Recensito da un utente di Hotels.com in data 1 ago 2012Ho soggiornato una sola notte con la mia famiglia di cinque persone presso l'Hotel per una visita lampo alla ridente cittadina di Baltimora. La posizione dell'Hotel è assolutamente centrale e confortevole, poichè si affaccia sul porto turistico dove si concentrano la gran parte delle attrazioni turistiche. Si va dal Hard Rock Cafè, all'acquario, ristoranti di ogni genere centri commerciali e divertimenti per i più piccoli. La struttura è imponente e molto bella e confortevole. Dall'interno si può raggiungere il porto senza dover attraversare la strada ma servendosi di comodi cavalcavia che conducono direttamente alla prima struttura di negozi e attrazioni varie. La disponibilità del personale è massima, qualunque mia richiesta rivolta a chiunque di loro è stata soddisfatta con cortesia e disponibilità. All'ingresso è a disposizione un tavolo con bevande e stuzzichini di benvenuto. La stanza molto bella e confortevole ha tuttavia il problema, riscontrato in altri hotel prenotati, di avere solo due letti ad una piazza e mezzo per 5 persone, che ci ha costretti a stringerci. Tuttavia è molto confortevole ed elegante. Non si sono riscontrate inefficienze e la pulizia appare curata. Buona la colazione compresa nel prezzo, comunque contenuto. Ottima soluzione ma per non più di 4 persone.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. We just arrived on a sat afternoon in time for the manager's reception that the front desk staff informed us of, which was a nice way to unwind after checking in. Breakfast in the AM was the best complementary breakfast I have ever had with hot foods that included a made to order omlet station. The only bump in my stay […] was that housekeeping was very persistent about cleaning the room. We were preparing to leave at check out and house keeping continuously came back to see if we had left with one time coming into the room before I could answer the door, all before noon. "Could have been better"
This is the 4th Embassy I have stayed in and the first time any part of my stay hasn't been terrific! Pro's: Great value, Good Breakfast, Great to have the manager's reception. The Con's: Pull out sofa bed was damaged, the corner of the mattress was falling thru the springs, we didn't say anything, we lived with it. The shuttle drivers were not timely […] at all. We actually had to wait outside a rest for 40min. for a pick after we called! Unacceptable. Serious shortage on plates at the buffet line. However the worst CON was the pool and all it's rules! I had to toss out my coffee one morning because no beverages allowed! What? My coffee???? They also wouldn't allow my soon to be 13 year old in the pool! Must be 16! They hated this hotel. "Hotel reservation debacle"
I reservered a smoking room about a month ago. When I got to the hotel, they told me that there was no more smoking rooms. I wanted to cancel my reservation because taking an elevator just to walk outside to smoke every hour is not my idea of fun. Unfortunately, could not cancel because i can't get my money back if I cancel, even though they messed […] up. "Baseball vacation"
We vacationed 3/30/13 - 4/7/13 for a baseball vacation taking in five ballparks in six days. Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Washington DC, Baltimore and Philadelphia. Stayed in five hotels. By far Embassy Suites was best. With three adult travelers the hotel provided a suite with two beds in one bed room and a fold out sofa in another room, two flat screens, […] dining in the bar late night to steak dinner and drinks, a free breakfast buffet so you don't knock yourself out trying to find places to eat. "Making the best of"
Our utility company needed to make upgrades to the sytem in our neighborhood and therefore, had to cut power for the day. We decided on a "staycation", as the hotel was only 15 miles from our home. I'm glad we made the decision. The accomodations were large, comfortable and clean. We appreciated the manager's reception and our daughter loved the pool. This was a nice hotel. The name is really known for classy and nice and this is a hotel where the rooms and the amenities are dated. The place was clean and it was a good night stay but I would have expected more from the overall cleanliness and the decor in my room. "Close to airport, clean but needs updating"
Decor was pretty outdated, but room was clean. Free drinks from 5 - 7 and free breakfast was nice. Dinner was decent and wait staff was very hospitable. Koi pond in the lobby for the kids and an indoor pool. Karaoke and piano bar til 7:30 or so was fun. Shuttle provider was very helpful. "Not bad, but not quite at Embassy Suites standards"
The hotel was good, rooms were relatively clean and overall it was a good stay. The strange, thing is, there was nothing *wrong* with this hotel, but it's not quite up to Embassy Suites standards. It must be one of their first, because it's a little dingy, a little dark. Breakfast food was mediocre and manager's reception was a cattle call with beer […] involved. I loved my stay at the Embassy Suites Hotel near BWI. My only complaint is that paying $10 a night per device to log on to the internet adds up over a five night stay. We really enjoyed this hotel and would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. The staff was very friendly and there was plenty of them; even the pool had an attendant. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and they offered omelets cooked-to-order and there was enough variety of other breakfasts foods. The pool was one of the best […] parts of the stay for us, as it was actually comfortably warm enough that I could walk right down into it, instead of taking forever to get used to chilly water.
