il mio soggiorno nell'hotel airport inn e stato buono, siamo stati prelevati dall'aeroporto che e molto vicino all'hotel e poi riportati alla fine del soggiorno. e in periferia di salt lake city ma come esci dal'albergo c'e la fermata del bus 550 che ti porta in centro e in stazione. ho avuto difficoltà con la lingua perche nessuno oarlava italiano ma mi e stato utile per imparare almeno qualche parola..... hotel molto pulito e utilizzo della piscina che trovi nella holl sottostante. camera grande con letti a due piazze comodi, tutto sommato accettabile se uno non e un tipo sofisticato quindi lo consiglio sia per la qualità che per il prezzo.

On the way to the international airport, we stayed just one night. The position is excellent: very close to Temple Square and to the airport. The room was clean and the hotel silent. Ideal ratio between quality and price!

Arrivare alla struttura se si proviene dalla I-25 è molto semplice, solo pochi isolati dallo svincolo. Su nostra specificarichiesta abbiamo ottenuto una stanza al piano terreno, la 111, molto ben isolata acusticamente e degnamente arredata. Cinque isolati, più o meno una decina di minuti a piedi, e si arriva a Temple Square. Ci sono anche hotel più vicini ma il rapporto qualità/prezzo fa del Metropolitan Inn una scelta azzeccata. Peccato che la colazione venga offerta nella hall, che non eccelle per ampiezza (solo tre tavolini con sgabelli alti) e che non sia il massimo in fatto di scelta. Se arrivate di sabato, non perdetevi il concerto (gratuito) della domenicamattina alle 9.30 al Presbiterio Mormone di Temple Square. Circa 200 coristi e 70 musicisti, oltre ad un'acustica ed effetti-luce straordinari, vi doneranno brividi raramente eguagliabili.

"Seems fine to me"
Nothing wrong with the room at all. Clean, easy. No complaints. Good enough pool and hot tub too.
Beds very uncomfortable, everything else for us because we have a big dog nice.

"La Quinta in Midvale"
The pool was clear full of dead bugs and the water so murky from overuse of chlorine that you could not see the bottom. It actually gave one of my children a rash on his face and hands. The carpets were filthy and worn out and the entire hotel smelled of cigarette smoke. "OK"
I love La Quinta hotels and try to stay there wherever I go but this one legitimately has some issues. It is old, moldy and cigarette smelling, slightly dirty. And on a Sunday night... trying to get some sleep before a huge work meeting the next day the garbage man came through at midnight then at 2 a.m. not very conducive.
"Right off the Freeway"
72 blocks South of Downtown, so not a close choice if your visit takes you downtown, but it is literally RIGHT off the Freeway. (Although quiet) The staff was exceptionally nice. Breakfast was typical bagels, muffins, yogurt, cook your own waffle, etc.

"Mixed results"
We had two rooms reserved and ended up receiving rooms at opposite ends of the hotel. The quality of the rooms was vastly different. One was completely fine, but the other was not really clean and very worn. So my recommendation would be to insist on a nicer room if the one received is not up to par. They have them available.
It was conveniently located. Clean and comfortable. A fair value for the money.
"Value! Clean, Decent, Affordable"
The hotel was clean and in decent shape. It didn't smell the best, have a real wonderful feel, nor was the breakfast really great but for the price paid, and the location, overall it was a pretty decent deal. Did not check out the pool or other features as we were just staying one night for a professional conference.

"great customer service"
I appreciated that when my tv didn't work, they immediately switched me rooms. I was frustrated with the internet. It went down several times. I would suggest putting fridges in the rooms, but other than that, it was great.
Hotel was close to my family whom we were visiting. the breakfast was good and we will stay there again

"Dirty, stinky, swampy"
Our room must have once been a smoking room becasue it stunk like cigarettes. It was also very damp in the room, and the carpet was actually wet. Housekeeping seemed like an afterthought. I got the feeling hosekeeping was only making the beds...and that was it. The one good thing about this hotel is it's proximity to the I-15 and the 215.

"Okay for one night"
This hotel is definitely one for the "OKAY" category. It is acceptably clean and the staff is pretty friendly, but the plumbing in our room was less than functional. The toilet didn't flush, even after the front desk guy came up and plunged. Very embarrassing and inconvenient. The pool was very out of the way for much of the hotel. You get a workout […] as you walk down the incredibly long hallway to get to it. But the hot tub was hot and the pool was clean. Both pluses. The breakfast was incredibly inadequate. "Just what I expected"
Expected a clean room, close to the highway and to the place I intend to go to during my stay. Staff are courteous.
"Very nasty place"
First of all, there is no elevator or easy access to the second floor. This would not have really mattered but the location of this MOTEL is in a "Rent a room by the hour" neighborhood so you had better take ALL of your belongings to your room. While we were in the parking lot there were three very unsavory characters looming around cars and looking […] in the windows! Second...we arrived after 2PM and in every hallway by every door there were piles of laundry that we had to maneuver around..SERIOUSLY??? I have never in my life had to look at dirty laundry sitting on the floor by my room let alone nearly trip on them. Hotels.com should not even offer this horrific place to anyone!!!! We did not stay. "My Thoughts"
I was very disappointed. The room was musty and smelled bad. The bed had been short sheeted and the covers would not even come up to covers us during the night. To top it all off they had closed the pool so that we could not even enjoy that part of our stay.

"La Quinta Inn-Midvale, UT"
For a hotel that is 50 years old, it was in great shape and clean. Continental breakfast was just right. days earlier we had booked another hotel using Hotels.com and were very disappointed. This hotel made up for that bad experience.
Staff wasn't friendly and rooms where not very clean. There was hair everywhere and the carpet was really dirty.

"Inexpensive and Clean"
Other reviews cited thin walls and other negative remarks. I found this hotel to be convenient to highway, clean, inexpensive and would stay again if I was in the midvale area.
Price was right, location was right, it was alright! i would defintely stay here again
"LaQuinta in Midvale everything you need for skiing"
Nice and clean rooms. We used it for few years for our ski vacation and very happy with this hotel and stuff. Continental breakfast is nice: boiled eggs, cereals, bagels, waffles, fruits and juices. Can be little crowded and hectic in the morning, but manageble . Very close to all major ski slopes. Operational hottub and small indoor pool are also big […] plus after day in the snow. The hotel was clean with friendly and helpful staff. They were pet-friendly and welcomed our dog. Good variety at the continental breakfast. Indoor pool and hot tub was fun!
