"Never again"
When I reserved this room I requested two queens non-smoking. Well I got the two queens but not the non-smoking even though the hotel staff insisted it was non-smoking. Will never stay here again.

This motel was a fantastic find as it ones less that half price of the in Charleston places. A short 9 minute ride to the visitor's Center, almost half of it over the beautiful Revenall bridge. Great spot for breakfast on premise. Definitely would stay again.
"Nice location"
I don't think I can complain about my stay too much, other than the fact that the rooms smelled like stale smoke, and at one point during my stay, I thought the refrigerator was going to explode in my face. Luckily, it did not. It is in a nice location with a polite staff.

Overall, the convenience and affordability made this a great stay. Staff is attentive to needs but there is a lot to consider. The price makes it a magnet for many types seeking affordable rates. My experience was having to share the room area with a lot of contracted workers who were not respectful of other people's stay. Loud, hanging out, drinking […] etc..Staff was attentive to complaints but sadly these particular guests were not attentive. Staff was on hand to resolve an issue in the room within 2 minutes of my making them aware of it. They could sorely use an update in terms of amenities, Furniture completely random and outdated and if T.V is not your thing then you will be fine. Just needed a place to crash for a night before loading into a sailboat for a week down the SC coast. Hotel was clean and in a safe neighborhood. Close to restaurants on Shem's Creek (excellent eats). The drain in the tub was a bit slow but clean and comfortable overall.

"Great location and nice hotel"
We had a nice experience with this hotel. It was close to everything and was perfect for the price.
"Close to bridge with easy access by walking"
Went down with 14 boys for a baseball tournament and the stay suited well with what I had. A little outside of downtown but very accessable to the bridge for late night walks.

Good place for the money, I would stay again
"cockroach"
I stayed in this hotel in April 2012 and found a live cockroach in my room. The hotel itself is older, the beds were not very comfortable. The high point is that the location is convenient. We stayed here because the price was right and we have been happy with other Days Inn experiences, in different towns. However I will spend more in the future and […] avoid this particular Days Inn! "A positive and convenient experience"
This Days Inn was a pleasant surprise. Very conveniently located, with restaurants and stores within a half mile and easy to get to. Room condition was a basic motel room, but was clean and comfortable. My room location (121) faced away from the main road and was very quiet. A good place to stay for a night or two.

"he DI Patriot's Point SC - not on par w/other DI's"
The room was comfortable. The elevator was filthy. A plastic ceiling light cover fell on us the 2nd day. It was a fall hazard lying in 2 pieces on the floor. We reported it to the desk & were told "maintenance will be be here in a little while.

"Good location, but........"
Under repair work not encouraging. Over use of deoderant in rooms was overbearing. I have stayed in this hotel several times and it seems to keep reducing in quality.

Hotel was clean and it was easy to find right over the bridge and not far from all the places I went to visit with my sons school class trip.

Staff was really nice. Services were performed thoroughly and quickly. Room was very comfortable and clean. My only dislikes were that there wasn't enough parking to get a parking spot near our room, and the WiFi kept having problems. But over all, it was a really nice place to come back to after a long day.
The discount received through Hotels.com made the room affordable for me. It was not a new facility, but clean and in good repair---everything was in working order, and properly stocked (toilet paper, kleenex, towels, etc.). When we asked to extend our stay another day, we could not get the discount rate so we returned home.

"Quiet, but Nearby to Attractions"
During our stay, the room was clean, quiet, and within walking distance to restaurants. It was also within driving distance of attractions (beaches, historical attractions, downtown Charleston, etc.). Plenty of well-lit parking spaces available. The hotel also offered us 10% off at the attached Huddle House. Great experience for the price. FYI: We had […] our 4 month old with us. "Checking out"
We liked everything about the room but I was upset becasue before going to check-out on Sunday we went to have breakfast at the ajoining Huddle House and we went back to our room at about 10:30 to get the last few things and make sure we hadn't left anything we couldn't get back in the room. We went to the front desk and they reactivated our card but […] gave no explanation or apology as to why our key had been cancelled before we actually checked out. "Convienient Location near Patriots Point"
And only minutes from downtown Charleston a great hotel in a great location. The rooms are large and clean...and the service is top notch.
The hotel was inexpensive, clean, comfortable, quiet, convenient to Aircraft carrier and Historic Charleston. The staff was friendly and courteous. The Huddle House restaurant within the hotel was quick clean and good food. I'd stay again given the good experience of the recent stay.

"Days Inn Patriots Point/ Charleston"
we planned our trip to Charleston last minute. I knew we wanted to stay in Patriots Point for our 10th anniversary i had to have a motel that excepted a small pet i found Days Inn! i"m such a phobe i read all the motel reviews this one had several bad comments on it i went out on a limb and booked it anyway it was perfect location to isle of palms, […] sullivans island, great restaurants,shem creek(great fresh seafood place),and shopping!!!! When we arrived at Days Inn the lady in the office was very friendly and helpful. We got in our room I was very surprised when I opened the door and done my inspection I checked everything! (The bed for bed bugs,bathroom shower, refrig, microwave etc. I didn"t find anything wrong very clean. I told my husband then that this motel had got a bad wrap for the price you can"t beat this motel we are for sure going back to Charleston and we will stay here again!!!!! They also have a Huddle House inside the motel that is opened 24hrs a day we ate breakfast there our food was very good.So hats off to Days Inn Thanks for a great stay!!! Continua a leggere
"Pleasantly surprise"
Met my sister in Charleston for a quick weekend getaway on short notice. I rarely take what people have to say regarding their stays, and I am glad! I really liked this place. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, and every employee we encountered was nothing but pleasant!

Room was very Noisy. We where at the stairwell, so we could hear everything. Also one day and night a dog was in a adjacent room howled and barked until at least 11:45 pm. On Saturday Nov. 12th we left for breakfast at 9:30 am and we returned to the room at 10:30, we came into the room and the beds where stripped and there was no towels. We left and […] came back at 4:00 pm and the room was still the same? No sheets or towels? We had to chase down house keeping and got some sheets and made the beds our selves. "Days Inn - Patriots Point in Charleston"
Arrived in Charleston after an 8 hour drive. We checked in just after midnight and were greeted by an employee who waqnted to be anywhere but in that office helping me. We got our things and headed up to our second floor room. it seems to me that the Days Inn are very cheap with their hotel chain. Everything about hotel said cheap. Everything looks […] old and worn...including what was inside our room. The cheapest TV money could buy...cheap, uncomfortable mattresses, door seals missing on the front door, cheap shower head from a local dollar store....holes everywhere that had been patched and repainted numerous times...the bathroom door wasn't square and would rub on the door frame...the shower drain wasn't draining properly so there was water up to your ankles by the time you were done. Just down the walk way there was bad water leak because water had pooled around the soda machines and ice maker(which was surprise surprise...broken). Even though it was too cold to go swimming, the concrete around the pool looked like it had done by a bunch of 12 year olds. Again....cheap.And all this right across the street from a brand new hotel from a famous brand. We did some research and this hotel looked like a good fit for our budget....How wrong we were. "Great hotel for the price"
We stayed at this hotel several years ago and decided to go back because the price fit our budget. It's so nice to stay somewhere in Charleston with free parking. The front desk clerk Sherry was very nice and friendly, Our room was on the second floor overlooking the courtyard. The room was clean and orderly. The hot shower (so nice to have hot water […] in a hotel) was very relaxing. The only negative comment would be their mattress was pretty uncomfortable. My room mate also complained about back pains. "DAYS INN PATRIOTS POINT-- MY KIND OF MOTEL"
SECOND TIME WE STAYED HERE AND WE GOT THE SAME ROOM. THAT WAS NICE LIKE GOING TO SECOND HOME. FOUND IT TO BE JUST AS CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE AS BEFORE. DESK CLERK WAS SO HELPFUL AND CHARMING. WOULD RECOMMEND TO MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS. WE ARE PLANNING OTHER TRIPS AND WOULD LIKE TO STAY HERE AGAIN.
