La colazione era poco varia e scarsa. Poco attenti alla pulizia dei tavoli nei cambi degli ospiti durante la colazione. La camera confortevole e pulizia giornaliera con cambio asciugamani e lenzuola a giorni alterni.

L'hotel 17 è un'ottima scelta per un soggiorno a New York, con un eccellente rapporto qualità rapporto/prezzo. La posizione è tra i suoi pregi migliori, logisticamente comodo per spostarsi anche a piedi sia verso il nord che verso il sud di manhattan, e il quartiere offre una vasta scelta di ristoranti e locali per cene e colazioni. Le camere sono abbastanza grandi e pulite, il bagno condiviso non lo abbiamo praticamente mai trovato occupato e sempre pulito.

L'hotel è nuovo e si trova in una buona posizione, a due passi dal Madison Square Garden e da Times square. La camera era grande ed i letti molto comodi. Uniche due pecche significative sono state, la wifi in camera funziona molto male (meglio nella lobby) e il pavimento che non è mai stato lavato (i calzini antiscivolo delle bambine erano neri dopo 5 minuti). Inoltre non vengono forniti accessori da bagno tipo le cuffie per fare la doccia.

Bellissima permanenza, punto ideale per visitare la città collegatissimo e a due passi dalla 5th. Camera non enorme ma comfortevole, sempre pulita e molto curata nell'arredamento. Albergo ad altissimo livello, se avete qualche soldino da spendere andateci. Enjoy NYC

"View of Central Park"
Location of the hotel was fantastic!!! Convenient to everything! The condition of the room was fair. Not well equipped for a business traveler. Lack of outlets especially near the desk area. No hot water one of the mornings. The room was not very clean.
"Dissaponting"
The hotel was well located. However, the services were poor and the room was too simple. Internet was slow.
The hotel is a perfect balance of location, price, cleanliness and service. The king sized bed was extremely comfortable. We will stay at this hotel when we visit next time.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Park Central New York Hotel for a weekend getaway to celebrate our anniversary. This hotel is a few blocks from Central Park and Times Square and there is a Metro stop directly outside of the doors. That's about all that we were impressed with. When we arrived to check in, there was a line of about 10 people in front […] of us, with only two Front Desk Employees working, so the wait was significant. We were confirmed with a Superior King, and entered our room to find two double beds. The phone in the room did not work, so I had to call with my cell phone and was placed on hold for over five minutes and they sent an employee to our room with keys to our new room. It took over twenty minutes to receive the new keys, and the elevators on the floor we were placed on did not work. We were told this was the last Superior King available and that we would have to use the elevators that were on the other side of the hallway. On top of that, the phone in the hallway was constantly ringing in the morning and woke us up. We were less than impressed with the accommodations and the quality of service. The room smelled of urine my entire stay so I kept the window open and the noise kept me awake all night. Therefore I had a lousy stay!

This hotel was awful. Smelled like feet in hallways. Dark and disgusting! Elevator was PITCH BLACK when door closed! Not four star at all. Glad I was only there one night.

I visited NYC and stayed at this hotel alone 7 years ago and suggested it to family and friends when we were planning a March Break visit...we weren't looking for pool and fancy restaurants. Location is absolutely tops and our rooms were just fine. Lobby and tourist info were lacking and parking was expensive (no one mentioned the package for parking […] when we booked). Good spots for breakfast across the street and proximity to Central Park and Carnegie Hall etc. were perfect. Will stay there again for sure. Continua a leggere
. We had connecting rooms which was nice, but it looked as though the connecting door hadn't been opened recently as there was a disgusting amound of built up dust all along the door frame....looked like mold. We used the glasses provided with ice bucket, and were never given fresh ones (despite asking for them), weren't given fresh wash towels the […] 2nd day either. It looked as though housekeeping simply made up the beds and that was it. The condition of the rooms was very bad....stains on the walls, and celings up to including a dead bug that had been smooshed on celing in bathroom! It had never been wiped away...that is truly gross. I spoke on the phone with a supervisor, who was very nice (can't remember her name) and relayed this information including asking for the glasses to be sent up. She agreed with all that i said, and apologized. She offered compensation, to which I declined as that was not why I was calling. I did accept a late checkout, which was nice. However, even though she promised tohave glasses and towels sent up immediately.....none ever arrived. I was incredulous!! I remember that when I used to work for Omni Hotels (also worked for Westin), the Park Central was an Omni, and we used to dub it "the Park Central Dump" because the rooms were reputed to be in such poor condition. apparently, things haven't changed much. Have stayed all over the city. Park Central was a great value. Accommodating staff. Starbucks bar in the lobby for early coffee. Elevators were fairly quick. We would stay there again!
"Love the location"
This was my second time at this hotel and I love the location. It is an easy walk to many sites, Central Park, Times Square, etc. The rooms are clean although slightly small. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I did not find the beds super comfortable but definately adequate. I would stay here again.

"Great Option!"
The Park Central was a great option. Comfortable room, beds and space. The staff was wonderful about retrieving my forgotten phone charger. They couldn't have been nicer all around.
"Amazing location & service, otherwise bleh"
The check-in/check-out went very smoothly and all staff was very courteous. Excellent location- very close to the park and Columbus Circle. The room, however, smelled funny (like perfumy from the cleaning products), the towels felt like sandpaper and our view was of the back of a building and some garbage.

"Great location, good rate, okay hotel for 1 night"
I recommend this hotel for the one night stay that we experienced. If it were a longer stay, then the below inconveniences would have needed to be addressed. The staff were mostly pleasant, with one exception. Called for early check-in. Person I spoke with was pleasant and accomodating. However, upon checking-in, the desk attendant was unaware of the […] arrangement, annoyed by the inconvenience and questioned our word. In the end, we were able to check-in early, but were a little put-off by the attitude. Overall, the room was fine. We had two problems: 1. The window cooling/heating unit did not cool the room a degree, despite being set to max cool for over 10 hours. We returned to the room late at night, so we didn't bother to complain. 2. I am the furthest thing from a neat freak and usually don't notice nit-picky things, but there was an odd stain on the quasi-bedspread swatch at the end of the bed. Believe me, if I happened to notice it, then the cleaning crew definitely should have. So, there it is. Great location, good rate, nice room, so-so service. Fine for one night. Continua a leggere

We visited the hotel on Easter Weekend. It was wonderfully located for our interests, close to shopping, Times Square, Central Park. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, providing directions and advice. As the hotel is very to Carnegie Hall, there were lots of school tours and as such the Concierge was very busy. "Good location, some problems"
Broken elevators, a bit "tired" and seedy. For some reason half of the rooms on our floor had circled x's in ballpoint pen on the wall outside the door. This was a bit...creepy. Our room did not have an x.
Frustrating to have to pay for wifi access even in the lobby but overall a decent enough hotel in a good location.

"Park Central IN NYC"
this hotel is centrally located and could not be more convenient to midtown. we were also pleased with its good maintenance for an older hotel. We enjoyed being there and would stay again.

Hotel room was clean and service was excellent. Room is small, but this is to be expected in such an old hotel. Don't bother to pay extra for the view. I did and we were on the 19th floor and the view was still only of the hotel across the way. Very close to 5th ave shopping, Time Square and Central Park. Subway station right on corner.

"Near Cental Park"
Room was very cold and called front desk and visited front desk asking for heat or heater and each day it was promised but NO RESULTS! I was told by a Doctor that was staying their that this is always a problem at this hotel,

I only had dealings with Ellen when we checked in. She was very sweet and went out of her way to get us a room before the posted 4 p.m. check in time. She gave us maps and told us the best places to go and even asked that we stop by before we check out and tell her how our trip was. She is very warm and I really appreciated her help.

"Good Hotel"
This time when I stayed at this hotel, I got the room I booked online. It was on a much higher floor and in a better part of the hotel. While it still felt very old, the room I had this time was much nicer, bigger and I didn't feel like I was in a dungeon as I did the last time I stayed here. It also felt cleaner. Most hotels I stay at in NY don't charge to store bags for the afternoon while you wait to go to the airport but this hotel does and I find that to be unnecessary and an added expense to an already expensive trip. I have stayed at this hotel before which is why I chose to stay here again. I had never stayed in "this part" of the hotel before and found it badly in need of renovation. I booked a specific type of room online and when I arrived, the room was not available. The room I had was not acceptable but I didn't have a choice. "Excellent mid-town selection"
I've stayed in a lot of boutique and mainstream hotels in Manhattan, this combined the best of both worlds. Spacious contemporary rooms in an excellent location for work and play (a run in Central Park is 2 blocks away). Very happy with the hotel overall and will be looking to stay here in the future.
"Good deal, great location, constant mold problem"
I stay here regularly - maybe once every other month. It's a good deal for the price and location, but every room I have stayed in has had dark mold. Once the walls were covered and so bad that I immediately switched rooms, the last time it was just a little on the shower curtain - but I have never stayed in a mold-free room at this hotel.

The rate on this hotel was not bad, especially given the location, but everything else required separate charges, including storing our bags after we checked out. We paid the highest parking fee I've ever paid in the City, and it didn't even allow you to take the car out or you got charged a full day's fee again!
