Mi sono fidato delle recensioni prima di scegliere questo hotel e devo dire che non sono rimasto deluso. La posizione è veramente ottima, vicino ad un grande centro commerciale all'aperto con vari negozi e ristoranti. L'atmosfera non è quella tipica dei grandi alberghi, ma più vicina a quella di un residence. Elevata la pulizia. Il servizio manutenzione, che abbiamo dovuto chiamare per un piccolo problema con il condizionatore, è rapido ed efficiente. Molto gradito il parcheggio gratis. Un po' scarsi i prodotti trovati nel bagno: abbiamo dovuto far richiesta dello shampoo.

Molto gentili, camere un pò spartane ma pulite e spaziose. Colazione al piano terra ma "in piedi" o ai tavoli fuori se il tempo è ok. Park gratuito a due passi. Vicinissimo al Kodak . Buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Tornerei sicuramente

bellissimo hotel, confortevole, silenzioso, stanze ampie e pulite. Buona la cucina del ristorante, per la posizione è più adatto a chi si reca a LA per lavoro...
Posizione
A West Hollywood, nel quartiere dei cinema/teatri, London West Hollywood si trova a breve distanza dai seguenti luoghi di interesse: Whiskey a Go Go, Museo della Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences e Paley Center for Media. Nella stessa area sono inoltre presenti: Grauman's Chinese Theatre e Kodak Theater.
Caratteristiche dell'hotel
La struttura London West Hollywood dispone di un centro benessere, una piscina scoperta e una palestra. E non è certo un caso che nel quartiere di Melrose, a est di Beverly Hills, si trovino anche ottimi negozi di seconda mano. Proprio nell'ambiente dinamico di Melrose hanno la loro sede numerosi studi di design. Nelle vicinanze, West Hollywood, detto anche WeHo, è il centro della vita gay di Los Angeles.

Hotel di lusso, molto trendy, posizionato a due passi (nel vero senso del termine) da Sunset blvd e dai locali e ristoranti più famosi. Belle camere e ottimo ristorante
"over priced"
We stayed here for 4 nights and felt that the staff in this hotel had no personality It is a very pretentious place - it is LA - and although breakfast was great and location was good, i would prob stay somewhere with a lot more personality next time

Great service apart from room service who were a bit slow with their service! Had to call down twice for a coffee machine to be delivered! Location is great! Just off Sunset Boulevard. Complimentary breakfast is good! We went to Gordon Ramsey's restaurant for dinner and had the 3 course dinner for $72 pp. Food was delicious and presentation was good! […] For some reason it was really quite on a Friday night!? Only 4 tables in the house? Rooftop bar and pool area is great! Great views and private cabanas! "Beautiful hotel, maid service to be desired"
We stayed in a crown suite. A beautiful hotel with friendly (good looking) staff! Rooftop is a great place to hang out, although they even charge for un-asked for and what we thought were complimentary chips. Always some Hollywood thing happening at the hotel, you might see a star or two. Only downside was we paid for an extra half day and for some […] reason the house maid flung our dirty towels around the bathroom, removed the shampoo, body wash etc, didn't make our bed and dumped a pile of clean towels on an ottoman. Really annoying when it was costing half the rate for 5 hours. I would still recommend the hotel due to location and roof top is good if it's good weather. Continua a leggere

I stayed here a few years ago and thought it was a beautiful hotel, spotless and very chic. I returned for that very reason. Sadly, the hotel is showing some signs of wear in the restaurant and in the rooms. Our bathroom had some brown marks on the ceiling from a leak and the complimentary products weren't refreshed at all. It didn't have the same feeling […] of luxury. This is without doubt one of the most beautiful and comfortable hotels we have ever stayed in -- and both my husband and I travel internationally for business and have stayed in A LOT of five star hotels. The room, the roof top, the service and the hotel overal was awesome and i will definitely will be back. But I wasnt impressed at all with Gordon Ramsey's restaurant. I was really expecting more since he's such a "perfectionist" and trash talker in his show... Posh, but not over the top, this is the perfect place to indulge yourself! This was our 2nd stay, and we were delighted with both stays. Service is excellent and thoughtful, as is the food and the design aesthetic. Every moment was pure enjoyment, to the smallest detail. I highly recommend it!

"Failing Room and Restaurant Service"
The hotel shampoo and shower gel have never been refilled during our stay. We wanted to have a nice dinner at their Restaurant which was advertised as Gordon Ramsay Restaurant, the service was awful, at the end of the main course they remembered that we ordered wine, it was too late... And the location is not superb...

The hotel is nice, but for over 300 a night, it was not that nice. The bathroom was HUGE and really nice and I liked that the bath stuff was vegan. But the room itself was meh, not that great, and the lighting was weird.

Very pleasant and comfortable room. The personnel are pleasant and accommodating to your needs. The location of the hotel is just of Sunset and is convenient to specialty shopping and good restaurants. We have had pleasant stays here since the London openned.

"The London Hotel In Los Angeles West Hollywood"
The Hotel is stunning. From the entrance to the roof top terrace, the attention to detail is remarkable. Then it sort of falls short of magnificence. In the room nothing worked . The iphone alarm clock was useless even after it was replaced. The in room iron was designed by Mr Bean. You put water in it and it pished all over your garment. The fridge […] grumbled to you during the night and the internet didn't work. Though I do concede it may have been my software. The male waiting staff in the Boxwood cafe were almost friendly. Just a bit mute and unresponsive. and the ludicrous gift shop offered nothing and the kitchen sink. $390 for a pair of Tom Ford flimsy sunglasses seemed excessive. It offered bizarre smelling Norwegian aftershaves and pointless tat like magnetic balls for stress. The hotel doesn't have a spa and could really do with one. It doesn't have a sauna or a steam room which is ridiculous for a hotel of this rating. Small niggles I know but I actually enjoyed my stay. I'd go back! Continua a leggere

"London Hotel West Hollywood - Great Visit"
My wife, daughter and I started our US holiday with 4 nights at the London and it really provided the perfect introduction. Our Sunset Vista Suite had a great view, was very spacious (even with a rollaway bed), very clean and the bathroom was the most luxurious we've ever encountered in many years of travelling. Had a four night stay in The London and was not disappointed. Fabulous hotel - room was huge, very comfortable bed and the service was first class. Just off Sunset strip so easy walking to lots of restaurants. Gordon Ramsays restaurant was excellent. Lovely complimentary breakfast. Would definately stay there again.

I have stayed all over the place and hands down this is the best hotel!! Best Service! Awesome shower!! The service is outstanding and the daily breakfast was amazing. I loved the staff there!

The room was huge and well decorated, funny it didn't had a bathtub The terrace pool is great, service is excellet, fair price, good benefit/price relation The food was good, but being a Signature restaurant from a famous Chef I expected more WOW on it.

The service was exceptional, all employees were helpful and kind. The rooftop is amazing as is the food. However the gym look outdated and uninviting, and the bathrooms were filty. The sink counter had yellow and water stains all over and you didn't feel very clean walking around in there. No self parking is also a minus. $32/day for valet plus tip […] everytime you get back or want to go out adds up. Parked in the lot beside the hotel instead for $20/day. Continua a leggere

So I went here 2 nights before my stay to try the Gordon Ramsey restaurant. That experience was AMAZING so when my stay at the Four Seasons was up and i needed one more night i decided to try the London Hotel. The rooms looked amazing and are quite large. The personal was very helpful. My disappointment came with the cleanliness of the room. i found […] clothing on the floor sticking out from under the furniture from the previous guest when made me question the thoroughness of the maid staff and when returning to my room after a long night out i expected a freshen up with a turn down service. If they really want to be considered one of the best they need to step it up a notch. Guess I'm picky but it;s hard to follow in the steps of the four seasons and the ritz. Upgraded. Nice pool with delicious drinks. Amazing bathroom.
We picked this high priced hotel due to having a balcony pool and view/bar so we could wind down between long haul flights. It was disappointing to find out it was closed on two nights due to functions. The complimentary breakfast (continental) were good in the mornings, most staff quite friendly.

The hotel is gorgeous and the rooms are great, but the bathrooms are something to write home about. They are spacious, clean, and comfortable, the bathtub is amazing. I only stayed one night, next time I"ll stay longer.

"A Gem!"
This is the second time I have stayed at The London, the first being nearly two years ago. This will have to be one the most chilled and coolest hotel I’ve stayed in. Its in the heart of West Hollywood with live music venues on the door step not to mention the many great restaurants down Sunset Blvd. A short 20min drive to Venice beach or 10min drive […] to downtown. The room/bth room are large and it makes you feel as though your living at home away from home. The pool roof top area has to be the best in Hollywood if not LA. The atmosphere isn’t as bopping (DJ booth etc) as say the Mondrian down the road but the surroundings are much nicer/chic and food/drink spot on. All in all a great hotel to have a memorable stay in LA. I will certainly be back again... Continua a leggere
