Hilton Rose Hall was a family friendly resort. The food was very good which was kind of surprising! My only frustration was that many of the activities we could not take our infant son on even though we as the parents were willing to do so. I took my three Penn Staters to this great resort for their spring break. The beachfront room was incredible-the walkway to the perfect beach and pool area were steps away. This resort was a good value, but if you are looking for luxury and good service, this is not the place. My room was poorly cleaned and it took forever for housekeeping to bring up items. Simply put, this is an excellent hotel. Great value for the money, great service, the water park beats all expectations and you can literally spend all day there, beautiful beach, all inclusive meals and drinks all day, and the quality of the food & drinks is outstanding. It was first time to stay this hotel, and it was nice little vacation. Our kids enjoyed a lot and I and my husband enjoyed, too. My daughter keeps asking when we going back to hilton. It is great for family.

Hotel is nice place to stay. Water park is extra fun. Food is good, especially the Three Palms restaurant and made to order omelets. Would not scuba dive with on site provider again.

The Hilton is not spectacular but it is a solid option in Rose Hall and a good value for the price. The service was generally good. We needed to change rooms because the ground floor rooms within view of the bar are extremely loud at night. This took some persistence on our part because we were initially told that the hotel was "at capacity" but they […] finally "found" a room on a much quieter wing. Otherwise, everyone was consistently helpful and pleasant. The room was updated, modern and reasonably clean. The television was a bit small, but I rarely watched it. This is an all-inclusive and the food was readily available. While the quality was generally ok, the Jamaican food served at Fresh was authentic and very good. The hostesses were great here as well. My only complaint was that it took a bit of a wait to get coffee in the hectic breakfast rush on most days. The beach is reasonable, not spectacular, and filled up quickly (we stayed during a busy holiday weekend). The pool was similarly full and the property could do with a third "adults-only" pool. They also limit eating poolside which is a bit inconvenient. I would stay again, but if you are looking for a more luxurious experience, there are better options in the area. Continua a leggere

The staff at the Hilton were extremely friendly and helpful....the drinks and food were good and the beds were extremely comfortable. It was our first time in Jamaica and we had a really good experience at the Hilton Rose Hall.

We chose this hotel because we wanted to spend a relaxing vacation with no hassle. All inclusive, beach right by the hotel, gym, tennis and golf right there. The hotel was a little neglected and especially the restaurants and bars could have been kept cleaner, but everything else was splendid. Best thing about hotel was lazy river ride and the friendliness of all the people that worked there. Beach was a little small because of construction of a new retaining wall. Italian restaurant was our favorite, we didnt get to go to Three Palms which i heard was good also.

Good rooms but bath needs minor updates. Many different swimming pool themes. Great swim-up bar. Great food in buffet and restaurants. Beach is OK; few rough spots in water.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Hilton 8/15 to 8/18 .The kids had a great time . They enjoyed the amenities and used everything that was offered. The was also great they gave great service.

If you are looking to relax without leaving a classy resort, this is a great family place where the staff will pamper you! We were very pleased with the service, helpfulness, food, drinks, entertainment... Will return for sure!

I had a good time, food was great. The beach was a mess, it was full of stones and rocks about 10 feet into water that you have to pass before you get to good beach, i saw a few people fall because of that and parents having to carry their children over the rocks. otherwise everything else was good.

Pleasant getaway for weekend

We (my new Bride & I) just wrapped up a WONDERFUL 6-day stay at the Wonderful Hilton Rose-Hall! This made our 2nd stay here in as many years, and we won't hesitate making it a 3rd, when the opportunity arises. For my Wife and I, we found this to be the PERFECT environment to host Dozens of family and friends of various ages and backgrounds. There are many great things about this hotel, such as the all-inclusive nature of it where every thing such as food, drinks and entertainment are included. I think what makes the hotel stand out above others is the on-site water park. This includes a lazy river, water slides and so much more. I would highly recommend for families with kids.

My wife and I stayed at the Hilton Rose Hall 2 years ago with our daughter. We've just recently come back for a second stay, only just the adults this time. Both times we found the resort to be very nice and the rooms are very clean. The food is good, better than most Caribean resorts. It is a child friendly resort so expect a lot of kids. With Cinnamon Hill directly across the street, and with White Witch being a $15.00 cab ride away, the location is perfect. Both are excellent courses and are super convenient. The only knock against the hotel is that you're not really close to the city or any real nightlife. You're not really getting a feel for the Jamaican culture. Spent our first week at a big resort and the final 4 days of our stay at the Hilton Rose Hall (as a test - never stayed at hotel on vacation, has been typical resort stays). OVERALL, THE HILTON ROSE HALL IS A FIRST CLASS VACATION RESORT. IT'S NOT PERFECT, BUT IT'S PRETTY CLOSE... OUR ONLY PROBLEM WAS AT CHECK IN WHERE 1 OF OUR 2 ROOMS HAD NOT BEEN CLEANED. WE PUT OUR BELONGINGS IN THE CLEAN ROOM AND WENT OUT TO THE POOL FOR A DRINK (OR TWO..). THIS IS AN EXTREMELY FAMILY FRIENDLY RESORT WITH PLENTY OF THINGS TO DO FOR THE […] KIDS. MY KIDS LOVED THE WATER SLIDE INTO THE MAIN POOL, THE LAZY RIVER, AND THE HOBIE CAT SAILBOATS ON THE BEACH. I HAD NEVER STAYED AT AN ALL INCLUSIVE BEFORE, BUT THE FOOD WAS GOOD TO VERY GOOD (DEPENDING ON WHERE YOU WOULD EAT). THE ITALIAN RESTAURANT AND THE SEASIDE GRILL WERE VERY GOOD. THERE IS A BUFFET STYLE RESTAURANT CALLED "FRESH" THAT SERVES ALL 3 MEALS. THERE IS QUITE A VARIETY OF FOOD IN "FRESH" AND THEY CHANGED IT DAILY. ONE THING I WAS SURPRISED ABOUT WAS THE EVENING ACTIVITIES EACH NIGHT. I THOUGHT THERE WOULD BE SOME CHEESY JAMAICAN SHOW EVERY NIGHT (THERE WAS ONE), BUT THE BANDS AND PERFORMERS WERE VERY GOOD. The hotel is nice, the rooms are very clean and comfortable. I only stayed one night there because it was closely located to Montego Bay airport, but I wouldn't spend my vacation there. The service was average, one of the nice restaurants was closed and the other one was full very early, so we had to have the buffet, which was average at best. We stayed with our two kids (ages 5 and 2) for a week and had a fantastic experience. The food was much better than we expected, quite varied with a sampling of local cuisine, healthy options, and always something for the kids. Adults without kids looking for a good party or peace and quiet would probably be disappointed here--but it was perfect for us! We stayed at the hotel most of the time, going between the beach, pool and water park. We did one trip on a glass-bottom boat from the hotel. While fun, the reef there is overfished so we didn't see as much as we'd hoped. We also took a trip to the Hip Strip in Montego Bay, as we were hoping to get out and see a bit more of the country than just the resort. It was mostly standard souvenirs, exactly like you could find at the hotel or airport, and perhaps wasn't worth the taxi fare into town (though we did see some interesting neighborhoods on the way). The hotel was very comfortable and is near to the airport and rental cars which we were going to in the morning after our arrival. We went to the shopping area near-by the hotel and it was very convenient. Thank you so much for a very beautiful and inviting place.

Highly recommended. The staff, food and pool was as expected. My only issue was that the beach wasn't as nice as I was expecting but it wasn't too bad.

The hotel was great! only negative will have to be they are super expensive and charge double what we pay in America as far as food, drinks, snacks. The women staff are not that friendly but the men are. Extremely fun for kids, the water park is fun for everyone. The resort is clean, very elegant but the only thing that's a downer is how tight they are with everything, with toilet paper, towels, they don't take cash unless a manager is around so ur stuck with paying credit card all day long. Check in is extremely slow and you get hit with the $70/child/night charge as part of the check in process, not a great start. The site itself was good with different areas for beach/pool/lazy river/dining etc. The place was busy and it didn't feel very relaxing compared to the Ritz Carlton which we moved to after 4 days. It was a wonderful experience, but if you are not on an all-inclusive package, the food is terribly overpriced and there are few dining options close by if you do not have a car.

The customers service was good. I liked being able to choose to take the all inclusive or not. We were there for our anniversary and my husbands family reunion. The activities for the reunion was take some place else so we would not need to eat at the hotel. I am glad we had the option to choose not to take the all inclusive. We needed something at night and the only choice we had was to buy the buffet which we did not need at that time. When we arrived at the Rose Hall Hilton, we were greeted with a warm and hearty welcome. The staff was attentive, patient, responsive, accomodating and a host of other good things. We had a group of 20+ people and everyone is asking for the date of our next trip. The resort is great for both couples and families. There’s lots to do from playing golf […] to lazing around on the beach. The restaurant Fresh, a buffet style restaurant had a great assortment of food. In addition to the normal European menu, there were traditional Jamaican dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The only not so great experience was at their restaurant Three Palms. For a speciality restaurant, the food was at best ok; the servings were also extremely small. Lovely hotel not far from the airport .Hotel staff all very friendly and helpful . The food was varied and good quality . Loved the pool complex as did the children . The excursions we went on were well worth it . Would love to go back and would recommend to others especially if you have children.

The all inclusive was a waste of money. The food was awful, too hot and spicy for our taste. They did not offer many choices for people who do not like hot sauces or spices. The few items that we were able to eat, were not premium. Some days food looked and tasted re-heated. AI excludes water and premium beverages, so that was an additional cost .We […] were not told they have other AIs that actually included more! The room we were given had been assigned to another couple and we walked in on them. Hotel gave us an upgrade to an ocean front room for the same price, which was nice of them. In the new room, we spent more than 1 hr with hotel workers who had to fix the tv, install a new safe deposit box and other things. They were prompt and nice but that was just the beginning of a very bad vacation. My husband got sick on the 3rd day and remained sick for 1 week after we returned home. Hotel does not have enough umbrellas at the pool or the beach and it was a race every day to fnd one. Employees actually took money from guests to take umbrellas away from those who were at the beach, even though it was obvious that they were being used and there were towels/shoes/books right under them. They don't offer umbrellas for rent as some hotels do. Hotel offers cabanas for $30.00 daily. Then we got a call from our credit card because the hotel posted incorrect charges that I have not been able to resolve yet. Called hotel several times and could not speak to a manager. The hotel was nice and I would have loved to actually enjoy everything there was, most of all the beach. Again the food killed it for us. There was no entertainment either. We stayed 1 week , our first visit to the island. Sorry to say we won't be returning anytime soon. Continua a leggere
