I stayed here specifically for the fact that the hotel was designed by the wonderful arne jacobsen. I love 50s styling! The room was a bit small at first I think it may be challenging for 2 people but nicely laid out with kidney shaped lights on the wood wall, very cosy! the curvy tiled bathroom was delightful with heated flooring too! the selection […] of tv channels was disappointing & the bed a bit soft but the enormous fitness centre was a great surprise! it's part of a national chain called Fitness DK so it's a full on health club right there! the hotel is very close to the train station as well for convenience. This hotel is ideal if you are staying in Copenhagen and want to be close to the station to get trains to elsewhere in Denmark and Euroipe

Very good quality hotel in the centre of Copenhagen, to be recommended!

A design hotel that had its glory for several years ago. It maybe was a five star hotel in the 60s but today its a stale business hotel. Allthough I enjoyed and appriciated the environment that A. J created

From the hotel it is easy to find where to go and the main attractions is close by. Nice bar in this hotel.

2 single bed 3 nights,when the order were 1 big bed, I was disapointed and I think that I will not stay at thkis Hotel again. stefan

The location of the hotel is absolutely great. Tivoli, Trainstation, Ströget... everything is close. But I'm not 100% convinced about the 5 start though. The room was a bit worn and regardless of the hight (11th floor) a bit noisy. Bed particularly would appreciate updating. Service was good.

A 1960 completed block building but very centrally located across from Trivoli Gardends and the Central rail station. Don't bother requesting a king size bed online because chances are you wont get one and they didnt make any effort to try when checking in. Despite signs say 100% Satisfaction Guarenteed, the toilet didnt always flush, a debside lamp […] was faulty and they only provided in-room coffee satchets for one drink each and milk powder. Very convenient (though not cheap) for a short stay. Restaurants limited- one very expensive and a set menu, other not a very wide menu- eat out- try Tivoli over the road in season. Interesting decor. Concierge was particularly helpful.

Nice looking hotel especially for those interested in design. Ideal location for the Tivoli Gardens and Central Station...very handy to and from the airport. . Also close to some good restaurants and main shopping area, 10-20 minutes walk away. Perfect location for a short stay.

Great location and got a nice corner roo overlooking the Tivoli but this is definitely not a five star hotel, I'd give it 3 to 3.5 at best. No turn-down service, did not neaten up toiletries during daily cleaning.. Room size average. Danish design component way over-rated. Really a decent commercial hotel in a great tourist location.

The hotel room was clean and comfortable with nice views over the city. It was conveniently located next to the popular tourist attraction Tivoli and was 10 mins walking distance from the popular shopping street Stroget. Overall a great stay and I would definitely recommend it to others.

Efficient and well-run, this hotel is well located and in excellent condition. My room was small but really well designed and maintained - and very clean. Recommended.

Great friendly staff, great room, centrally located, no hassle at check-in or check-out. I would go again. Eventhough the prices are not cheap it is actually not much more expensive than most other decent places in CPH and the location, service and rooms are highend

The hotel has a great location right by the central station and short walk to museums and shops. From the foyer to the rooms themselves the hotel is immaculate, very comfortable and friendly. Had a great stay

Check-in was extraordinary friendly and professional. The rooms are not huge but ok. Bathroom is ok but could be slightly more luxury for a hotel of this category. A high-floor room gives you a wonderful view over Copenhagen. All together an excellent hotel.

Kitty corner from Tivoli Gardens and just two blocks from a main shopping district where cars aren't allowed to leave the cobble stone streets as walking areas for shoppers.

Room was very nice. Larger than we expected. Clean, decorated well. Staff at hotel were very helpful and friendly. Location is very good being right across the street from Tivoli Gardens, and about 2 blocks from the central train station.

The location of the Hotel and the pleasant and very efficient staff made our stay enjoyable. The chap on the concierge desk when we arrived was a fountain of knowledge on local information (Kevin) he did know his stuff and was very helpful. The location was excellent as it was minutes and I mean minutes walk from the central station and also close to […] the main shopping are and only 15 to 20 mins walk through the shopping area to a great selection of restaraunts down by the canals. Very nice staff, very nice rooms - we were on the 19th floor with a great view from two sides. Suite was large and very comfortable They had a Nespresso coffee machine in our room which was much nicer than the normal instant coffee you get. 1) Black out Curtain does not Black Out completley - This is important as in the summer the sun never sets. 2) Hotel is Noisy - old 60's style bulding and receives noise from the street is it is the tallest building around 3) Breakfast very expesnive and cafeteria quality and service is 3 stars not 5 stars.

Very conveniently located near subway and train stations. Across the street from Hard Rock Cafe and Tivoli.

found it to be perfect - right next to station where you can get to airport easily and cheaply. room overlooked tivoli gardens which meant we even got a free concert that evening from our window! couldnt fault it.

Jacobsen design asside, the ONLY redeeming quality of this hotel is the location. My room was a single it was the tiniest room I've ever seen with a sliver of a twin bed. There was urine on my toilet seat and someone else's hair in my sink at arrival. The top floor has a "renowned restaurant" so confident in their service that they are closed Sunday's, […] require a reservation even from Hotel guests, and if you pay over $100 for dinner it's prix fix only, no a la carte. Room service was pricey but fairly crap, with an extremely limited selection and they close at 10 PM. Concierges were surly and spoke as if every question was stupid, no fed ex envelopes at Concierge despite calling ahead and being promised there was one there. Worst of all, the toilet always smelled faintly of sewage, likely due to the eco friendly flushing system that reuses not quite clean water, thus leaves fecal bacteria in your toilet at all times no matter how often you flush. The healthclub is nice, it's also a separate business run by someone other than Radisson. Scandic is right there, go to Scandic. Continua a leggere

Designed in the 60's - but you'd not know it. Every creature comfort available and with great style. Only mark-down is cobwebs at places in bedroom and some slightly dirty door handles, again in bedroom. Breakfast buffet is superb. Menu in Cafe Royal a little limited, food acceptable but there is huge choice of restaurants close by, so why eat in? Service […] is excellent in all areas. Bedroom is roomy and comfortable, great views over the city and port. Beds soft but very comfy, big fluffy pillows. Reading lamp did not work but room well lit. Will definitely stay there again. We stayed at the Royal Club room which is on the higher floor with nice view of the city. Great location as very close to the train station and main shopping street. Nice hotel but a little run down. The hotel looks nothing from the outside. The rooms are clean and the bed comfortable, services is as would be expected. Functional, clean, effective hotel. Lacks a swimming pool for a hotel of its size, centrally located.

The Radisson SAS Royal Hotel CPH was the best European hotel we've experienced. Our junior suite was an outstanding value due to the quality of the room furnishings, the view and the breakfast.
