This is an old hotel that badly needs upgrading. However, there is a lot of hustle and bustle about the place that makes it interesting. The staff are, for the most part, very helpful and attentive. The locals like having weddings at this Hilton Hotel so you can observe traditional marriages if you are dressed properly and respectful enough to be invited […] in. The Ethiopians love the Hilton. The rooms are comfortable and the garden is lovely. But the hotel is run-down, and needs renovation. The carpets are dirty. The furniture is old and outdated. The hotel is full, busy, so it should be possible to renovate a 40 year old hotel, so it meets current standards. It is not at all in the same class as the Sheraton […] in Addis, which is brand new and meets international standards. Time for an uplift. Continua a leggere

Getting a little"tired" but saved by the staff who are consistently accommodating and pleasant. Check in/out can be slow due to technology problems. Not the staff's fault. Just be patient!

I stayed in room 501. The concierge told me that the room was visited by angels. Not sure if that was a euphemism - never did get a fuller explanation. Very roomy and even though it was next to the lifts, I didn't hear them once. Room service was great, as was the laundry service. Lots of gift shops, a choice of bars and restaurants and lots to do […] - mini-golf, tennis, squash and swimming. It's the warmest pool I've ever swum in - it's fed by a thermal spring. And swimming at high altitude is exhausting... I digress. Breakfast is a real feast and the evening meals were a treat as well. Wish I'd been able to spend more time there. The Hilton in Addis Abba is moderetly priced bathed in luxury in the middle of a rough city. Rough in the sense that it is underdeveloped. The hotel has a lot of different restauants depending on your tasteds swith one located next to the fine pool It is a clean safe hotel with nice shops, The staff is very professional. Excellent hotel and excellent value. Safe and secure. Desk staff and concierge were very helpful and courteous. Great base for touring this fascinating city.

Hotel is weliswaar wat verouderd, maar is een van de betere hotels in Addis. Vriendelijke service. Goede sportfaciliteiten. Zwembad ideaal voor kinderen.

Vi trodde Hilton var over middagshøyden og litt slitent. Standarden er imidlertid svært god. Uteområdet inkl svømmebasseng er velholdt og byr på mange muligheter for fysisk aktivitet og velvære. Inneområdene inkl rommene byr på komfort og funksjonalitet. Et vennlig og behjelpelig personell opprettholder god service. En touch av luksus til overkommelig […] pris og har ikke savnet noe. Si le Hilton d'Addis-Abeba n'est pas le meilleur Hilton de la planète, il n'en reste pas moins l'un des trois meilleurs hôtels d'Addis-Abeba. N'oublions pas que nous sommes au coeur de l'Afrique et qu'Addis-Abeba n'est ni New-York, ni Paris, ni Tokyo.

Den Saunabereich unbedingt meiden. Insgesamt hat das Hotel noch den Charme der 70ger.

Uitstekend: Vriendelijke staf in de kiosk op de luchthaven, met snelle transport service van en naar hotel. Portier verzorgde afgifte van een meegebracht pakket. Receptionist gaf op verzoek een wat beter gelegen kamer. Aan de bar prima finger feeds. Koffieshop: overvloedig en goed ontbijt. Goed: Kamer en badkamer: comfortabel, groot en schoon. E-mail […] en Telefonische informatie over transport van en naar luchthaven. Niet goed: Internetverbinding: keuze uit kabel of wifi; echter van matige kwaliteit (langzaam), en bovendien fiks geprijsd. Continua a leggere

Das Hotel, besonders das Personal ist wie in ganz Äthiopien so freundlich, daß man nie weider nach Frankreich oder Italien reisen sollte. Der Pool des Hotels ist für uns Europäer zu warm - die heißen Quellen in den 4 Randbecken sind für Rheumatiker super. Leider kann man sich kaum erholen, da der Hotelpool das Freibad von Addis ist.
