great position! (close to the Alamo). The room was small but comfortable even if the air conditioned was noisy. Good and funny Texas shaped waffles for breakfast.

Ottima posizione, essendo circa 10 minuti a piedi lontano da downtown. Camera piuttosto confortevole, pulizia accettabile, personale alquanto gentile e disponibile. La colazione fin troppo spartana, ma accettabile. Tutto sommato, consiglio a tutti di scegliere questo hotel per il prezzo davvero basso rispetto agli standards degli hotel americani (very expensive!) e la qualità dei servizi e della camera che si sono dimostrati essere più che buoni.

Excellent location, everything in easy walking distance. Staff very helpful and welcoming. Rooms very spacious, decorated and furnished in style and comfortable, although I did have a little issue with the shower. I wouldn't hesitate going back or to recommending this hotel.

The bathtub had mold all over it. When you turned on the shower the water was orange looking like rust. You had to ask for towels. The pool was filthy. They advertise that they have computers in the lobby and don't. The breakfast had little food to choose from and I have stayed at other LaQuinta"s all over the United States and never had any problems […] with my rooms or continental breakfast being so skimpy. "Don't hang around on Friday"
La Quinta is showing its age. It is clean but paint is peeling, rails are rotting, flooring is curling, carpet is spotted. The staff is great but they only have so much to work with. A totally unwelcome surprise is the thumping music, roaring engines and squealing tires on Friday night. There is a car show every Friday evening at the neighboring shopping […] center and until 10:30pm or so it is not fun to be on the South side of the hotel. It shut down promptly at 10:00pm but participants stayed around unofficially till about 10:30. The staff was great when we had issues with our room and the housekeepers were thorough but we won't stay there again until it remodels and then only on the North side. The room smelled like mold....more specificallly the restroom floor was moist and slippery, and deffinitely stunk like mold........I would never stay at La Quinta Inn again.......

"hotel stay on Halm in san antonio airport"
stayed at the one by the airport. on Halm, sat room 539 need to have the carpet shampooed and a new chair. the chair was so stained i would not even set my suit case on it.
I needed a late check out and the hotel accomadated me, no questions asked and for no additional fee. It really helped me out.

"Great price and location"
Great price and great location if you are going to Schlitterbahn, the Riverwalk or the Natural Bridge Caverns or Wildlife Safari Park. The only thing I didn't like was that the microwave and the mini fridge were not plugged in and they couldn't really reach the outlet in the wall. Besides, who wants a fridge that is not already cold.

Nice hotel, fair price. Always a good option. I would only recommend that the cleaning staff know where the laundry machine is located. Was sent in circles and I never found it. :>)

When I made the reservation, I was told the room would have a microwave and fridge. When I got I there, none of the rooms with microwaves and fridges were available. Other than that, we had a nice stay.

The pool area was very pleasant to relax in after a busy hot day in old town San Antonio and was a bargain for such a nice place to stay.

"Nasty hotel"
Rarely do I take the time to write a review unless I have superb service or a very bad experience. When I checked in to my room after a 12 hr drive on the road, I was welcomed by a toilet that had not been flushed since previous use, a trash can that had not been emptied, no towels in the room except for one that had obviously been used and hanging […] on the back of the door. When I called the front desk, trying to reach someone for 35 min, I got no answer. My room was at the back of the hotel and the people outside were very "sketchy" looking so I was to scared to walk around to the front of the hotel. I ended up laying out sheets & pillows from home to sleep on bc I was pretty sure the sheets weren't clean either. When I did call the next morning to complain the manager on duty simply said, "sorry, what do you need now?" Horrible, horrible experience. "Okay but dirty"
Hotel was okay. Breakfast was as expected for continental. Room was not very clean. Bathroom had mold on shower curtain. Much nicer hotel if it were kept much cleaner!

This hotel was booked online and that is the only reason I stayed here. I was totally disgusted by the carpet and shower in the room. The carpet looked as if it hadn't been vacuumed in a while and had crumbs and dirt on it. Staff was very nice but my electricity went out in half my room the first night. They refunded the cost of my room. The second day my room was night cleaned.
"Good quality motel at a very affordable price"
As the other reviews stated... This was surprisingly a good quality motel for the price. When I arrived I asked to make sure that my room included a fridge and microwave. The gentleman stated that it did not, but immediately changed me into a room that did w/o any hassle. It was very clean (except for a hair on the bathroom floor) and the beds were […] comfortable. The breakfast was as expected for a "Continental Breakfast" including boiled eggs, cereal, muffins, toast, waffles, juice, coffee, etc. I will definitely recommend this motel to others. "Not the best obviously"
The smell of the room wasn't the best, but the worst was the pillow smell and pillow covers, you could tell they had not been changed, smelled like old sweat. I know, what could you expect for that cheap, right ?

"cleaning staff is lacking"
Our room was very dirty. There were two full Denny's cups on the dresser, a razor on the bathroom sink, 2 complimentary cups full of water, one of them had a bar of soap in it. There was pee on the toilet, my mom had to clean it before she could sit down to use the bathroom. We filled up the trash can picking up stuff before we could unpack. "Never again La Quinta!"
Booked Two connecting rooms. Reservations clerk indicated we reserved two connecting rooms. That was incorrect and mis-represented. Rooms were adjacent but not connecting. Found one of two rooms dirty with trash on floor and trash in trash can. Room had not been cleaned properly. Room smelled unclean. Asked for new room and discount because of inconvience […] of having to move in middle of night. We were given a new (acceptably clean) room but discount was denied. "Dingy Bathrooms Paper thin walls"
Signs of a very poor cleaning in room . The tub/shower had an open and partially used shampoo bottle, scum build up Dingy/ doubt it was cleaned between change outs tried. towels very small thin and slight smell (could be my imagination by now). Now matter how you close the curtain or angle the shower head there is a large pool of water on the floor. […] Room AC works well and the look and general layout is workable again poor maintenance no sound Insulation can hear other's flush and shower or TV. "midway between Schlitterbauhn & the SA Zoo"
The rooms cleanliness left much to be desired. The bathroom had a dead roach on the floor. The shower curtain had mildew along the top. The room was exremely humid and the bed sheet had a cigarette burn in it.

"A relaxing destination after a long day's trip!"
We arrived here after driving all day, and were thrilled to find a clean and comfortable room even though we hadn't had to pay much for it. I would definitely stay here again. There was some hair on the bathroom floor that had not been cleaned up from the previous guest, but that is my only complaint. The a/c unit was turned on in the room when we arrived, […] which was a relief next to the heat outside. The beds were clean and very comfortable, and breakfast was very good. The girl working at the front desk did a fantastic job managing the guest check-outs while also overseeing the breakfast buffet, making sure things were stocked and clean. Good value for the money. Older facility-needs some work-hand railing in the elevator was taped together. Convenient to I-35 and Loop 1604-you can get anywhere in San Antonio fairly quickly. Very clean. Comfortable mattresses and pillows.

The hotel was in a great spot. 15 min from downtown, 15 min from Schlitterbahn. All the stores you need are within 5 min drive. The beds were really comfy. The room was super clean. They actually have maid service everyday, and not every 3 days. Employees very nice and helpful. The location is what sold me. I will stay there everytime I visit San Antonio. Great place for the price. Very clean, and all employee's were very nice, and helpful. The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept on. Will stay at this hotel again in the future.

Todo bien, pero en la informacion atravez de su pagina, decia que tenian videojuegos en la Tv; como en otros hoteles La Quinta que me he quedado.....pero en este no tenian, ya que decian acaban de cambiar todas las TV; Para mi era muy importante para entretener a mis hijos; El recepcionista no batallo y solo nos dijo; que me quejara en hotels.com;
