We were very disappointed with our stay at the Hilton. The room was a nice size and it appeared to look good till we started to find things. The large lamp on the desk was broken and the light bulbs were just sitting under the lamp shade. The phone near the bed did not work. They only gave you one bar of soap, The bathroom floor looked and was dirty. […] The shower door had dirt and mold on the bottom of it. Close enough to everything that those who like to walk can find many restaurants, embassy's, government buildings, etc. Right on the Metro line which is a great way to get around Athens. Hotel is very modern and attractive. Great breakfast buffet.

We stayed in Hilton for a total of three days. It is one train station away from the city centre, Syntama. The nearby train station is just a 5 min walk. Very convenient indeed. The hotel is very well kept and the pub on the rooftop is very impressive. The room is spacious and neat. On our last night stay, the hotel upgraded us to a suite, which was […] a nice experience! The hotel itself, including the staff, is top-notch. I would definitely stay there again. The only complaint is the hotel's location. The way I remembered how to find it on my way back was to turn right at the DVD porn shop. It's close enough to walk to the sights, however, so once you get out of the shady neighborhood it's in, you're all set.

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in and I have been traveliing to europe for 15 years. Breakfast is amazing, the afternoon finger foodsare like a meal in it self and it includes all the wine/beer you can drink. The view is great and the pool is olympic size. You will not be dissapointed

The hotel was comfortable and well situated. We ate at their roof top Galaxy restaurant one night, which had stunning views of the Acropolis and of Athens.....and equally astonishing prices! There was no dedicated concierge, and the front desk took on that role. Recommendations for dinner restaurants in the area were extremely spotty, and on 2 separate […] occasions we found ourselves in areas we were not comfortable, or at restaurants where we were the only customers!!! The Hilton's reputation preceeds it. Excellent service and location. Ask for a room with the view of the Acropolis, worth the extra 40 euro. Price are out of this world, but worth being in Greece. Go to the Galaxy Bar and stare at the inception of democracy, the Parthenon.

The roof top restaurant is "untouchable " when it comes to their FOOD and SERVICE was my favorite and also the breakfast was EXQUISIT overall outstanding job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was my second time staying at the Athens Hilton and it did not disappoint. The hotel is great and very close location to the metro. You can also walk to the city center in about 10 minutes. Hotel is an excellent choice mid-summer with it's huge swimming pool after a hot day's sightseeing/shopping. Large, modern hotel excellent breakfast buffet. Very helpful staff members. Highly recommended although it is a little further away from central Plaka area than we thought.

The hotel is large, with a great location walking distance to many famous sites. The swimming pool is large, but not many people using it during my stay. Take advantage of the hip restaurant & bar on the rooftop with views of the Acropolis lit up at night.

Over crowded hotel that should not be concidered. The pool area was over populated, the service was mediocre for even a two star hotel.

Beautiful Hotel, beautiful view from the bar upstairs and the attention was exellent.

This hotel charges extortionate prices for internet access. Hotel of this class should really offer this service for free. The same goes for the gym.

We were on a family vacation with 2 kids under age 10. We read the previous reviews about location and neighborhood but Foder's recommended it and you can't go too wrong with a Hilton. We did not walk around the neighborhood so we did not find the subway. Taxis are fairly inexpensive in Athens and the Plaka is only 10 minutes away. The Hilton is located […] near the embassies so the neighborhood seems quiet, safe and clean. (Compared to the rest of Athens which seems to be almost scary, buildings covered in graffetti and neighborhoods that look like mini war zones.) We had a room with view of Acropolis and balcony which we enjoyed since we were not out too late with the kids. The outdoor pool was not opened yet but looked very nice, and the indoor pool was complete with a stationary bike in the water and noodles for the kids to play with in the water. The kids loved it. There is a small workout area, all machines new. The staff in the restaurants were extremely friendly and professional. Buffet breakfast good selection-omelets made upon request. The restaurant was good for dinner, the coffee shop not so good for lunch. Both a bit pricey, but you are in a hotel. Front Desk staff not as welcoming as we would have liked. However, they let us check in early and gave us a late check-out so no complaints there! The doormen were knowledgeable about where to go, although one didn't bother to check the back seats of the taxis when we got out like most 5 star hotels doormen. The Hilton is a large, clean hotel. The hotel and its employees met our expectations in every way. Well located, excellent breakfast buffet, friendly service and a great view from the Galaxy Bar on the roof.

Everything about the hotel is wonderful. The room was great and the food served in the hotel was nice. The taxi service was prompt and efficient and we managed to reach the airport within 30 minutes after leaving the hotel. Overall, we had a pleasant experience and enhoyed our stay.

Very good airy hotel, large bedroom, good bathroom, lovely view from the Galaxy Bar, but very pricey drinks! Walking distance from main city square, and metro.

We had a great time in Athens. The Hilton was immaculate. Helpful and friendly staff. Close to the Metro. Would stay there any time.

This hotel is one stop on the metro away from the centre of Athens but it is a really nice walk so try to make the effort. The surrounding area is pleasant with museums, embassies and the National Gardens nearby. The hotel reception area is huge, breakfasts are worth the price of the room alone, the pool is huge and spotlessly clean. Staff, on the whole […] are friendly - just don't fall asleep in one of the out of the way, quiet areas in the middle of the night while waiting for transport to the airport, the sleep Police (night staff) will soon put a stop to that without any sympathy! Try to get a room with a view towards the pool, you will be rewarded with a spectacular view of Athens city and the Acropolis at night, the other (back) view isn't anywhere near as special. In my experience, the Athens Hilton is the best hotel in Athens. Recently renovated, excellent service, great location. We enjoyed staying there for the second year in a row.

My only complaint is the outrageous fees they charge for local calls. I was charged redicoulous fees. Simply outrageous! When I complained and asked for a manager, I was handed an email address to submit a complaint. Again rediculous!

I have enjoyed my stay at the Hilton very much, however, I think that the fees they are charging for using the internet and gym are a disgrace. Many hotels of this class do not charge an additional fee for using the fitness club at all and the fee for the internet should be no more than 5 Euro a day if at all.

A beautiful hotel, which is to be expected as it is the Hilton. Unfortunately the staff didn't meet expectations. The hotel isn't set up for tourists (understandable as it's located in the business part of the city) but staff should still be 'in the know' and should readily offer to ring and book tickets/seats for excursions, offer advice on the taxi […] service etc, a guide book can only do so much! The hotel is excellently situated with the airport bus-stop right outside and the Metro just across the road. The buffet breakfast was excellent and included in the price but was ridiculously expensive otherwise. The room was huge and comfortable but was showing signs of needing some TLC, wallpaper peeling, floor scratched, only one cup for coffee/tea. […] The extras were very expensive however access to the pool (huge) was free. This was a very contemporary clean hotel, especially for Athens. The rooms are very spacious with european contemporary decor and modern conveniences. The bathrooms are marble and very spacious. The pool area is very "South Beachy" and the pool is quite large. The associated spa offers an indoor pool and modest workout equipment. Spa usage is 15 euro […] pp/pday. The major down side to this hotel are the ridiculous food/ beverage prices! 6 euros for diet coke!! (about 9 dollars!!)Pool side we ordered a glass of house wine and a coke zero...the bill was 19.5 euro!! Jeg og samboeren min reiste i sommer rundt på de greske øyer. Den siste natten før flyet vårt gikk tilbake til Norge overnattet vi på Hilton for å få en god luksuriøs avslutning på ferien vår. Hotellet har litt skuffende fasade, men på innsiden var det kjempe fint! Du kommer inn en stor loby med en hjelpsom resepsjon. Hotellrommet har den beste sengen […] i verden og det var et passe stort rom for to. Frokostbufeen er helt fantastisk og bassenget er en god ting å ha når en venter på at flyet ditt skal gå senere på dagen Hotellet ligger sentralt til Subway og Acropolis med et rolig nabolag. El hotel esta bien ubicado frente a dos estaciones de metro, pero tendrá que pagar carísimo si necesita internet, siendo un Hilton es lo menos que deben ofrecer, ni en el business center es gratis, el cargo es diario o por hora. en un mundo tan intercomunicado este Hotel se ha quedado atrás, y si va al bar preparese vea bien los precios!

Siisti hotelli, mukava huone ja allas-alue. Loistava aamupala. Suosittelen!

Sehr freundliches Personal, sensationelle Aussicht auf die Akropolis, hervorragendes Essen im Dachrestaurant. Leider sehr teurer Internetzugang.
