Mi sono fidato delle recensioni prima di scegliere questo hotel e devo dire che non sono rimasto deluso. La posizione è veramente ottima, vicino ad un grande centro commerciale all'aperto con vari negozi e ristoranti. L'atmosfera non è quella tipica dei grandi alberghi, ma più vicina a quella di un residence. Elevata la pulizia. Il servizio manutenzione, che abbiamo dovuto chiamare per un piccolo problema con il condizionatore, è rapido ed efficiente. Molto gradito il parcheggio gratis. Un po' scarsi i prodotti trovati nel bagno: abbiamo dovuto far richiesta dello shampoo.

bellissimo hotel, confortevole, silenzioso, stanze ampie e pulite. Buona la cucina del ristorante, per la posizione è più adatto a chi si reca a LA per lavoro...

"Ottimo albergo di design!"
Ottimo albergo di "design"...decisamente "in"... perfetta posizione per andare sia sulla "walk of fame" (Hollywood) sia a Beverly Hills...anche a piedi!
"Perfectly positioned to access all 'must do things"
Whilst the hotels pool area was under renovation hotel staff where extremenly considerate of the inconvenience and did their utmost to ensure we were compensated and enjoyed our stay. I can highly recommend the Mondrian as your first choice of hotel when staying in LA.

"Loud housekeeping"
When I checked in they told me that the pool and skybar were under construction. They apologized that hotels.com did not disclose this and upgradede to a larger suite and gave me free wifi and two $25 certificates for drinks or breakfast. The room was 216. It was a corner suite with nice views of west hollywood and a view of the pool that was under […] construction. The room was nice, bed was comfy, shower was decent but no tub. There was a small tv in the bedroom area and a huge Cinderella double sided mirror separating the sleeping area with the sitting area. One side of the mirror had a tv in it and could be twisted to watch in bed or in the sitting area. There was no couch just a decorative love seat and a drum shaped seat and coffee table. There was plenty of room for a couch however. The biggest problem with this particular room was the noise level. The construction noise on the pool below was actually minimal since it was the weekend. The more disturbing noises were the a/c turning on and off and the constant opening and closing of the linen closets right outside the door. It was so disruptive that I had to download a "white noise" app on my iPhone to drown out the slamming of doors and the loud sound of the a/c shutting off. Other than that the stay was fine. The best part was the room service. I had the Cuban sandwich which was decent and we also had the short ribs bowl which was very good! We also had a huge slice of carrot cake. Continua a leggere

Excellent service and staff. Every staff person was extremly attentive, friendly and helpful. Perfect location for high-end LA retail shopping and exploring all that West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, UCLA and Santa Monica beach have to offer.

"The Mondrain Los Angeles"
The hotel, is very fashionable and a lot of fun! The pool area is currently being renovated, so if you want to use it before the end of may, call and check!

Would stay their again just for access to the SkyBar which is hard to get into unless you are a 21yr old blond bombshell or famous.

"Refreshingly friendly and helpful staff"
Really great check-in&out experience at desk. Bell staff also lovely. Ate at restaurant - lunch - great, Had drink at bar in evening - staff great but wine terribly disappointing. NZ sav-blanc was served way too cold... And in acrylic !?!? Salad nice (from restaurant menu again) but plastic cutlery ( small cheap stuff - not even nicer bamboo style ) […] just didn't work... Better stuff on the plane! This was my only disappointment with the hotel... That aside, much more pleasant than previous LA hotel stays. Continua a leggere

"Stylish, dark, small rooms, nice views"
More attitude than altitude, the Mondrian is convenient, hip, and, if you can get a deal, fairly priced. Breakfast outside is nice, with great views, but the usually overpriced hotel tab.

Great hotel but very unfriendly to hotels.com guests. It first took us over two hours to check in. They would not check us in after showing them my hotels.com reservation. I then called hotels.com who quickly faxed them a copy of my confirmation. They still waited over an hour after receiving to check my in which by now was about 10:30 pm. Once they […] did check us in, they placed us in a room that was hidden behind the business center with constant noise and distractions all night (we were even told by one of the luggage assistants that it was by far the worst room in the hotel). After complaining and pushing for a room change at 3:00 am because we could not sleep, they finally moved us to a suite that was much better. In the end, I really appreciate their attempt to try and move us into a nicer suite to finish out the morning, but very disappointed and discouraged about taking over two hours to check in and getting the worst room in the house. "Good hotel but not for Sundays or Mondays"
I stayed here for two days on a Sunday and Monday. The staff were great, good location, has a gym and pool and Sky Bar is beautiful and cooozy. However, it is over priced for week days. If you are into night life, it's no point in staying here. Star Bar is dead on Sundays and Mondays. The Concierge cannot get you into the guest list of some of the good […] places. This is the second time I've stayed a Mondrian Hotel (South Beach was the other) and to be quite honest this is the second time I've been underwhelmed. I booked a King Room, the room was extremely small and didn't have a king bed. Not sure if they think people are not smart enough to know the difference between a queen size and king size, but most […] of us can. The other issue is the Sky Bar is cool, but very loud. Don't stay here if you want a good night sleep. For the noise and the uncomfortable bed will keep you up. The location is good and I am sure the views from the upper floors is amazing as well. The view from my room was of a bush, although they said it would "overlook the pool". I am definitely done with the Mondrian hotels. Much better options out there for the money. Continua a leggere
"Nice but overpriced"
For the most part The Mondrian is what you would expect out of a nicer hotel in the LA area but for the price (I compared pricing on several sites) it's a bit too much. Nothing really made this hotel stand out as exciting and mind-blowing. I doubt I'd stay here again as I know there are other comparable hotels pretty much across the street from this […] one. The room was cleanish but linens were noticeably smudged and the wallpaper was dirty around the air vent. The small king studio had an uncomfortable bed cramped in a corner of the room. "Hello LA"
Okay so this place is amazing! The staff were wonderful, the rooms were very nice and if you need somewhere to have a drink you can either go downstairs to the sky bar and check out the amazing view of LA or there are places walking distance away. I was very impressed with the hotel and I would go back in a heart beat!
"Mondrian in Los Angeles"
Great location for Sunset Strip bars and clubs. A decent walk to walk of the stars. Had a room on the 8th floor looking over the pool. We were warned about the noise from the Sky bar that finishes at 2am. This wasn't an issue as we were at the bar until closing time most nights. Sky bar is the place to be seen it would seem. "The Mondrian was a great choice"
My husband and i spent 5 weeks in the USA on our honeymoon and I'd have to say that the 4 nights we spent at the Mondrian were a real highlight. The hotel is what i would consider very 'LA' so if you're here to soak up the culture then look no further. When we arrived i was a little nervous because the hotel looked so swish that i thought the staff […] might be a bit pretensious but this was not at all the case. They were extremely nice and very knowledgable about touristy stuff to do. they even gave us a free upgrade when they found out we were on our honeymoon. (The room was absolutly stunning) The SKYBAR is awesome (if a little pricey but happy hour goes from 6 - 9 and had some nice cocktails) and has possibly the best view of LA. The hotel is walking distance from the Sunset Strip which has lovely restaurants. If we ever make it back to LA then i will without a doubt be staying here again. Continua a leggere

"Very stylish"
A very modern and well situated hotel. The restaurant (Asia de Cuba) has very innovative and tasteful food, a fusion between asian and western kitchens and very large helpings. The skybar is the best very beautiful and a lot of party with celebreties friday and saturday night (get a room facing away from the skybar if you sleep lightly).

Nice pool, nice hotel, you feel v.i.p. only one problem for me, while i was taking my shower at 11:30 pm , for 3 min the water stopped flowing while i was covered with soap. I strongley recommend this hotel.

having stayed at other mondrian hotels , this one is the biggest joke, if your going to be in the hollywood area, do not stay there you would be better off staying at the super 8 than there...i will never stay there ever again,

"stuck up staff"
The people who works at mondrian, receptionists and security etc. are extremely stuck up and make you feel like you are bothering them witch check in, questions and such. Thats the only thing that I really hate here.

"Perfect location for an LA getaway"
The Pool, Katana (across the street), SkyBar and late checkout, the perfect recipe for a weekend away
Hotel was hard to find only because it had no name written on it, so drove right by a at first. When we realized which building it was, it was fine. Room had great views of LA. Amazing views, actually. Front desk agent was extremely friendly and helpful. However, the lady at the bell stand handing payments couldn't get their credit card machine to work. […] Proceeded to tell us to get cash at the ATM (which charges a fee that she was unwilling to waive). Can't comment on restaurant or bar because didn't go to either. Continua a leggere

overall, not a bad place at all, they gave me a room with a super view, Im low maintenance and liked the bar, its still hip and the staff was fine, so stay with confidence and enjoy.
