St Moritz Lodge Aspen

Nice small lodge, very polite communicative staff. Easy 10 minute walk to gondola and Aspen shopping. Good pool,perfect temp. Wish hotel would add brewed decaf coffee to continental breakfasts. Would stay there again.

Conveniently located in a quite part of central Aspen. Staff was very friendly, rooms were old and tired. Looked like a Motel 6 inside the room. Bathroom was remodeled. Towels and linens needed to be upgraded. For $50 more, could have stayed in a place that was much nicer. Probably wouldn't stay here again.

Hotel staff were fantastic! Super friendly. The room was great even though the beds were a little short. Even a person 5'10" had feet sticking out the bottom and for one 6'2", totally off. One bed had a tilt that was unpleasant. Otherwise, hotel was good and location near bus line or close enough to walk to town center. We booked on 12/25/11 for 1/6/12 […] and were happy with the reasobable rate. Breakfast daily was also good. Continua a leggere

This hotel is situated in a great location, the staff are very friendly, the pool is nice and warm, and the bathroom was very nice. Would stay here again.

We stayed for 4 nights and picked the place as it was the cheapest in town. We stayed already in other hotels in Aspen. The service is great, breakfast is very good and you get more than the average freezed melon pieces like in other hotels. The Jakuzi is large and you are wellcome to use it any time you want, thers is a piano where the stuff plays […] sometimes at night. The rooms are small but clean and the climate inside is not winter like overheated. We recognized this place not like a hotel but like staying with a family. Distance to the Aspen mountain lift is 10min by feet or you take the bus round the corner. Wireless access is free and very good. No refrigerators or vending machines fill the area with sound close to your room. A barbecue is also outside near the pool. We will go there again! We had just one night to stay in Aspen. We liked the quiet area, comfortable room and nice grounds. Would consider staying there again.

Driving at night is very difficult because streets are very dark, we had hard time to find the Hotel with no lighting outside the building

Beds were uncomfortable, sheets come off beds, bed spreads are really old and tired, friend had to use inhaler due to smell and dust, windows dirty, blinds broken. Not good.

The hotel is OK, the location is great, but my bed was not clean, and when I called front desk, the night manager said "you should have checked earlier, now it is too late". I was very upset. It is simple, and the rooms are fine, but the linens besides not clean were all ripped. Too sad.

I'm from Texas so it was weird not having A/C. The rooms were oudated and there was only a front desk clerk from 7a-7p. The pool is heated though so thats nice. In all, I mainly hated sleeping with the window open and people right below my window, no privacy.

Nice people, beautiful setting, decent free breakfast, very clean. Beds and chairs in hotel rooms are tired and uncomfortable. Bathrooms small but clean. Feels European; very eclectic clientele.

The hotel was set in a beautiful location - lots of flowers around and very scenic. Overnight parking was somewhat problematic, but we usually found a spot on the street. The walls were somewhat thin - and people used the pool way past "open" hours (some were in the pool at 4 AM!). Voices easily carried so if your windows were open, you were easily […] awakened. Great location for the price. Older room badly in need of an update. Nice pool area. On a side street with no traffic noise. No air conditioners in the rooms which make them hot in the afternoon when temps get in the 80's. Normally not a big deal in Aspen but there were a few days when a window fan would have helped. This is a well-run small hotel in a great location in Aspen. The rooms are modest but comfortable and the prices make it exceptionally affordable in this upscale town. It's an even better deal given that a complimentary breakfast is included. The manager is friendly and helpful. Recommended.

Room was large and clean w/ good kitchenette (which I didn't need for a one night stay, but would be great for a longer stay) Everything was fine. My only issu was that the room was on the ground floor next to the pool so the noise from the pool woke me early. Otherwise the location was great (5 min walk from downtown) and the room was good. tiny hostel rooms at aspen prices

Perfect distance from town center--an easy walk--but quiet and peaceful except fot the drunks staying at the hotel. Manager handled middle of the night drunks very quickly. No air conditioning, but ceiling fan helped a lot to cool with the small breeze fron the window. They don't advertise the free continental breakfast which is nothing special, but […] not bad if you're on a budget. We would go back---it's the best rate in town!! Free parking is very good as well. all was ganz gut. An in-house Clown for the Summer? Fabulous! Highly recommended for a short stay.

O St Moritz é uma excelente opção de estadia. Os atendentes foram muito simpáticos e atenciosos. O quarto tem bastante conforto e um visual bem legal, tanto interno como externo, já que tem vista para amontanha que fica bem próximo. O café da manhã tem boas alternativas, ainda que não seja muito variado. Durante o dia, o hotel oferece café, pipoca, […] bolinhos e até vinho para degustação dos hóspedes. A sua localização fica a menos de 10 minutos a pé do centro da cidade de Aspen. Porém, a parada de ônibus fica a duas quadras do hotel, caso não se queira ir caminhando. Algumas linhas são grátis, incluindo as que vão a Snowgrass, Buttermilk e Aspen Highlands (estações próximas a Aspen). Continua a leggere

Excelente hotel, com ótimo atendimento. Recomendo a todos que buscam a relação custo beneficio.

Das Hotel genügt den Ansprüchen für einen Kurzaufenthalt bis zu 3 Tagen.Da wir zu dritt im Zimmer waren, war es etwas zu klein, ansonsten i.O. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Es war incl. Frühstück.
