Albergo, o meglio motel di circa 30 anni, la colazione viene servita nell,atrio dell' albergo al freddo ( dovevo andare con il giubbotto perché c'erano al massimo 4 gradi). Per non parlare del condizionatore che quando parte sembra di stare su un aereo.per andare alle camere devi accedere da un corridoio all'aperto, questo a NY dove l'inverno nevica!!.L' […] albergo ê di vecchia costruzione. L'hotel è a due passi dal centro (fermata back bay della metro) in un quartiere molto carino e tranquillo. A circa 10 minuti di camminata c'è una zona con molti locali e ristoranti in cui mangiare. La camera (una doppia con un solo queen bed quindi non molto grande) era un po' piccola ma pulita e curata e di recente ristrutturazione (stile moderno). […] Anche il bagno non era grandissimo ma nuovo e pulito (difficile starci in 2 contemporaneamente). Inoltre è presente la connessione wi-fi gratuita e la mattina alla reception è disponibile gratis il caffè o il the. Buon rapporto qualità-prezzo, dunque una sistemazione decisamente carina e originale. Un piccolo difetto è la poca insonorizzazione delle finestre percui si sentono i rumori tipici delle città, compresa la raccolta notturna dei rifiuti (ma questa è una caratteristica di tutti gli hotel americani). L'hotel dista a 10 minuti a piedi dal Boston Common,(punto di partenza del Freedom Trail) e, per chi ancora se lo ricorda, dal bar che ha ispirato la serie TV "Cheers". Per arrivarci però occorre attraversare un paio di stradine che, alla sera, non mi sono sembrate il massimo. Il personale all'accoglienza è stato cortese. La struttura è un po' vecchia, […] in particolare l'esterno dell'edificio, la reception ed i corridoi. Una volta in camera però, nonostante quella a noi assegnata fosse un po' piccina, l'ambiente si trasforma in moderno ed accogliente... bagno minimalistico però ed il lavandino era proprio piccolo. The staff was nice and helpful. The room was small but clean. The beds were confortable. The location was convenienT: walking distance to a lot of attractions. The people at the bar downstairs were noisy and we had to close our window to be able to sleep. Parking was expensive: 30$ a night.

This was a great place to stay for a short stay. The neighborhood was prefect and made me feel a part of the city not just a visitor. The rooms were simple and clean however the bed was a bit hard and didn't provide a sound nights sleep.

I lived in Boston for 12 years and found the location of the Chandler Inn wonderfully situated. I was close to a Bikram yoga studio, GREAT restaurants, awesome shopping and some pretty great gay haunts. I will look to stay here again on future visits.

Our stay was great. The location close to the station was perfect. The rooms are small, but nicely appointed. The biggest problem was the timing...we were there for the bombing lockdown. Still, a new experience for us from the other side of the world.Even thought the hotel doesn't offer breakfast, just a coffee machine, right next door is a great cafe, […] and there is a convenience store 50yds away. I stayed here while running the marathon. The location was perfect! It was a few blocks from the finish and the busses on Tremont. When I came back to the hotel after finishing the marathon the front desk knew who I was and congratulated me because they were following all of the guests online. Was really impressed with the Chandler in terms of service, the room and location. While small, the room was extremely clean, modern and functional with a European charm and feel. The friendly staff was really helpful and allowed me to do a really early check-in after my red-eye flight. I'd definitely stay at the Chandler again.

We were very satisfied with the stay at the Chandler Inn Hotel. The staff were nice and although the rooms were a bit small, they were very clean and beautifully maintained. The location of the hotel was a short 5-10 minute walk from the main area of Boston -- where the Freedom Trail begins -- but you're in Boston so walk around and explore! I stayed at yhe Chandler Inn for an event being held at the Hynes Convention Center. It may not have been the most immediate and convenient location, but the walk was very do-able and gave me a chance to unwind in the evenings. I have stayed at the Chandler before and will return again someday. I like the location as it is close the Back Bay and Copley Square. They have redecorated the rooms since I last stayed and they did a nice job. I don't spend much time in a hotel apart from sleeping and getting ready to go somewhere else, so this place was just fine. My usual concern with cheaper options in big cities is the shower, and as expected, it didn't get quite hot enough and the water pressure was low. When we got back to our room in the evening, there was a line of people outside of the bar waiting for admission by the bouncer - suggesting it was perhaps more of a night club than simply a bar. As a single woman traveling, I can't tell you how secure I felt there. The front desk was friendly and helpful. I stayed here for a few nights, as the house I was moving into wasn't available immediately after I arrived in Boston. The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance to Boylston and Newbury Street, and to Back Bay station. The staff were very polite and friendly, such as helping me with my luggage when they saw I was struggling. The room […] and bathroom were a little small, and the colour scheme was slightly odd (some browns and greens), but my room was warm, the bathroom was clean, and there was a large TV with cable. The bed was comfortable and they provided four good pillows. Light-sleepers should be warned that there is some noise from the street, but I didn't notice any of it coming from the bar next door (it was more traffic, etc.). In all my years of travel, never have I experienced a finer management team. My flight was extremely late landing in Boston, and they went above and beyond to accommodate me.
