La colazione era poco varia e scarsa. Poco attenti alla pulizia dei tavoli nei cambi degli ospiti durante la colazione. La camera confortevole e pulizia giornaliera con cambio asciugamani e lenzuola a giorni alterni.

L'hotel 17 è un'ottima scelta per un soggiorno a New York, con un eccellente rapporto qualità rapporto/prezzo. La posizione è tra i suoi pregi migliori, logisticamente comodo per spostarsi anche a piedi sia verso il nord che verso il sud di manhattan, e il quartiere offre una vasta scelta di ristoranti e locali per cene e colazioni. Le camere sono abbastanza grandi e pulite, il bagno condiviso non lo abbiamo praticamente mai trovato occupato e sempre pulito.

L'hotel è nuovo e si trova in una buona posizione, a due passi dal Madison Square Garden e da Times square. La camera era grande ed i letti molto comodi. Uniche due pecche significative sono state, la wifi in camera funziona molto male (meglio nella lobby) e il pavimento che non è mai stato lavato (i calzini antiscivolo delle bambine erano neri dopo 5 minuti). Inoltre non vengono forniti accessori da bagno tipo le cuffie per fare la doccia.

Bellissima permanenza, punto ideale per visitare la città collegatissimo e a due passi dalla 5th. Camera non enorme ma comfortevole, sempre pulita e molto curata nell'arredamento. Albergo ad altissimo livello, se avete qualche soldino da spendere andateci. Enjoy NYC

"Bell'hotel, meravigliosa New Yprk"
Hotel di buon livello situato nel Midtown. Lusso un po' sovrabbondante nella lobby dotata wi-fi free, camere spaziose e di buona qualità. Da evitare la prima colazione, non compresa nel costo della camera e assolutamente insignificante in rapporto al prezzo richiesto. Il costo delle bevande in camera è molto elevato e quindi conviene procurarsi l'acqua […] minerale nei chioschi o nei punti vendita che si incontrano per strada. Molto bello il fitness center all'ottavo piano con vista sulla cattedrale di San Patrizio. L'hotel è situato in posizione strategica, ma poiché Manhattan è vasta ed è impensabile girarla tutta a piedi, il mezzo migliore in assoluto è il bus. I bus corrono lungo tutte le strade, in verticale e in orizzontale e le fermate sono all'incrocio delle strade. Una volta capito il sistema, la copertura è davvero capillare e con la metrocard del costo di 29$ ci si muove per una settimana in tutta Manhattan. Come pubblicizzato era molto gradevole, con un servizio particolarmente buono nella parte delle Towers con il portierato e check-in separati - notare che hotels.com dà praticamente lo stesso prezzo per le Torri e per le stanze normali… avrete una vista sulla cattedrale di St. Patrick.. e il club breakfast bar è fantastico, con filetto di salmone e frutta […] fresca, succhi, caffè eccetera... se non avete tempo per andare a piedi, potete usare l'auto dell'albergo. Controllate proprio tutto, quando recuperate il bagaglio il giorno del check-out, perchè si sono tenuti il pastrami e i panini che ho dimenticato; ho viaggiato fino a San Diego senza avere niente da mangiare! Raccomando decisamente di soggiornare al Palace. Allo stesso tempo, trovo dei limiti nelle opzioni per la cena. Inoltre il servizio di Concierge dovrebbe essere migliorato. Hanno un atteggiamento un po' fastidioso. Volevo informazioni su qualche evento di Brodway. Quando ho chiamato, mi hanno messo in attesa a lungo. Ho dovuto richiamare 3 volte. Eravamo in una camera con accesso al Club Executive, che vale proprio il costo extra. Viene data una prima colazione completa e altro cibo, gradevolmente approntato, disponibile per tutto il giorno. Le stanze erano molto belle, ma con un arredamento molto tradizionale - niente di unico o colorato, ma molto comode e spaziose. Il servizio era un pochino […] 'rigido' - abbiamo perfino chiamare il servizio in canera per avere un secchiello del ghiaccio - e sicuramente l'addetto aspettava una mancia... Mi ha sorpreso che al check-out nessuno ci abbia chiesto come avessimo trovato il soggiorno, nè c'erano informazioni sulla persona da cui dovevamo andare a pagare, o dove, per il parcheggio nel garage. Abbiamo avuto una deliziosa esperienza al New York Palace Towers. La stanza era spaziosa e comoda. Il lounge executive offriva pasti da gourmet per tutto il giorno. Tutto il personale era amichevole e sollecito. Decisamente tornerei qui di nuovo, e non vedo l'ora di farlo.

Vengo sempre qui, il servizio è impeccabile e l'edificio immacolato. Gli uscieri sono sempre dei gentlemen (e molto eleganti!) e gli addetti all'accettazione sono rapidi, efficienti e gentili. La mia stanza era occupata e mi hanno destinato una suite singola angolare nelle Towers. Scusandosi profusamente per avermi fatto aspettare per la suddetta stanza, […] mi hanno recapitato in camera un cesto di frutta omaggio. Come ho detto, il servizio è imbattibile. Stayed at The New York Palace for 5 nights. Following noise from vents just outside our window on the 10th floor we were moved, without hassle, to a room on the other side of the building, with a fantastic view of St. Patrick's cathedral. Normally there is an extra charge for these rooms but this was waived. The location was perfect. Close to the Rockefeller, […] Times Square and 5th Avenue. The Hotel is extremely impressive and the staff is very helpful. I booked a king bed room for myself and I was upgraded to a 34 floor room with Cathedral views. The room is very clean and feels fresh everywhere. The beds are very luxurious. Location is the best for my business in New York and only steps away. A lot of excellent restaurants around and […] very convenient to 5th Avenue shopping. The room was large by New York standards and gigantic for international standards. Having said that, the room could use a few improvements to make it perfect. High Definition TV for example and less expensive internet fees. Also a larger robe would be a nice addition. The staff in the hotel was extremely nice and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The room was spotlessly clean and the beds were turned down each night. Location was perfect just off 5th av, the bar is fantastic. The only downside was trying to get our luggage on check out took half an hour so remember to leave plenty of time before you go to airport!

"Felt like a pampered queen"
I liked everything about my stay at this hotel. It is absolutely luxurius, the room was very comfortable, great pillows, nice linens,comfortable temperature, very quiet,etc. It's perfect!
We had a wonderful experience. Breakfast in the lobby was very busy and our waiter seemed a little hassled. We had two small children with us and we had to wait for a long time to be waited on despite asking to order for the children. Other then that, everyone was friendly and helpful. Would go back.

This was by far the most expensive hotel I have ever stayed in. Since I was staying in NYC for one night, I thought I would splurge and stay in a fancy-pants hotel. For the price, I'm deeply disappointed that when I took my shower in the morning, the bathtub wouldn't drain and I was quickly standing in ankle-deep water. As well, for the price, they […] don't include free wifi in the rooms, only in the hotel lobby. They wanted to charge $15.99 for 24 hours of wifi service. Seriously? In any budget motel I've ever stayed in, I get free wifi in my room. Absolutely ridiculous. We had a perfect overnighter in the city with our six year old grandson. The staff were beyond helpful. We got an upgrade to the 44th floor of the towers which we greatly appreciated. Everything was beyond our expectations. Thank you eveyone!
Wonderful place to stay. However, the lighting in the room leaves a lot to be desired.

"Wonderful luxury hotel"
We couldn't have picked a better hotel for our first visit to New York. The staff was wonderful, friendly and helpful. Our room was exactly as described when we booked it on hotels.com. The room was beautifully furnished and the beds and pillows were SO comfortable. We were on the 15th floor with a gorgeous view of St. Patrick's Cathedral. Only 1.5 […] blocks to the subway and a short walk to Rockefeller Plaza and Radio City Music Hall. A lovely walk to Central Park and lots of shopping. There are no ice machines on the floors but ice is available on request and automatically with turn down service. Also, although there are no coffee makers in the rooms, were were offered one free of charge when the bellman brought our bags up. Early check in is available but our room wasn't available so they offered us a king bed on the 32 floor. We really needed the 2 double beds so they offered to store our luggage so we could go explore the city and called us when our room was ready. They even offered to let us shower and freshen up if we needed to. If I could get another great deal on the price I would definitely stay at the Palace again! Continua a leggere

I usually stay at another fine hotel in NYC, but I booked on short notice and they were full, so I tried the Palace. I definitely will return. As aspects of the Palace were excellent during my stay, from the large room to the attentive but unobtrusive service. Only complaints: remote for TV only worked if you were almost on top of the set, lighting in room was complicated and $27 for a glass of wine in the hotel lobby bar seemed a bit much. We were only in NYC for one night but the staff at the palace made us feel as welcome as if we were there for a week. The bellmen were great - thanks George!!- and the concierge helped arrange our last minute tix. Our room had an amazing view and we were as close to everything as we needed to be. We loved our 4 night stay in the NY Palace, just sorry we couldn't afford to eat there, not even breakfast. 2 coffees cost us 20 dollars, Otherwise perfect and yes I would stay ther eagain.

If it weren't for the desire to walk around a fantastic city, I would never have left the bed! The NY Palace beds were cloud-like with bedding that was extremely fresh. We ordered a rollaway and even that was firm, but soft & pillowy. I wish all hotels made beds a priority like the Palace!

The Towers section has an executive suite on the 39th floor which allows access to tower guests only. this facility was amazing allowing drinks and food +breakfast all free of charge at certain times of the day.The executive suite also allowed you to take drinks and snacks to your room to save paying for items in the mini bar. The Towers section has its own booking in area and lifts which made you feel really special The service was excellent and our concierge Gunter gave us good advice on things to see and places to go nothing was too much trouble. if you are looking to stay at this hotel all I can say is BOOK IT.
