The newly remodled area of the Hotel is great. Breakfast was great, a little windy pn the pool deck and hey its Hawaii. Had a small issue with the water in my first room due to the new construction. Managment was very accomidating and took care of the issue in a first class manner! I was in a newly remodeled room, and it was very nice. I really enjoy this hotel. I chose it for the free internet and the free breakfast buffet. My only issue is that the buffet closed too early....9 am during the week and 10 am on the weekends. 9am?? Also, they have mandatory valet parking that is really expensive. We loved our stay and the hotel with the exception of the bathroom toilet which we found to be a little dirty and smelly. I do wish the swimming pool were somewhere warmer and not in the shade. It was too cold to go into the pool when it was windy. But I do highly recommend this hotel to anybody. Room were spacious and staff were always nice.

The hotel was nice and breakfast at the pool was a great inclusion. The position is good for the zoo and volcano but in hindsight, for our short stay, the other end of Waikiki maybe offers more. The staff were friendly enough but just didn't quite have their act into gear. Had no I inaction to hand when needed, scrawled all detail of stay on the little […] hotel key packet, wouldn't assist by swapping the breakfast for one of the grab and go snacks on our last day when we had to fly before breakfast started, had no area maps or info and were generally unhelpful with local information. Overall hotel was in good location, close to the zoo and minutes away from trolley stop. We had a 15 month old and requested for a crib which was free. Hotel cleaniess is slightly below par where sands were found on carpets and chair. The cleaner doesn't wipe down the table. Beds were a little on the soft side. Our balcony door wasn't working. The hotel is nice and clean, rooms are comfortable, included wi-fi and breakfast, which was okay for a hotel. An easy walk to the beach, restaurants, etc. The pool is a little on the cool side and the wind really whips through the pool deck, not as nice an area as the other Hyatt or the other resorts.

New Hyatt Place branded hotel to open in Waikiki in 2011's fall. Very good breakfast.The room is nice and clean. Friendly hotel staffs. I will stay here again!

Loved this hotel. They are doing an addition to the hotel and it should be beautiful when it's finished. It was as good as the Hyatt Regency (which I stayed in last time in Hawaii) but cheaper. Will definitely stay again.Gre

Hotel is on the East end of the Waikiki Beach strip very close to the Zoo and Diamond Head. The hotel was wonderful and I would recommend it to anyone - great breakfast buffet included - perfect for a family. Our room was a corner - just asked nicely for a view - and was huge! The hotel was nice and comfortable. Only a block from the main drag (Kalakaua). The street behind it (Kuhio) has some decent food options that won't break the bank. The employees are very friendly. If you book a king bed room, do you let them put you in room 331!! This room is the only room with direct access to the pool area, which sounded like it […] would be a nice convenience. It is NOT. It's surrounded by the fitness room, laundry room, elevators and gate entry to the pool. It is extremely noisy. Especially with some noisy guests enjoying the pool @ 10pm. and people going to the pool area for the FREE breakfast starting at 6:30am. After we moved to a different room the next day, it was so much better. As mentioned earlier, they provide a free continental breakfast in the mornings, which is nicer than expected. some hot items, pastries, oatmeal, fruit, cereals, coffee, juices, milk, plus a traditional japanese breakfast of rice, miso soup, toppings of seaweed, tofu, etc. Also a bit of a gripe -- we accidentally left our child's booster seat in the room after we checked out and left for the airport. When we realized this (less than 30 min after checkout), I called them to let them know (so they could have it ready for us to come back to pick up). I was on hold for almost 20 minutes while they tried to contact housekeeping. We got back to the hotel only to find that they couldn't find it. And couldn't locate the housekeeper that cleaned the room. Another 10-15 minutes passed before we finally got it. Of course, this was our fault for leaving the booster seat behind, but I hoped/expected a more timely response since I called them to give them advanced notice first. Continua a leggere

Great hotel, the only issue is the lifts. Having to wait up to 5minutes to get a lift and only to stop and it's full was very annoying. We had to change our schedule to avoid peak times when the lift was going to be its busiest. Bed was a little soft. Not sure if it was the duvet cover over mattress or the mattress. Bathroom was beautiful and clean. Large LCD TV on a low dresser. Air condition unit was too noisy. Close to beach, zoo and park. Good quality food at free breakfast served at 6am. Great stay over all. Would stay there again.

Booked a deluxe ocean view room and pleasantly surprised by the size of the room. Shower & toilet space a little on the tight side but plenty of room in the vanity area. Air conditioner also a little noisy. Public areas comfortable and welcoming. Would book again.

The officail rating of this hotel was a three, however, considering the size of the room and the amenities thereof, I would rate it at four. If it had a larger toilet and shower area I would rate it a 4.5.

This was a very nice hotel. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. I would come back to this hotel anytime. I would recommend this hotel to all of my friends and family.

I checked in needing a quick getaway: Hyatt Place was the only place that still had availability for the entire weekend. It wound up being slightly more than I really wanted to spend, but worth it. Clean room, designer soaps that smelled fabulous, soft crisp sheets... high-speed Internet was included in the reservation through Hotels.com. Service […] very polite and helpful. I hadn't eaten in 12 hours when I walked into the room and finally remembered to eat: the Gallery cafe is a bit expensive (!) so I would not recommend that unless it's a) really late or b) nothing else close enough. My one possible complaint was being awoken at about 11am to a dispute between what sounded like a housekeeping supervisor and one of her staff, conducted at some volume. I stayed in this hotel with my girlfriend and we were both pleasantly suprised as to how modern and new the room looked. Very spacious for just two people, close to the beach and close to the nightlife. Only complain was the sheets werent as smooth and nice as I am used to be. But overall great hotel, fair price, would go back again.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. They had issues with the food service in the hotel as the over had been turned off so I was unable to get pizza for the kids. Also, the pool area is very windy and cold. The pool gets very little sun and sometimes I just wanted to be in the pool not at the beach but the temp of the pool and lack of sun made that […] impossible. We had originally booked at another hotel that someone told us about... it was called queen kapiolani hotel... it was a dump and after a night of staying there we needed to relocate... so we found the Hyatt Place. We were more than happy with our stay there. I wish they had room service and a jacuzzi. Everything else was great. Clean rooms, starbucks […] in the lobby, cafe style ordering in the lobby. Vi skulle få ett nyrenoverat, men det var inte färdigställt så vi fick ett större rum utan extra kostnad. Väldigt rent och rymligt rum. Nära till bushållsplats för utflykter till t.ex. Diamond Head och Hanauma Bay. Gångavstånd till stranden men för att komma till den "finare" stranden får man gå en bit. Annars helt klart perfekt hotell för att uppleva […] waikiki! スタッフの方達は皆さん親切でした。ビーチが近くて好立地だと思います。部屋自体は綺麗にリフォームされていましたが、お風呂の排水がとても悪く、ゆっくりシャワーを使うことが出来ませんでした…。ビーチで遊んだ後にしっかりシャワーを浴びようと思うと少し厳しいかもしれません。そこだけは不便さを感じました。

以前のホテルからリニューアルされて凄く綺麗になり、部屋もとても広くなってました。無料の朝食が付いてたりロビーではパソコンも無料で利用出来ました。そして部屋にはWI-FIが配備されてますし、本当にサービスは満点でした。。。ただ、少しだけですが、メイドサービスは少し雑に掃除されてるように感じました。それ以外はホテルスタッフも完璧でした。次回もまた利用したいと思います。

ウォシュレット付きの部屋にしてもらったために自宅にいるようでトイレは快適でした。 またここの売りの朝食もとても良かったです。 ワイキキの中心部からはちょっと離れていますが（徒歩15分位はかかります）、夜中に馬鹿騒ぎするような人たちもいないため、静かに過ごせました。 意外と穴場ないいホテルだと思いました。 但し、中心部からは慣れているのに駐車場が1日25ドルというのはちょっと高いなぁと思いました。（バレーパーキングだという事もあるとは思いますが・・・。）

Das Hotel ist von der Lage sehr gut gelegen. Nicht allzu weit vom Waikiki Beach entfernt. Das Hotel ist sauber, das Personal sehr freundlich. Es ist aus meiner Sicht aber kein Hotel, der den Brand Hyatt verdient; es ist wohl eher ein 3-Stern Hotel.
