Hotel ben tenuto, confortevole. Ideale per chi vuole stare in downtown. Siamo stati anni fa in hotel analoghi che però costavano di più. Offre più di quel che credevo, anche se il parcheggio e la navetta per l'aeroporto sono i punti deboli. Ma se si è a piedi è perfetto. Alla reception Anisa è molto helpful e in generale sono molto disponibili

Sito nella zona di LaJolla,che andrebbe visitata,questo Hotel dispone di camere grandi e ben pulite.Nel complesso non potrei lamentarmi se non della rumorosita delle camera che con finestre oramai datate (dispongono di un solo vetro) mi hanno privato di un sonno tranquillo(la finestra dava sul parcheggio).Concludendo,non mi sentirei affatto di sconsigliare questo Hotel.Probabilmente ci tornerei.

"Good, but not great"
Great location. The hotel was under construction when we were there so it was a little noisy and messy. They charge $33 for parking which seems a little much given the fact it's not downtown. "Run-down and dirty"
A friend and I had rented rooms for a 3 night stay. On first glance the rooms appeared somewhat outdated but on closer look it became apparent that the rooms are in bad need of renovation as paint is peeling from walls and wallpaper is separating from the drywall, etc. On even closer inspection, it was apparent that the rooms had not had a thorough […] cleaning - or at least had not been cleaned by someone that was halfway observant - in quite awhile (bodily fluids should not be dried onto the vanity or be under the toilet seat of a "clean" room). I don't care about outdated, but dirty and dilapidated is another thing. To add insult to injury, the parking fee (which was NOT valet) was outrageous as well as the newly instituted "resort fee". "Very happy"
This was awesome!! We had 2 little kids and the pool area was so perfect! It had a kids pool and an adult pool, 2 jacuzzis, cabanas, ping pong, large sized chess set, and more. The room was very nice, comfortable and clean with a great view. There is a coffee shop and quite a large gift shop. There are tons of restaurants about a mile away. "Not worth it"
For a Hilton hotel, I expected it to be nicer. The room itself was nice, and the pool area was great, but the surroundings were not so good. I could live with that, if they had told me upfront about the extra fees they would be charging me, which they did not. I was told I'd only be charged for parking (ridiculous, since this is not a downtown hotel, […] and there is ample parking), but they tacked on a "resort fee" after I checked out (I discovered it on my credit card statement). When I inquired about this fee, I was told it was for the resort activities, including "free" wi-fi, among other "free" activities. Won't stay here again. "Quick getaway"

"Definitely not 4 stars"
Booked this hotel because the pictures looked nice and it had a "four star" rating. It was $33 to park (self-park, not valet) and our room number didn't exist on the floor directory. It took several trips down to the office to finally find our room. Room condition was fair, but not on par for a four star (maybe a three star). View was awful, and we […] were right next to the highway and railroad so we had noise all night. The hotel was not walking distance from anything desirable. I will not ever stay here again. This is the second time we've stayed here. We love this hotel and the pool and ammenities are great. Situated on the bay and the walk ways around the waters just adds to the beauty of it all. The Hilton at Mission Bay is a lovely facility. I was personally alittle put off by the excessive charge for parking your car overnight. $33.00 per night seems way too high on top of the cost for your room. Hotel employees were very cheerful, professional & helpful. Amenities were excellent. Food prices could have been a little more reasonable. In terms of room, the bathroom could use a towel rack to hang the used towels esp if two people stay who want to be environmently conscious & not use new towels every day. "Wedding lunch and stay at Hilton Mission Bay"
My husband and myself had a great time at Hilton Mission Bay. We had our wedding lunch and Mr. Ronald Quiroz who is the Manager of Acua did a great service. The food was great and since we are vegetarian there was a menu for us. We stayed there and we had a complimentary breakfast too. "Great staff"
I recently spent two weeks at this hotel and I really enjoyed my stay. The front desk was always very nice to me, I believe the girl's name was Erica who help me. In the gift shop or market place, whatever you want to call it; this girl marisa gave me directions for pacific beach, I thought that was nice of her since I get lost a lot even back home. […] The liked the restaurant attached to the hotel mostly because of the staff; Louis (waiter) and Nema (hostess) in the morning and at night: Sarah(hostess), Chelsea (waitress), chris (waiter, jersey kid), Lindzee (cocktail waitress), Laurant (batman), I forgot a few names in there but anyway all of these people were great and I'll be back next year because of them. "It was just ok"
Why it was just ok was that it was a little boring first off. It was New Year's and we expected a more lively crowd. The entertainment for New Year's was boring too but the dinner was reasonably priced for what we got. The rooms were ok but not as clean as it could have been, fixtures were broken, etc. The rooms were also so far from the lobby, coffee, […] restaurant, pool and spa that we had to switch rooms to be closer to the hot tub which was a priority for us. also online I could sware it said there were 5 restaurants but there was only one and a very boring and dark lounge. There was a coffee kiosk but that was it for food and the one restaurant was a little high priced for what you got. Definitely don't order pasta there, its not seasoned or flavorful at all. The service in the restaurant was good. There was a shuttle (that cost money) but the times it was available was spotty and unreliable which made it costly to get around in taxis. "Beutiful and tranquil but musty and cold."

"Smelly hotel"
The good : Housekeeping staff was good, generous with towels. Good wine collection. The bad : Musky smell in the room, thin walls, noisy hallways, no wireless internet, no free internet, parking is 31$/night, no minibar in the room, room service is slow and food in the restaurant is really really bad. The ugly : Hotel's location is in the middle of […] a park. Nothing is close by. Restaurants don't want to deliver to this location. Hotel is near a bay (not the ocean), that no one goes to. "Popcorn ceilings"

"A bit isolated, watch for added fees."
This is a resort that has been here for a while, and it is on the water, but in the inner harbor of San Diego bay. It is quite a long way from anything else, the neighboring areas are a bit sketchy, and the transport to get there is a little uncertain - at least to me. The resort aspect was not much use in December, and so it was mainly a hotel to stay […] in. It is quite good as a mid-level Hilton hotel, the front desk staff were moderately friendly, although the music in the lobby was very loud and annoying. While the list price was good for the booking you have to pay a lot extra for the internet, and $32 a day to park a car! While that may be OK for a downtown hotel, that is not the case here. Hotel is good overall but hardly a 4 star resort. It's geared to conferences and families. We picked it because of the rate and proximity to Old Town. I factored in the parking which is priced ridiculously like valet but it's self-park. Look it up on the website and factor it into the overall cost if you are comparing.
