city after we arrive. "Suprised in a good way"
The hotel was great - very friendly and nice staff. There were a few hiccups in the reservation I made, but the hotel contacted me ahead of time and fixed it on their own and were very accomodating. The room was huge - like an apartment. Came with whole coffee beans and a grinder - which is way better than crap hotel coffee. On the same trip I stayed […] at a Dupont Circle hotel which called itself "luxery" - but was far from it. I actually missed the One Washington Cirlce Hotel and wished I had stayed there. The one poor note was that the fitness center is small, one machine was broken, and it was busy. Overall you cannot beat the price, size, cleanliness, or friendliness. It's next to Georgetown and maybe 2-3 blocks from the Foggy Bottom metro stop. It was not the fanciest place, but it exceeded my expecations, much more than the "fancy" hotel did. This hotel has a full kitchen, it is more like a small apartment. My room had a nice balcony. So it was really comfortable, far larger than I needed but when I go to DC with the family I will be staying there. It was reasonably priced and was easily reached from the airport (6 stops on the blue line). I took my son and daughter to DC to visit GW University and chose this hotel for its proximity to the school and Georgetown. Our 1-bedroom suite greatly exceeded my expectations. The kitchen was separate from the living and bedroom area. The hotel used to be an apartment building, and this had the feel of a small apartment rather than a hotel room. […] The kitchen had a microwave, gas stove, refrigerator, sink, cupboard with pots, pans, plates, cups, glasses, etc. Since the hotel is within walking distance of a Trader Joes and Whole Foods we could easily shop for some of our food and eat in, saving money. One other noteworthy thing that may sound small but to me pushed this experience over the top in a good way was that instead of the standard hotel room coffee packets for the morning coffee, there was a jar of coffee beans and a coffee grinder to make your own freshly ground coffee. Overall the experience was fantastic, the location great, and you can't beat the space for the money, at least in the 1BR suite. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely go back. "Better than a Holiday Inn"
Stayed in a 1 bedroom suite w/a kitchen. Room had been updated but carpet was dirty. Also, room was on the first floor and was quite loud. Window in the bedroom had a blackout shade, but it was placed so far away from the window tons of light still entered the room. Being on the first floor, this was annoying. "Great Place and Location"
We enjoyed our stay. The place has been redone since the time I used to visit for meetings 15 years ago. Good in-hotel restaurant and bar. The Metro is just across Washington Circle from the hotel. "Would Return!"

"Convenient, nice hotel starting to show its age"
Nice hotel, very friendly staff. Many rooms are mini-suites with seating area and kitchen. Hotel is clean, staff is friendly and it has the air of luxury, but rooms show some age with somewhat worn carpet and furniture. Convenient, two blocks from Foggy Bottom Metro stop, 10-15 minute walk to Georgetown.
